When it was time to wash out the color, she yelled from the other side of the salon that she was ready for me. I should have left then - but I didn't and she butchered my hair so badly that I tear up every time I look in the mirror. Cut off about 4 inches when I said I just wanted 2 inches, and cut uneven layers in my very thin hair. The root touch up looks like someone dumped brown paint on the top of my head - not blended in, color is too dark. Unless you get a personal recommendation for a particular stylist, I'd be wary. Now I have to try to find someplace else where I can go to get it fixed.

Jennifer looked through photos of me on my phone, and from those, she got my correct color perfect! Then, Jennifer added highlights, fixed the cut, and my hair looks better than it ever has. It's just unbelievable, especially for a fair price! Jennifer explained to me how to replicate the style on my own in the future. Just great! The salon is clean, open and inviting. She is highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable, very talented, and knows exactly how to give you what you want even if you don't know how to properly explain it. If I had things my way I would never go to anyone but her. In addition, the salon is clean and very well-stocked, all the staff is so friendly, and I can thank them enough. I wish I had more stars to give because Salon Hue deserves them all!

Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5…read moreValue: 5/5 ----- Recently, my stylist (Lindsey) moved here, and so I had to come visit and leave a review! I've reviewed her before, but long story short -- there are only about a billion good things to say. Headwaves has a model where each stylist has a little station within the salon, and they manage their own schedules and are generally more independent than at other salons. I personally love that model, because the service you get feels more personal. It's definitely a lot quieter and less busy than a lot of other salons that are open-plan layouts, so if you love that, this is the place for you! I love knowing that everything I pay for at the end of my visit goes directly to my stylist. I've been with Lindsey for years, all through college and now grad school, and even though I live in Dallas, I only schedule hair appointments when I know I'll be home in Little Rock. I've followed her to this new salon, and I would follow her anywhere! She's so good at knowing what I prefer, what looks good on me, what products are best for my hair, etc. We do cut and color almost every time, and I think she does a great job at balancing trying new things so I don't fall into a rut with my hair, while still keeping the basics strong. She's also great at helping me find products that work well and are worth their price tag. I would LOVE if she decided to relocate to Dallas, but for now, I'll keep making the 5 hour drive.
