Of course, I went to this location to have Curtis from Liberty Tax service to help me. (I have had back surgery and was in a lot of pain.) Curtis helped me without any problems and assured me that everything would be ok. I was so worried. Then I received a letter from the IRS to prove who I was and to have my other tax forms from before with the amounts from the back tax returns ready for them. I went to Curtis and he helped me through the whole process with me without asking for more money or anything. He was kind, courteous, and had me laughing. After the phone call with the IRS, which I was extremely nervous about he told me just to wait another 4-6 weeks and let him know. In 4 weeks an other letter from the IRS. Once more Curtis was there for me. He stood his ground with the IRS and now I have the FULL RETURN! He helped our family through the whole process! He was there even though he had been to the dentist and had teeth problems. What an amazing tax place! We adore LIBERTY TAX. We will be back there Year after year! They are the BEST!!!

Several reasons for the one star. 1) Somehow added/invented…read more$7000 income on tax return, raising tax obligation by around $1500 to a sole proprietor. 2) When notified of their mistake and given back the paperwork, they said they'd get right on it. They did not call when they said they would, twice. Had to go in ON tax day, because waiting longer wasn't an option, and only then was the issue resolved. 2) Manager said filing the correction at no charge was a special favor they were doing, as it is normally $100. This is obviously absurd. 3) Manager was still trying to charge full-price ($500) for the sub-par preparation service we received. Will be contacting corporate for a partial refund. Too bad they'd already been paid. 4) Leslie, the manager, was so condescending, imposing, and aggressive that it was like a Hollywood parody of the b*tchy female boss stereotype. We, mid 20's sole proprietors (and worse-musicians), were obviously inept idiots who were wasting her valuable H&R block time. Leslie went so far as to point two fingers at my poor fiancé's face and back toward her eyes in a "look at me" gesture when he glanced aside at me, already shocked at her rudeness. She verbally added "no, don't look at her, look at me". All I could think was,"did she really just tell a stranger where to look? Who does that?" A highly aggressive person. But! There's one redeeming star for the friendly receptionist and the very sweet preparer who made the mistake in the first place. She was well-intentioned and kind. I think the case was just a little too much for her to handle.
