First off, the ribs were a standout in terms of taste; they were tender and flavorful, literally falling off the bone. However, they arrived in a pizza box, sitting on foil, and were ice cold. I believe they would have retained more warmth if they had been wrapped in foil or placed in a proper takeout dish. Given that it was only a half rack, it should have fit comfortably. On the brighter side, the mashed potatoes and gravy were as delightful as always. Every time I order them, they're consistently delicious. The turkey and roast beef platters were also warm and tasty, which I appreciated. However, I couldn't shake the feeling of being misled by the portion sizes. It seemed like they were trying to create an illusion of abundance by stuffing four slices of bread under the meat. This wasn't just the case with the turkey platter; the same trick was used for the roast beef platter. When I ordered, I explicitly declined the bread option, thinking I was getting a straightforward platter, not an open-faced sandwich. Instead of a generous serving, I felt like I received less meat than I expected, masked by the hidden bread. So, while I enjoyed the flavors, I can't ignore the feeling of being a bit deceived. I'm left uncertain about my next order. Perhaps I'll reach out to them directly to discuss my experience. I understand that times are tough, and the costs of ingredients, especially meat, can be challenging, but I can't help but feel a bit fooled and/or misled by all the slices of bread under both the Turkey & Roast Beef meat (4/5 slices under each pile of meat, for each platter!
