I reiterated that I was only there for them to take an impression of my teeth and order a retainer. Was told the x-rays were required. Got up and walked out. They do not in any way need to have a full set of x-rays to take an impression or order a retainer. Just blatant insurance abuse, if not fraud. If I allowed them to do them, and charge my insurance company, then that service would not be available for my actual dentist when it was time. I will order them from an online provider.
