It's a lounge for First British Airways customers located in Terminal 5 at London Heathrow. The most premium feature of our visit was being able to dine in the private pre-flight dining booths. This is basically a restaurant-type experience. The food (we ate breakfast) was good and the high partitions in the dining area gave a nice sense of privacy. The service was top-notch and this was the best part of visiting The Concorde Room. After eating, we camped out in the lounge for what was thought to be about an hour, but turned into 3 hours with multiple flight delays. Good news is that the lounge is nice and does offer some outdoor dining as well, so there was plenty of natural light, but the lounge could've benefited from more partitions and more privacy. The decor is fine, but lacked the elevation and sophistication of other first class lounge products. The part where The Concorde Room loses a star is in the bathrooms. They are rather small, gender-neutral restrooms with poor lighting and they really felt like something you would've seen in just a regular terminal. Nothing luxurious about the restrooms whatsoever. Overall, The Concorde Room definitely delivers in the dining realm, but loses its luxury focus in other aspects of its execution.

There are so many lounge options in Terminal 3 and BA's "home lounge" certainly lives up to…read moreexpectations. It's a bit more cozy than their T5 lounge and much more creatively crafted, and can be a good way to spend an hour in comfort here in Heathrow. Right at the entrance is access to their first class spa and showering facilities. As you enter the space, there are multiple individual lounge chairs resembling a home office that wasn't heavily utilized. This is likely due to the fact that all the wine and refreshments are deeper into the lounge. Perhaps they should reconsider this section. The lounge offers a great hot bar and plenty of wines to choose from for your everyday traveler. Coming here for breakfast means you can make yourself a proper English breakfast and quench your thirst with a can of ginger ale. The later isn't very English but something I like to do myself. The lounge is long and well lit with natural lighting creating a comfortable environment. One item of noteworthy is that their kid's section also has a PS4 and other gaming system that you can play with while you wait! Last time I was here, there was only one young lad playing so had there been an opportunity, I would have gotten myself a few rounds in. Overall, a great choice to stay for an hour or two in T3 if you have access. BA's products are overall very good and it's nice to see that their lounges are always well maintained.

I came here from the plaza lounge after seeing pictures online and noticing that they had more food options, haha. And I was right! They definitely had much better food, I wish I'd gone there earlier than 7:30pm! There was an Italian section which had pasta, marinara and funghi sauce. There was also another hot foods section which had green beans (went well with everything), parsnip puree (this was just okay), Tilapia in tomato sauce (quite large filets of tilapia! I'd have savored it more, but I'm not a fan of tomato sauce), rice, and some great butter chicken! The chicken was perfectly cooked, so soft and just fell apart so well. I can't even! Even the curry was really good, I was pleasantly surprised! This was a good meal! There was also a salad bar (which even had crumbled cheese unlike the other lounges I've been to), the snacks included a cheese board with 3 different cheeses (!), some meats, sandwiches, some meat, and crackers too. Their desserts looked really appetizing - carrot and spices cake, pound cake, and a pie - and I had a hard time resisting it! The bar area was a little small though, and got crammed when too many people all went around the same time. Appreciate the bottled water! They had good WiFi, it didn't flake on me even once in the 3 hours I was there(unlike the Plaza Premium WiFi). They had a variety of seating options too, and it was so nice and spacious. I loved the open seating setup and it didn't feel like people were just invading your privacy. Wasn't too crowded either, and perfect to spend a lot of time there. The staff didn't seem like they cared if you were there longer than 3 hours.

We used to drink in the Dowager every Sunday - both pre Norman (Bill-the-perpetually-puzzled and…read moreBetty) and post Norman. Norman spent a good deal of time (and no doubt someone's money) refurbishing the pub. It is clean and 'pretty', but as has been pointed out, characterless. The Sunday crowd was largely 'older' folks (40+ I'd say, many quite a bit older - including a pair of old dears - must have been over 90 - who always wore knitted hats and gloves that didn't fit), yet the decor is very 'trendy wine bar'. On the up side, there is a lovely, spacious pub garden. My daughter, in Bill's day, used to be given permission to climb the Bramley apple tree and take home whatever she could carry. There both paved and grassy seating areas, and it is fenced off from the road, so it is fairly safe for children (apart from children who climb the apple tree, of course). The Dowager serves food, and has a reasonably busy (if elderly) Sunday roast trade. I've eaten there a few times - the food is good and wholesome, if sometimes unadventurous. All in all, not a bad pub, but I wouldn't hold it up as a 'typical' British pub, and wouldn't (now) travel to get there. If in Teddington, I'd probably choose the Adelaide.

Newly refurbished garden/patio area is well finished, and a great place to spend a quiet summer's evening. Haven't tried the food since Andy has been around, but it is very reasonably priced. Go there and support a great pub.
