I am so so so thankful to Old Hickory Car Care Center. I took my car to another store in town when…read moreit started making a high pitched squealing sound, thinking it was my brake pads, and they told me that it was actually my ball joints and control arms on both my front tires. They said it was an urgent fix that needed to be done, and quoted me $1318. CRAZY. I decided to get a second opinion from Old Hickory after it was recommended to me by someone who lives locally. I dropped it off around 9:45 am, and by 10:30 am they had called me to tell me that they had found a slight crack in the ball joint boots, but that there was no slack in them or the control arms. The man told me that if it was his car, he wouldn't have anything done to it and that I could come get my car. NOT ONLY did they save me $1300, but in addition, they charged me $0 FOR THE INSPECTION!! The other car place was SERIOUSLY trying to take advantage of me as a college girl who came in by herself. I am so thankful to the workers at Old Hickory and will definitely be back if I ever have any car troubles at all!

This will be my last visit to King Tire. I would encourage everyone to find a better business to get your tire needs addressed.

The month before this happened, I had the unfortunate experience of hitting a deer with my Lincoln…read moreMKS, and the insurance company totaled it. Fortunately, I still had my 2007 Lincoln Navigator, which I had bought a couple of months earlier to tow my boat after being told the engine had been replaced with a rebuilt engine. When I had to travel to Jackson for a conference, I got in the Navigator and headed out. I live just east of Nashville, and by the time I reached Jackson, the SUV would not go faster than 65 miles per hour, even with the gas pedal pushed all the way to the floor. It also used an entire tank of gas just to get there. Because it was the weekend, no one was available to look at the vehicle until Monday, so I had to stay in Jackson an extra day. While searching online, I found Luke -- and in my opinion, he should walk around with a halo over his head. I am a senior citizen, and I have lived all over the country. I can honestly say that I have never in my life met a man as knowledgeable about cars, and as honest, as Luke. I only wish he would move to my part of the state. He spent almost an hour showing me on his computer exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. In that short time, I learned more about cars than I thought I knew. After he explained everything, I made the decision to replace the motor with a new one. Luke and his wife even drove me home. During the engine replacement, he sent me pictures of the entire process and showed me that the person I bought the vehicle from had installed a used replacement engine, not a rebuilt one as I had been told. I cannot express my appreciation strongly enough. I am truly grateful to Luke and his wife for their kindness, honesty, knowledge, and fair treatment. They helped me at a very difficult time, and I will never forget it.

BAD COMMUNICATION!!!…read more I always take my vehicle to Northside Auto Service to get my oil change and never have a problem service is always good. I have on occasion had my brother pick me up and we get breakfast, but not every time! Today I took my car for an oil change I was the first customer there and told front desk that I was running to get breakfast and he said we will call you when it is ready and I said thank you! I returned and they had not even touched my vehicle. The front desk worker told me that I had to be here in order to receive service. The worker NEVER explained that to me! That should been explained instead of tell me that they would call me when it was ready! There was no apology for the miscommunication or anything! If that was a new policy all employees need to know the policies so that it could be communicated with the customers! That is bad business! I would not be so upset had I at least would have received an apology! I guess my business means nothing to them!
