Overall, the office staff was friendly, and the care I received was fine. I had a cleaning and a…read moremolar crown put in. The cleaning was as good as anywhere else. The crown was okay. Not super thrilled with the quality (after a few months, it still doesn't feel "natural" like some of the better crowns I've had), but functionally it gets the job done. My big gripe here is with their billing and their inability or willingness to hold themselves accountable for unacceptable billing practices. They gave me a "good faith estimate" on my crown that I paid up front, having already had all of my insurance information, but apparently quoted me as though I were in-network when they knew I was not (their words). I agreed to the work thinking it would cost around $900. (Paid in advance of service.) A few weeks after my crown, I got a bill for over $800. Turns out I was NOT in-network. When I discovered this and confronted the office manager with the information, I just received excuses: "it's not our fault you didn't know you were out-of-network", "we only gave you an estimate", "we made no mistakes", etc. Clearly mistakes were made. I was billed nearly double what they said it would cost when I agreed to the service and they refused to take any accountability. I would obviously have shopped around before agreeing to almost double that initial quote if I had known in advance it would be that expensive. After my initial discussion with the office manager, I was told she would call back about my proposed resolution. I've called back twice since, and have not been able to get ahold of her. This has ultimately led to me filing a complaint with the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. Will update this review with a resolution.

From the moment I walked in, the front desk person was super helpful and very cheerful. I didn't have to wait long at all. I'm just sad I can't remember everyone's names. The hygienist was so very nice and really made me feel comfortable. I shake a little and she didn't make me feel weird about it at all. She had great conversations, which took my mind off being nervous and it helped so much. Also she was super knowledgeable and explained everything each step of the way in depth. I also really loved the doctor. He Just had an ease about him and explained everything with no judgement. And Answered all my questions. I even thought the girls as I was checking out were super friendly and seemed actually happy to be at their job. Nowadays that's very rare. Again overall awesome experience. Saw Dr.Scott (is a dentist a doctor? maybe, idk they say so, let's not get in the academia conversation here of what degree makes you what) So, Dr.Scott was great (he has great teeth too), went in for a few fillings, and he was like Yanni playing 6 keyboards. He has been doing this shit for a min! Some may say he's quick cause he wanna see more people in the day, and maybe that's right. But im ok with having someone in and out of my mouth QUICKLY! They didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need (Invisaline, etc.), but I did need a night guard because my teeth were getting worn down from grinding. They worked with me and I have brought it in to get it adjusted, free of charge, no problem. Parking is free in. Garage which is great to have your car covered in this high heat. I highly recommend Dental Haus and Dr. Correll! I do not dread going to the dentist anymore. Every step of the process was seamless and well managed. His team was incredibly nice, efficient, and knowledgeable - they even offered to pick me up from the airport when I came for my first appointment and gave me restaurant/hotel recommendations (I flew into Nashville for his services)! He was able to conduct my consult virtually and made me feel at ease in every part of the process. I came to him because I had a huge insecurity about my two front teeth which had old veneers that were too large and discolored compared to the rest of my surrounding teeth in different lighting. Several years ago, I was bullied into getting updated dental work done by another dental office. They made changes to my smile that I didn't ask for (and I still hate looking at). They also did a terrible job and I had to get an implant a couple of years later. I found My New Smile and he clearly explained to me my options and his recommendations, as well as came up with an interim solution that made me feel confident in public during the process. Unlike the other dentist, I knew exactly what to expect every step of the way. And as someone that was uninsured at the time, the front desk staff informed me of options that allowed me to proceed without having too much of a financial burden. When I got my implant it was right around the time he was switching from using an outside lab to being able to do everything in-house. The fit of my implant was slightly off (which was normal) but rather than send it back, it was secure enough that I could wait until he had things set up to fix it in-house. I got busy and then the pandemic hit. During the pandemic I had to move across the country. Shortly after, some complications arose due to not getting to finish that last step. I found a dentist locally and Dr. PeyRay went really above and beyond working with them to come up with a solution that let them fix the implant instead of me starting over. He didn't have to do that and I am eternally grateful. I had a lot of bad experiences with dentists in Nashville, even beyond the ones that bullied me. I now have PTSD when it comes to dentists but everyone at My New Smile makes me feel safe and cared for. If I could fly back to Nashville for every cleaning I would.
