Wonderful being under Dr. Levi's care. It's rare to find a specialist who is so genuinely there for you when you need help. I sat in his exam room engaging with united healthcare to authorize orthotics for nearly 2 hours. His staff amended in and out saying the need the room but Dr. Levi asked them to be patient. He doesn't need to work, you a tell that from his success and all the celebrity letters. He does it for the passion. He's also pragmatic, isn't 'hand-wavy' with new tech, and focuses on fundamentals. For example, he used traditional hand casts for orthotics vs. lasers. Gotta say, I like these. The only minor area for improvement is the administrative side; the office a digital experience for tracking billing, viewing receipts, or managing records online. It's a bit of a manual process, but honestly, for the level of care and expertise Dr. Levi provides, it is a very small price to pay. If you want a podiatrist who actually cares about the 'why' behind your pain, this is the place to go. read more

Very happy to have discovered Dr Levi. After breaking a bone in my foot, my own doctor referred Dr Levi and a visit to his clinic was a game changer; Dr Levi really went out of his way to inform and help me understand what I needed to do to help in the healing of this fracture and very much felt that this was a doctor who practices the ( lost?) art of Medicine. Went to see Dr. Levi both because I have incredibly flat feet and what having increasing pain in a toe that I needed to figure out. He was GREAT! We figured out the source of the issue (bone spur) and he talked me through treatment plan options. We ended up doing a cortisone shot + orthopedic insoles (that he molded himself) and life has been SOOOOO much better since then. HIGHLY recommend!!! read more

Dr. Levi is literally the most attentive doctor I have ever had. I needed a large, painful lump on my pinkie toe removed and he personally spent an hour over two phone calls to United Healthcare convincing them to approve the surgery (he's in network with UHC). The surgery revealed that it was actually a gout tophus (extremely rare for someone who has never had a gout flare-up) and as the sutures were healing I actually got my first two actual gout flare-ups in that toe, complicating the recovery process. Dr. Levi reached out to check on me twice a week and even had me come in on a weekend so he could personally inspect the healing process and rebandage it himself. He also advised me on gout medications to request from my G.P. He clearly still loves being a podiatrist and truly cares about the welfare of his patients! read more

Dr. Levi is the best! I've had an ingrown toenail on my big toe for several years. I'm with Kaiser, so I had them 'fix' the problem about 2 years ago. But after only a few weeks the pain returned and the nail grew in crooked again. So.. back to Kaiser to start this ridiculous process all over again. Lo and behold, the same result. Cut, wait, pain, cut, wait pain. Finally, I was fed up and figured I would just find the top guy and pay out of pocket. I don't know what the magic of Dr. Levi is, experience, good mojo, who knows. But now, about 6 months after seeing Dr. Levi, I can't stop looking at my big toe. The nail is growing back the way nature intended it to! I mean, I just can't believe it. I have had a severe pain in my left foot which occurred whenever I bent over or got up from a chair. I saw 2 different chiropodists over 5 years ago and they both told me I had bone damage, get new shoes, and there was nothing they could do about it. I was resigned to my fate until recently I noticed it responded to being massaged, so I decided to visit a chiropodist again. Dr Levi took an X-ray and much to my surprise he said my bones looked fine and I had Arthritis. He then told me could fix it. He gave me a shot in my foot and the pain went away. Not only did he solve that problem but for some mysterious reason my balance, which had been deteriorating, suddenly got much better and I feel 10 years younger. There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for my wonderful doctor, Michael Levi. When I got to Dr Levi I had incredible foot pain in the sesamoid region of my right foot. I had been through five months of treatment, trying everything from a walking boot, to a hard cast to a wheelchair. I felt like I had aged 30 years and was unable to work or walk. When I walked into Dr. Levi's office I was greeted by the kindest medical team and happy to meet their emotional support puppy, Sebastian. The appointment was incredible. Dr. Levi told me he had seen my condition before and that we were going to treat it with shockwave therapy. He is the first doctor who had a real solution from his own experience treating sesamoiditis. After the first shockwave treatment I was able to walk out of the office. Dr. Levi told me we were going to get aggressive and we did! My foot felt about 75-85% better than when I walked in. That was followed up by 2 more treatments about ten days apart. Each time my foot felt better. I have to say I didn't always follow Dr. Levi's suggestions about activity and did a hike up a large hill that was many miles. I'm grateful that I was able to go back for a couple of small shocks after the main treatment. My foot is almost back to normal after only 8 weeks of treatment. Lastly, Dr. Levi made himself available for questions and concerns throughout the entire process. The main things I learned from Dr. Levi are: 1. Listen to my body 2. Love what I do and it isn't work 3. I can overcome any obstacles or naysayers 4. Study John Wooden's pyramid Dr. Levi is an amazing human being. He loves what he does and cares about his patients. I am really looking forward to reading his book Wednesday's with Wooden and am sad I won't be able to visit my podiatry family as frequently since my treatment has been completed. read more

Probably the best medical experience of my life. Dr. Levi and his staff take extreme care of their patients from start to finish and they should be the standard for the entire healthcare industry. As soon as you walk in, the staff is warm and helpful. You feel like they are personally invested in your recovery. They are all good people with a terrific experience. I ended up needing a MRI and not only did Dr. Levi get me into a same day appointment, he took the time to call me after working hours at 8:30 pm (pm!!!!) to go over my results so I wouldn't have to wait overnight. Dr Levi is great! They can take X-rays at their office, so they can diagnose breaks quickly. They can also give relief for foot pain if you're having trouble walking. The doctor is super helpful. One time he even gave me cash for the cash only parking. Fortunately the parking takes credit card now., but still, what a guy! I tried to pay him back and he wouldn't even let me! read more

Had a nagging achilles injury for several months after years playing sports. Dr. Levi prescribed me a pair of custom orthotics (wearing them now) and treated me to a unique type of shockwave treatment -well worth it, since the injury is going away. AMAZING!!!!! I have seen I scheduled the appointment with Dr Levi, and from the moment I entered his office there was a much more personal and friendly treatment from his staff than I had experienced with the previous Doctor's office. I had a broken 5th metatarsal that was slightly displaced with a sprain. Double whamming! Dr. Levi, explained my injuries and answered all my questions thoroughly, his professionalism and confidence was reassuring and I must say he backed it up completely! From the moment I saw him he fit into an air cast which was easier to walk and be mobile. The cast was very supportive and stable. I loved how he understood me and took into consideration what I was trying to achieve. I can honestly say that I would recommend Dr. Levi to my family and friends and students that I teach yoga. I am back on both feet with my new orthotics and feeling STRONGER THAN EVER!!! The bone has fuse at an amazing rate thanks to Dr Levi!!! He made me believe anything is possible!!! read more
