Food was terrible today. Purchased at 3:52 pm. Fried chicken, coleslaw, green beans, biscuit. Old as 11:00 am it seamed. Hard, dry chicken. Biscuit small and no taste, Coleslaw hot, and flavorless and had only mayo in it. Not sweet. It even had a red tint to it like it, not properly made . It had sat out, with no refrigeration. The temp is 77.8 degrees. Someone needs serv safe training and needs to keep track of food temps after 1 pm. I was so disappointed. The white woman mgr should have known better. She must not of used a timer, correct recipe for the coleslaw when training, and didn't teach someone how to make a biscuit, and the green beans were getting old. Couldn't finish anything. . Now I'm sure the left overs will be served at dinner too. I've gotten food from her shift before and she needs some more training on food quality, I don't think she understands it. The African American mgr seems to run a better shift. The food is always good and hot when I get it. Hopefully will get better! Thank you read more

Where do I begin. The manager and a worker we're yelling at each other. We ordered and paid for 2 biscuits but only got one. Ordered cole slaw but given fries instead. I'll definitely take my business elsewhere. You should too. read more

To follow up. This is still the worst Jacks ever. I went this morning and tried to order a steak biscuit and they did not have any. I ordered other food. Hash rounds was 1/2 empty. I thought a serving size was 8 oz. At this location Jacks a serving size is 2oz. I'm going to sum it up as undereducated staff, bad management (Kia), and lack of compliance with all other Jack franchises. I also took the initiative to call 2 other Jack's for clarification. The past 2 times I've come to Columbiana this week dealing with drivers license stuff I've been here going through the drive through and I've had above average experiences here. The employees have been nice, my order was correct, and the line went quickly. The employees were all wearing masks correctly, but the only bad part was that bathroom wasn't very clean but it also wasn't the worst. read more

If you want to receive cold food that isn't even your order, this is the place to go. We've tried to go here time and time again and it just keeps getting worse. I don't know what happened to this place. They used to be great. we went so many nights a week during ball Season. Now I wouldn't feed my dogs from here. read more

We were in there on Saturday Dec. 5th and the manager was standing there looking at the worked and yelling at them loud enough for everyone to hear. There were 16 people on the clock and service was slow had 4 people at drive thru and no one helping the one on the front counter. They had set a person's pancakes and biscuit and gravy on a tray and it was getting cold while waiting on the rest of the order. Because of management service has gone down in the last few months. My husband was treated very rudely at this restaurant by a young female employee while the manager watched and laughed. She actually accused him of eating 2 pieces of chicken and then lying and saying she only gave him 3 pieces when he had paid for five. He had returned to the restaurant to get a new order because of the mistake they had made. When he left the order there and asked for his receipt she told him he had taken it out of the bag! He intends to take them to small claims court. Her behavior was ridiculous but for the manager to laugh about it was even worse. So glad Taco Bell moved in right across the street! read more

My Dad and I were in here to grab a bite. They were busy, so I understand the stress, but that didn't excuse the cashier walking off in the middle of our order. Later, when I held the door open for her as she was leaving, she didn't say thank you. Ugh! So rude! I complained and received two coupons. That was great, but later, the manager of the restaurant called me to insist several times that the cashier was a "sweetheart" and that they were just busy. If she had just called up and apologized, I would have been pleased. I don't know if she realizes this, but the defense of the cashier was tacky. Jack's Hamburgers, one of the southern classics, has recently opened in Columbiana, AL where the recently closed Taco Bell once stood. Based on quality of food alone I would give this establishment three stars, but I cannot help but feeling that I have paid too much money for the food I have received on more than one occasion which brings my rating down to two stars. Their burgers are good but nothing spectacular, while their chicken is a step up due to the secret spices they add to the mix. I do enjoy their seasoned fries and though and it's hard to resist one of their "Orange Dream" milkshakes. Bottom line is this: There aren't many burger joints around Columbiana and I would always recommend a trip Jack's Hamburgers over McDonald's any day of the week. Just be prepared to pay a little higher than you might like for a "basic" burger. read more

I've never had a problem with this Jack's before. Everyone has been nice to me, no bad cashiers, no rude managers, and the food has always been spot on. The chicken is always done perfectly, and while it's expensive, it's a franchise; you can't blame the prices on this particular location. Food is excellent, just be prepared to pay a little bit more for this particular brand of fast food. read more

Horrific service. The woman working the register was dropping chicken then picking it up and playing with pretending it was flying. Over 15 minutes for a simple order and when the food was finally ready she had forgotten to make the milkshakes because she was too busy trying to entertain the other five customers that had been waiting. read more

Went by for bfast. Asked for Well done bacon. Got fat. Took it back they put it in microwave. Didnt turn out. So gave me more fat. Bought $5 bfast sandwich full of fat. But big picture whole order for family was over $20. Chicken bis was ****also. read more

We have been going to this Jacks since they opened and food has always been excellent. However for the last month they have went way down. Chicken so cold and hard it's been inedible. Breakfast no better and this morning milk was warm and sour. Manager assembling go boxes and took forever to get waited on. Threw away most of the breakfast. Will no longer go to this location. They gave me the wrong bag in drive-thru. I called and explained, they said the would write my name down and they would take care of it. Well 3 days later im back in town the manager didn't write my name down and somewhere amongst the many stops I made in my vehicle I threw my receipt away. They wouldn't honor their mistake over a $6 meal. read more

Decided to "Go back to Jack's" after getting sick on their chicken a month ago. Ordered breakfast through the drive through this time. Ordered a Deluxe with Bacon. When I got to the office and opened the box, the order came with bacon and sausage. The sausage had a bite (yes, it was shaped like teeth marks) missing from it. And NO hash rounds were included in the order. I will NOT go back....EVER. read more
