Towed my vehicle from a spot that didn't have a no parking sign, and improper signage from the entrance I used. Said they had a contract with the company lot it was towed from, and the company stated they do not have a contract with Jack's. I'm exploring all avenues to legally hurt them as much as possible. The man I spoke to was very rude, I asked to resolve this out of court and he basically told me to kick rocks. So instead of the reimbursement of the towing fee, he will be paying my court costs, and a predatory towing fee. I am a reasonable person until you wrong me. I have the ability and resources to take this as far as it needs to go. If anyone parks in a dealership parking lot after hours, I encourage you to do the same so their license will be suspended. read more

They are the most ignorant, uneducated, and unprofessional people. No manner, no common sense. My spouse was having a medical problem, and that's why we parked outside for 10 minutes, and they didn't even try to listen to us. Started cussing at my spouse for no reason. Stay away from this business. Don't waste your time. read more

They obviously have no idea how to tow an AWD vehicle. They used a wheel lift to tow an awd grand cherokee srt. When I called them out on it they decided to "help me out" and drop the vehicle where he stopped instead of at the yard. They then proceed to tell me that this "wasn't their first rodeo" and that was how they always tow an awd. Well then they have no business at a rodeo and should stay off the horse. There is obviously a reason why they have such a poor rating. read more

If I could rate this at 0 stars then I would. My Aunt was in a car accident on wednesday and this company had towed her car. Insurance has been trying to get ahold of them since then. They claim insurance hasn't called when that is not the case. We have been calling everyday to get the car picked up and they refuse to answer the phone. We got someone to answer on friday at 4pm and he said "Well we get a lot of spam calls" to justify not answering the insurance company and then says "Well, we close at 5 so there's nothing i can do today" which is just ridiculous. We finally got them to answer today (5 days later) and the man who answered was VERY rude and unprofessional. My Aunt has her insurance company on my line while we have Jack's Towing on her phone and as my aunt is once again trying to explain the situation he cuts her off and says "Are you just calling to argue?!" this whole experience has been awful. This is the worst tow truck company i have ever had to deal with. They are overpriced and rude. read more

Not only did they tow my vehicle(even with appropriate parking pass) just minutes before they closed and would force me to pay a overnight fee the next day. The parking permit was clearly in my car when i recieved my car and to find that my door handle was broken. Im so upset with this business all i could do was pay and leave. It was a horrible experience. I cant even open my car door with having to crawl through the passenger side. Of course this company wont take ownership of that read more

I wish there was a 0 Star option, this towing company takes advantage of towing any car that can, any loopholes they can take advantage of. No integrity what so ever, I paid for a spot in my parking spot but since I didn't have a "STICKER" they towed it anyways in the middle of the night, and to top it off they are charging an arm and leg to get it back. There are so many better options for towing in abilene much rather go through them. read more

I can't rate them any lower. The driver that I had to deal with was extremely rude. He wouldn't let me talk and he called me a liar. Worst company ever. read more

I can not even give these guys a star. My son came home from college late at night. All the guest parking was full, so he found an empty spot. Within 3 hrs his truck was towed by these guys. No warning nothing, mind you there are no towing signs. When I called the kid who answered the phone was so disrespectful. Rude to say the least, I would be embarrassed as a company to have my staff talk to someone the way I was talked to. $300 later I got my sons truck back. Right before Christmas, these guys are ruthless. They take advantage of people. read more

Ridiculously overpriced, "lost" property from towed vehicle, aggressive and combative owner. What else is there to say other than Its clear why their business isn't listed on Google anymore, I am sure the reviews there were terrible, as they should be. I would recommend literally pushing your car home before calling Jacks Towing! One star because zero isn't an option. read more

They are in a small town going to any places They can find cars and they are towing them charging people the maximum amount everyone in Abilene have a problem with this company. Anyone who has came across this company have a problem with them. They are very ruthless they hang up in your face they don't have great communication skills, all they care about is money we need this company removed out of Abilene. They are a bad stain on the name. We need this company out of Abilene leave. There are other tow truck companies in this city that are doing a great job and treating people like humans and not praying on innocent people who don't have money to give them. This is one of the companies that just need to leave. read more

Needs a "0" rating. Jacks Towing just screwed over a world-class track star from a college in town who was away representing our city, college, and country at a track meet in another country. The Mesquite Square apartments just put in a new law about parking. This athlete just got into town to pick up his "new parking permit" but arrived when the office was closed. As he is heading to go move his car, Jack's Towing in backing up to tow his vehicle. He runs to the vehicles and explained that he just got into town and was trying to get his permit. They are closed. I was coming over to move it. Let me go get my keys and come move it please. The worker for Jack's Towing said: Ok, no problem. While the athlete went to his upstairs apartment, the worker took off with the vehicle. Just like that. It's going to cost him $300 to get the car back. I'm not sure what kind of business Jack's Towing and Mesquite Square Apartments have going. The athlete mentioned that the worker smelled like he had been drinking. There is something not right about this kind of business dealings in Abilene. Jack's Towing may be good at coming to your aid, I'm thankful for that. But don't turn your back on them when they are trying to make a buck. NO integrity here on someone's part. read more

Jack's Towing & Recovery - on McGee Street. Be very careful dealing with these guys. - Towing Near Me - Abilene, Texas

The owner of the company never contacted me until a week after my impounded car sold. He messaged me on Facebook and asked for my keys? I read the law. I don't believe their efforts are within the Texas statute. They could have been reasonable and let me know my car was impounded? Lowlife business in my opinion. Karma read more

My truck was towed by this company(rightfully so) BUT the person who towed it told us the wrong address to pick it up from. When we realized we went to the wrong one we called and they told me we had 20 minutes to get there before they "get rid of my truck". we finally get the the right place and the sign on the front lists the prices for the service( none were even remotely expensive) and that they take card, BUT we were told it was $300 and that it had to be all cash. The owner of this place is dirty and a thief. i DO NOT recommend to anyone. read more

I would give them a 0 star rating if possible. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with for any company. Hard to get on the phone and when you do you have to deal with his horrible attitude. My bike was there because of an accident and insurance claim. They would not release it to me. It was there for over a month and they threatened to auction it off. Do NOT deal with Jack's Towing if at all possible. Worst company to deal with. read more

Our driver Tyler was going to tow my boyfriend's car when we realized what was happening. We rushed over and he DEMANDED we pay a drop fee even though the car was not hooked up to the tow truck in any manner AKA illegal in Texas. Said he needed $125, my boyfriend handed him $120 and he hoped in his tow truck as fast as he could and sped away. Didn't leave receipt, phone number, anything. Probably ran away so quickly because he knows what he did was theft... read more

Absolutely the definition of highway robbery here!!! I Bought a new car and I couldn't get my parking permit off the old car to put on the new car to park in the covered parking at my apartment complex (it just ripped to shreds) I was going to call the office first thing this morning for a new parking permit. This company towed my car with paper plates after one night! No warning or nothing, and now they want $317 to get it out after only having it for less than 6 hours!!! Piss poor business practice and highway robbery..... stay away from this company!!!! read more

This is ridiculous. To have to spend either $184 cold hard cash or $200 in debit/credit just to have my car removed after being towed without my knowledge or with any warning out of the parking lot where my apartment complex is at is ridiculous. This towing company is bullshit!! They are very rude and not understanding! My truck got towed without warning. They are very sketchy and it just work out of a little shack. DO NOT USE THEM!! They are robbing people of their money and they don't care at all!! read more

I got a notice that my car had been towed. I called to pick it up he said it would be 2 hours before he could get here. The sign says they have 1 hour to release the car. I'm a disabled vet and my mother is also disabled in a wheelchair. Called jacks on 10/02/2022 at 8:45pm. So they can come to timber ridge apartments to tow a non- handicap person from our handicap spot. Waited a hour no one came. Called back was told he was the only driver and would be here soon. 6:30 am still no tow truck. Even when their place is only a couple miles from where I live. Had to have my son come to help get his grandmother and her wheelchair in the house and come back to the far place I had to park to help. It bad enough that someone would take a handicap person parking when not handicap. But not to have the people that are responsible for fixing the problem never show up. That's bad business. Jacks towing is the worst. Called them back again at 6:45am no one picked up. Right after they called me back. The guy I talked to was the same I talked to the night before. After I was told that he was the only one working he told me he sent the job out and does not know why the other guy had not come. So if he was the only one working why am I waiting on another driver that never showed. When I asked he said he remembered talking to me the night before and stated I told you I'm the one working so what do you want me to do about this non-handicap car parked illegally in your spot. He was very rude. An gave so much aditude I had to hang up. Don't use these guys they are worthless. If I could give 0 stars I would and from. Polite, understanding, very professional. Quay made a tough situation easy to deal with, thank you.

If I could give this man 0 stars I would. Not only does he work out of a sketchy place that's smaller than a literal shack, he's rude and inconsiderate. He towed my car on a friday afternoon, without a warning, from the apartment complex he lives at. Then, he made me pay $300 to get it back, after making me wait 3 hours. tonight I witnessed the to truck driver hurass this guy for letting people know that the parking lot they were going to park in was a no parking zone after business hours and while he was hurassing this guy he kept talking about how he owned the property and that the guy was trespassing when their were no signs saying so if I could give them a no star rating then I would but the gentleman was just informing the signs that were posted literally a day ago so people would know not to park their anymore on top of everything the guy who was harassing the person kept saying that he would fight the guy as he recorded the gentleman who was just trying to help our fellow citizens who dident know and thing better on top of everything all the signs are posted where they can't be seam unless you walk up to them all this company is trying to do in make a quick buck on other peoples misfortune they should be shut down in my opinion because if it was me who was getting recorded and told I can't step in the property by someone other then the owner of said property I would of with out hesitation beat the breaks off of the guy and let the world know that they are not worth the time read more

This company is classless. They were so rude on the phone when I had simple questions following my friends car getting towed.
