I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff, and the office itself was beautiful, comfortable, and meticulously maintained. The welcoming waiting area even offered complimentary coffee and water, which was a thoughtful touch. The 3D scan of my mouth that Irma, the x-ray tech/radiographer, performed was impressive. I had never experienced this type of imaging before of my mouth. It was far superior to the uncomfortable dental x-rays I've had in the past. Irma was professional, personable, and efficient, making the entire process quick and comfortable. Dr. Hinchey was equally impressive. He is warm, friendly, professional, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He carefully reviewed my scans, explained exactly what they revealed, discussed his diagnosis, and outlined a detailed treatment plan. One thing that really stood out to me was when he said he's a perfectionist and won't move from one step to the next until everything is exactly right. As a fellow perfectionist, that gave me tremendous confidence that I had chosen the right oral surgeon. I was provided with a written treatment plan and costs by Jennifer, the Surgical Coordinator, who scheduled my next visit. She was professional, efficient and happy to answer my questions. Before my appointment, I had read the many Google five-star reviews about Dr. Hinchey and his practice. He was a very young gentleman and spent a large portion of the appointment talking about sex, which made me extremely uncomfortable and felt completely inappropriate in a medical setting. At the end of the visit, he told me I would need teeth pulled, but by that point I was so uncomfortable that all I could think about was getting out of the room.
