Where do I start ??? I returned to Victor after many years . I was desperate to file before the original April deadline . His assistant took all my paperwork and information. He filed my taxes but I didn't see anything pertaining to my LLC After literally harassing him he finally "fixed" the issue yet I never signed any documents (amending forms ) which I'm sure I would have had too . When I asked what changed were made he said that one of the social security numbers were incorrect. Again nothing to do with my LLC. He attempted to charge me AGAIN $250 . When I reminded him and showed him proof that that I had already paid him all he said was thank you yet didn't answer my questions about the now amended paperwork. I've called and left several messages with no response. I've gone by the office and no luck . He is very unprofessional as well his secretary Susie . She totally ignored me when I sent her and showed her all my documents. That's were the problem started but Victor as the tax preparer he should have listened to me and checked all the paperwork I was providing him with . Now I'm waiting for the IRS to audit me because of his ignorance. It gets better He also did my son's taxes . Missed a huge chunk of income . Again his assistant didn't pay attention to all the documents my son submitted. Instead Susie attached tax property papers that belonged to Victor and not my son . This lady was arguing with me insisting that my son has provided her with property tax receipts. When we reviewed my sons taxes we immediately went back and he promised to fix the issue but till this day he has not done anything Not even responded to calls or emails . Though my tax repairer did the of preparing my taxes with expertise, without explaining to me what he was doing, he had me sign two "electronic signatures." I thought I was signing for my taxes to be filed with both the State & Federal tax services. He wasn't. Those electronic signatures were to "Agree to have my returns sent to AMERICAN EXPRESS SERVE," where they control my money, charge monthly fees, if I want to transfer $2500.00 into my bank (where I wanted it in the first place), I have to pay $17 (for each $2500.00, when it would have cost me $0.00 had the Tax Return come to me). Additionally, the "money is NOT yours, it belongs to American Express Serve--and, sure, you can buy things online, but there's a fee for that transaction! Take cash out an ATM and your charge $2.50 to $5.00 by American Express. Jackson Hewitt and American Express Serve have found a way to "Scam you/Fraud you" into turning over your Tax return to them. Absolutely awful and unprofessional service from Victor Ansari, who happens to be a regional manager. My family and I have been loyal customers of Victor for several years, but in this instance, his behavior was beyond rude and just flat-out malicious. I provided my documentation over a week ago before the 15th deadline. However, he rarely communicated the status of my return and when he finally completed my taxes the day after the deadline, he still had the nerve to put the blame on me for submitting my documents "late." I was concerned about paying a late penalty and when I asked if there was a penalty, he became complete angry and hung up on me. After calling the corporate office I found out he voided my taxes, even though I never asked him to do so. I attempted to text and call him back but his office just ignored my attempt. Honestly, I just wanted to be done with my taxes. It is very disappointing experience this after having worked with him before and being recommended by a family member. I can think of many scenarios for how he could've handled this professionally by simply saying they are too busy or something else. But he chose not to do that, and he acted in the most unprofessional way I could imagine. My advice: Do not work with this office or this man. Stay away! read more

Only 2 things are certain in life... Death & Taxes.. well thats how the saying goes right? Traditionally I save my pennies and file my taxes on my own... well with the help of Turbotax that is.. this year I filed quickly and got my return quickly.. it was suuuweet.. well that is until I realized I had to make a change.. OOPS! silly me.. I had suddenly found myself in unfamiliar territory.. what the heck was an amended tax form? so I decided to NOT try to do it alone but to get professional help... I called a couple offices and they told me amendments were not a priority and that I would have to wait... well waiting was NOT an option... so since I drive passed this tax sign on my way to work I decided to give it a try and call the number on the sign the man was throwin in the air like he just didn't care... I got an appt the same afternoon... It was fate!.. not only did they take me same day ..but they found an extra few HUNDRED dollars.. as in OVER 500 bucks that I had missed on my own. Now.... I have used the guys with the black box and the one with the statue many years ago.. I was used to getting little to nothing back each year and having to pay them for taking up space in their world. when you pay for a service you expect the best with all the information disclosed, well i got neither at this location. i use to pay $100 for my tax prep and seen an add on tv for walmart for only $38 well both my wife and i decided to go, so we ended up going to this location from Pasadena i told both agents i was there as a referral from walmart, the lady turned and told the guy that i wanted 38.00 service he told her "that's fine" and we continued at the end we where done and i went home. 2 months later i get a statement. now i called him again not only was he rude but he told me that i was suppose to pay in cash to get the $38 and that i will not get the difference. i recommend that you go els where for your tax services, they will not give you all the information read more
