I've had nothing but great experiences at Dr. Li's clinic! I had to go for sciatic nerve pain and other lower back pain, and every single time, Dr. Li has been kind, patient, professional, and helpful. I always have walked out feeling refreshed and relieved, even if it's just temporarily. It can get pretty busy and crowded, but I guess that goes to show how popular and professional Dr. Li is. read more

I am a personal trainer so I have a pretty good understanding about the benefits of muscle training. However there are certain things that you cannot do Ina gym especially when it comes bones, joints, and adjustments. I been coming to Dr. Li for a few years now. I really appreciate the service and support he provides. My back feels better because of him. Him and his staff are welcoming and friendly. I recommend this place to my clients all the time. read more

I've been coming on and off here since 2018 and I love Dr. Li and Diana. I really feel cared for and looked after by both of them. Diana is always kind, attentive, and professional. Dr. Li always makes me feel welcomed. He listens to where I'm having pain and ensures I am good and straightened out. I live in the South Bay and work in Santa Monica, and there's no one else I'd rather see than Dr. Li. I always leave feeling better than when I came in. I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment. read more

In my childhood, I used to see another chiropractor because my parents thought that was the way to cure my asthma. It did not improve my asthma at all, but in my adulthood, I went back to the same chiropractor for back pain. Comparing Dr. Li to my former chiropractor, I can see that Dr. Li's uses additional methods that my previous doctor did not. I hadn't realized that my former chiropractor's techniques were a bit dated until I came here. With the other chiropractor, my back pain and tightness sometimes resided somewhat after the treatments, but sometimes it did not. I had became skeptical about chiropractic treatments and stopped going entirely. More recently, my back pain became worse than before so I decided to try again. I am extremely lucky that I chose Dr. Li. I was looking for someone with high Yelp ratings, convenient location/hours, and someone in my health insurance provider's network. After a few sessions, I was told that he is not in my insurance provider's network so I pay nearly 3x more per session than I would with another clinic in my network, but I still insist on coming here than anywhere else! His care is worth the price. If your insurance doesn't cover chiropractic care or has a high deductible, his session fee is comparable to other clinics. Dr. Li is honest, sincerely cares about his patients, and his methods are highly effective. My other chiropractor was often successful in getting my parents to buy one special, exclusive product or another. On one of the first visits to Dr. Li, I was asking him about a neck support pillow that I wanted to get again and he told me was currently sold out and that some people find the pillow useful while other people end up hating it. He let me try a pillow form one of the rooms and I said it felt kinda weird, and he told me I probably shouldn't buy it but if I wanted it, I could find the pillow for a comparable price elsewhere. I couldn't believe he just prevented himself from making a sale. That is one of the first moments I realized I could trust Dr. Li. During the visits, I sometimes blab about life, work, and random events and Dr. Li (and his staff -- thanks, ladies, particularly Diana!) actually listens, remembers what I told him, and follows up on later visits on how things went. I sometimes don't go in for weeks at a time and he still remembers despite having so many patients. I am really touched that he puts so much effort into getting to know his patients and cater to our needs. Thanks for the occasional pep talk! I know many of Dr. Li's other patients have severe pain due to car accident injuries, etc and I only have back pain but Dr. Li and the staff really go out of their way to take care of me. I remember calling in for an appointment and they insisted on getting me in the same day because deemed my mild back pain urgent. Also, at one point, my doctor's referral expired so Dr. Li was not getting paid by my insurance. So for the 2 months or so that I hadn't realized my referral expired, Dr. Li lost out on a lot of potential revenue. I told him about this and said I'd get it renewed asap. He told me don't worry about it, keep coming in for sessions, and get the new referral when I can. It's clear he cares more about his patients than a profit! I really appreciate that they never rush my visit. I am a serious Type-A, go go go, high-stress kind of person who will often overlook my own health to get more work done. My chiropractor visits are one of the few times I actually relax. I always end up leaving feeling physically and mentally better. Thank you for caring so much and treating me like family! read more

I've been here for 4 times and all my visits were great! I love that I never have to wait around. Sometimes doctors appt can take up to hours even with an appointment because the doctor has multiple appts at a time or they run late. But I never have to wait more than a couple minutes until been seen by the doctor. Dr. Li also follows up about how I feel after each visit and make adjustments to my next treatment accordingly. read more

I had a back surgery for a severe stenosis. While the surgery helped on the right side, the surgeon didn't operate on the left as he didn't want to destabilize the joint. So I still had pretty intense sciatic pain on the left side and numbness in my foot. After doing PT, I was still having pain. Rather than a second surgery, I opted to try Dr Li. He seemed very knowledgable and caring, and did ultrasound as well as a decompression table. I immediately saw some results, but now after around 3 or 4 months of twice a week treatment (along with PT which has now been discontinued), I'm at around 90% of my previous functioning. Dr Li is patient and realistic, and his staff are great. Highly recommend. read more

Great place for DOT. Dr. Li is very professional good at what he does. I was amazed at the service I received. I will be back.

Dr. Li has saved me when my neck has gone out and now my back! I love Dr. Li. He puts in the time. I've been to many chiropractors who simply adjust you - but Dr. Li actually massages the muscles and relaxes them before adjusting you so that the muscles don't pull the spine back into place immediately following the adjustment. I have old disc injuries that flare up and with it, my muscles around it. The more common issue is my muscles spasm trying to "protect" the disc injury. Well, the body is an amazing machine but this isn't always a useful mode to continue functioning in modern life- muscle spasms can be excruciating. Dr. Li addresses the muscles either through electrical stimulation, traction, or traditional massage. Afterwards he proceeds to adjust you. I've had chiropractors adjust me and it hurt. I've NEVER experienced that here. I've never had a bad adjustment. Recently, I was to a point where I was having difficulty driving because of a random and sudden neck injury. It was about a month of pain before I finally broke down and tried to locate a chiropractor. He saved my neck and given I fly regularly, this was hugely important for my job given how uncomfortable those seats are on a hurt neck! I'm so lucky to have found Dr. Li and now, so is my husband. We, regrettably, have kindred back injuries but now that we both visit Dr. Li we feel like we are in much better hands. I cannot recommend Dr. Li enough. He's gentle but effective! Also! He takes *some* insurance plans! So check if he takes you insurance and give him a try. His hours are very specific so check on his website before planning to go. Also, he does have online booking. read more

One of the most genuine, helpful drs I've met in LA. Not to mention his ability to listen and heal. I would highly recommend him. His staff are wonderful. I've been going to Dr. Jack Li's Temple City location for the last three years and have found myself, literally and figuratively, in good hands. This is a chiropractor who won't just give you a good back treatment - he will always take the time to listen to your concerns if you have any more serious matters, separate myths from facts, and answer your questions thoughtfully, thoroughly and honestly. This guy is a true professional in every sense of the word - he is as measured and calm in giving you manual therapy as he is when explaining procedures and dishing out self-care advice. Plus, the guy is also always great for a chat about sports! I highly recommend Dr. Jack Li. read more

Dr. Jack Li, and his team are kind and helpful. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely wants to see you get better. He provides all types of treatments, not just adjustments. He staff is also top notch. Diana is wonderful, always polite. Diana and her crew takes the time to get to know their patients. They make you feel warm and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone with back pain. Parking on Thursday is pretty bad, however Dr Li reserved a few spaces in the adjacent parking lot for his patient to avoid parking tickets. read more

Dr Jack Li and staff to the rescue! I injured my tailbone and called his office and they got me in right away! Their compassion, efficiency and courteous customer service is worthy of a 10 star rating. Normally you have to wait to see the doctor even when you get there on time for at least 20+ minutes but not with Dr Li! They get you in right on time. Half my family comes to him and I highly recommend him! He has amazing bedside manner and his staff is extraordinary. Thank you Dr Li! read more

I started coming here after I had a car accident. My attorney recommended this place and I'm glad I chose it. The accident led me to experience extreme dizziness, back and neck pain. After seeing Dr Li 3 times a week over the course of a month, I feel so much better. His staff, Diana is professional, clean and kind. She makes sure all the equipments are disinfected before the patients are in. She's very helpful when it comes to making appointments, super gentle and patient during your treatment session. I feel very fortune to have been referred here. I highly recommend this office read more

I came in 3 months post op surgery from my L-5 S-1 where my lower back to my leg was a huge issue. He put me on a Flexion and distraction therapy that helped long term with my back and hip! Also, I have had serious neck and shoulder pain. He used electric shock therapy, which felt started off painful in a good way! After going twice a week for the last two months my pain is completely gone! I highly recommend going to Dr. Li!!!! read more

I'm a 69 yo reasonably fit man with chronic back and neck problems. I searched around last year and found Dr Li nearby, saw he liked golf as a hobby and tried him. I've been to many different Chiropracters over the years and Dr Li is the best! He listens to my complaints then addresses them careful and effectively. I then had a minor car accident causing "classic whiplash" and Dr Li worked me through that wonderfully. His staff is always very friendly. He has magic strong neck massaging hands! Highly recommend read more

AWESOME staff and wonderful doctor. I came to doctor Jack Li because I have pains after working out on my feet, shoulders, and elbows. The doctor used laser, ultrasounds and electrical current machines worked on my issues. In addition, the doctor sent me emails of exercise routines that I can use to stretch and strengthen my muscles. It's really a wonderful place that I strongly recommend for anyone looking for a chiropractor. Thank you Doctor Jack Li. read more

One sentence take-away: Dr. Li is *amazing*, you should definitely visit him for your chiropractic needs! I started visiting Dr. Li's office about a month ago when my upper back started hurting. The UCLA doctor I visited didn't know what was wrong. I was unable to sleep and the constant pain was demoralizing and making my cry! I'd only been to one chiropractor before and didn't have a good experience. But when the medical doctor did nothing but prescribe pain meds that didn't even ease my pain, I was willing to try anything! Thankfully my husband had visited Dr. Li before, so with his referral and gentle prodding I made the appointment. I described my symptoms to Dr. Li, and after only looking at my back for a moment, he knew *exactly* what was wrong. (Some ribs had slipped out of place and needed adjustment. My muscles were also extremely tight.) After that one visit, my pain was so reduced it felt like he had performed a miracle! I could finally sleep! I was simply amazed by his knowledge of the human body, such that he knew exactly my problem and could fix it while the medical doctor at UCLA did nothing for me. Because I had left my back misaligned for so long, it took several visits to get it consistently pain-free. I am just so so thankful that whenever I have a flare up, I know exactly where to go--it was so scary during the period when I didn't know what was wrong! Why I'll continue to visit Dr. Li: *Trustworthiness* Dr. Li has never tried to sell me anything. He has only performed the necessary massage and adjustments to make me well. The chiropractor I visited before told me I had all these ailments, like a straight neck, and that I should buy all of these things to fix myself (load of crap). *No gimmicks* Dr. Li doesn't try to keep your business by selling you "discounted rates" if you schedule appointments in advance. The other chiropractor I tried did this, and left a very sour taste in my mouth. Because Dr. Li doesn't do this, I trust him that I only need to schedule appointments when necessary. He's not out to rip me off. *Excellent knowledge* Like I said before, Dr. Li knew exactly what was wrong with me, immediately, and was able to fix it accordingly. The previous chiro I visited just told me I had a weak back, and adjusted every bone in my spine. Dr. Li knew which exact ribs were misaligned, and adjusted only those. He's never adjusted my neck, for example, because it's unnecessary. It's another reason I trust him. *Excellent technique* Dr. Li gives amazing massages...Painful, but the good kind of pain! I feel safe when he does the adjustment, and it has always been very effective! *Patience* I'm the type of person that likes to know *everything* as detailed as possible (I'm a scientist)...I like to know what exactly is wrong with me, what exactly each procedure does, what exactly I should be doing at home, etc...So I have a lot of questions when I'm in the office! Dr. Li is not at all annoyed to answer ALL of my many questions. He patiently and thoroughly explains anything I want to know. *Professionalism* Dr. Li has a great balance of professionalism and care. He's very thoughtful about your privacy. I don't feel like a numbered client, but a patient that he cares about getting to a healthy place. *Awesome staff* I especially love Diana--she's so sweet and always greets me cheerfully! Since you might be in pain when you visit a chiropractor, it helps make you feel a bit better when the person behind the counter treats you kindly. *Flexible* I've had sudden flare-ups and have had no problem scheduling same-day appointments to get it taken care of quickly. No penalty if you have to cancel, either. I could go on... The entrance is on the side of the building, so not on Santa Monica Blvd. itself. I hear that the door is locked after 6pm, so just be prepared to call the office so they can open the door if you arrive later. read more

I have known Dr. Li for about 3 years now. The first time that I got to know him was through my attorney. After I had gone through a pretty bad car accident, I was in lot of pain and literally I couldn't even go to work. Personally, I never had experience with Chiropractor before Dr. Li, so I didn't really know what to expect from that point. But, Dr. Li is very welcoming, comforting and encouraging, he kept telling me that it will take sometime to heal, don't worry too much. He is very patient with his patients and does not try to just 'milk you' like many practitioners out there!!! He talks with honesty, he provides great professional service and is very thorough with explaining the cause of your symptoms and what you will feel after wards, and he will let you know how many times of treatment that he is looking forward to at this point and he make sure that you understand his concepts or point of view. When it comes to Chiropractor, people often think "you get your bones cracked," I think that sounds pretty "painful," but Dr. Li is very gentle, especially when comes to car injury, he told me that internal injury will take longer to heal, and every time when he worked on me, I felt very pleasant. After I was done with my treatments in about 2 months, I still go to Dr. Li for regular chiropractic maintenance. And I think he really knows his patients well, that he never gives "hard" pushes on the old injury spots. Dr. Li provides patients with two convenient locations, one is in Temple City and the other one is in Los Angeles. AND I STRONGLY and HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. read more

Would consider myself a chiropractic skeptic. My experiences with chiropractors have always featured either (1) shady business/billing/upsell practices; (2) dubious results; or (3) both. Dr. Li is truly unique. Within a handful of visits he was able to largely resolve a lower back issue that I've been dealing with for nearly a decade. No other chiropractor was able to get those results and that alone warrants a 5-star review. But what I think sets him apart is that he's super straightforward and easy to deal with. I don't get any BS upsell, sleaziness, or sketchy billing practices. I've never had a single issue and I think that's particularly rare given my past experiences with other chiropractors. The guy is just honest, really good at what he does, and exceedingly easy to deal with. Genuinely both a pleasure and relief to be a patient and anyone looking for a chiropractor would be lucky to work with him. read more

One of the best chiropractors I have ever been to! I have a knot under my shoulder blade and he is one of the only people who can get to it. My session with him is normally 1 hour long. Dr. Li is a very sweet yet professional chiropractor. He has really strong hands! At times I feel like he's ripping me apart but he's really good! Professionalism: I prefer to only wear the gown with pants/skirts during my session. The gown is really lose and sometimes I think you can see my side boobs lol. It's funny how Dr. Li would try to cover it every time. +1 star for being professional! The Wait: There's no wait! Parking: You will need to find parking on the street. Do NOT park in the back lot. read more

Dr. Li is one of the most attentive, compassionate and knowledgeable doctors that i've ever encountered! I barely walked into his office 12/7/2020 in excruciating pain from an 8mm extruded L5S1 disc. The spine surgeon proposed surgery and no other options because of the severity of my pain and size of disc extrusion but I decided to do my own research and give my body the benefit of the doubt to heal itself. Dr. Li listened to my concerns, he was honest and set realistic expectations. I trusted in him and gave 1000% coming in 2x a week while also doing acupuncture and after a month added pool PT as well. The process wasn't linear and it wasn't easy either but I was motivated to stick to the treatment plan to give it a chance to be successful. Whenever I would have a bump in the road, he took it into consideration and would tailor my treatments. Every session he starts off with a check-in where he actively listens to your concerns and then does his magic and wahla! Whatever I complained about was more than likely no longer an issue by the end of the session. There are few doctors in LA that have this decompression machine and it was definitely a gift to my progress! Although I still have more healing to do, my back pain has reduced dramatically, I can walk and drive without restrictions, my mobility and strength continues to increase and overall I feel the most supported and aligned then I've ever been at 30 years old. The ladies that work alongside him are amazing and always polite--they do whatever's necessary to ensure you're comfortable! I am so grateful I found Dr. Li and I would recommend him to anyone that needs chiropractic care. Once I am fully healed, I will continue to see Dr. Li to ensure my spine remains aligned and healthy. read more

Dr. Li is a rare gem in a city full of Chiropractors who are more focused on the clock than the specific well-being of their clients. This man is thorough, and I mean THOROUGH. He took my vitals and worked through a lengthy massage session before my actual chiropractic adjustment. This allowed me to get the most out of my neck adjustments. Afterwards he applied some muscle stimulators to my back, and I finished my appointment with 15 minutes on a massaging therapy table. I walked out of Dr. Li's office feeling three inches taller. And his assistant/receptionist is very informative and sweet as pie. I'm sold. Going every week until they turn me away. read more

After a year of back pain, and barely able to walk without pain, I found Dr. Li. I asked for a non-painful procedure and he suggested electrical stimulation. I had some experience with it, as a part of acupuncture. His way is without acupuncture, and after three weeks, I am walking without pain for a longer period of time. My only other choices from Western M.D.'s were cortisone shots and surgery! I'm thrilled with Dr. Li's treatment and have gone down from 3 to 2 times a week. I highly recommend him, not only for his excellent work, but also his kindness and concern for his patients. read more

This man is a LIFESAVER. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He starts off with massage and gets works on kinks ( very strong hands and gets the kinks out and knows the anatomy of the muscles) I have been going to him for years and have the straightest back. He also does cupping, ultra sound, etc...and at the end he puts u on this roller to straighten the back. He doesn't just put u on the table and crack your back and the appointment is over in 5 min. Believe me, this man is an ANGEL. And he is such a kind person on top of that. I have referred him to so many people who went to Chiros and could not get any results and with him they did.
