I want to recognize an outstanding performer and honestly performers at this location I absolutely love the staff. I just wanna throw this out there, I noticed a particular night on Valentines day like around 6 or 8 pm? This employee was one of the night shift as cashier helping this woman who was clearly in a bad mood, determined to be angry standing with her phone and yelling at her man loudly all while being disrespectful towards the employee but he handled it under pressure and went above and beyond for her. Please treat your fast food employees with respect, they serve you fresh and hot food ready to eat to keep you fed and they deserve better treatment. Thankfully, the food was okay. Everything else was not the greatest. They have the stupid kiosk ordering systems. What a pain! Not only are we, as customers, paying for the food, but we are also paying with our time to try to figure out systems we're not familiar with and aren't very intuitive. It took so long to place an order for Dear Hubby, Sweet Granddaughter, and me that it was annoying. The only one who enjoyed the process was the 6 year old. Yes, the future will be hers and her generation's before very long! Even with the computerized system, the order was incorrect. We got the wrong dipping sauce, and didn't receive our drink cups. We weren't charged for SG to switch from milk to a milkshake. Didn't realize that until later when I was taking a look at the receipt. I would say that JITB is losing out with the computerized system. This is not customer service - it's customer torture! As for "ambiance", this location is sorely in need of a makeover. Fully half of the barstools in the main dining room area have their wooden veneer either partially or extensively peeling off from what's left of the seat. Not attractive, and could snag their patrons' clothing. All this "charm" because SG wanted either McDonald's or Jack In The Box, and we missed the one in La Canada Flintridge on Foothill. It took awhile but I got a refund. It started with the new kiosk system didn't seem to have salads available without a combo. Then at home...I see missing the taco chips on receipt? Surprisingly amazing service at this location. We are redoing our kitchen so a quick and easy meal is appreciated, but the level of professionalism has been a pleasant surprise. Tonight I had a great experience with Emanuel, he was easy to understand, polite and friendly. I asked him if he actually gets credit for the surveys and he said yes, his manager overheard me and mentioned how good of an employee he is. I tried using the QR code but it did not work, hopefully he and his fellow employees get credit for the level of service they provide. Every time I order, something is missing. The staff handling both cash and food don't seem to follow proper hygiene practices. I complained to the manager, and she apologized for the missing item. yesterday afternoon i stopped by my local jack in box to buy myself a jumbo jack combo with the coupon i had. i decided to write this review because when i received my combo meal the most basic ingredient was missing. that is how i know these employees at this location do NOT listen. as soon as i walked inside the fast food joint, i was assisted very quickly. the gentleman who was at the cashier position was taking my order and when i had given him my coupon for my jumbo jack order, the cashier asked me "would you like cheese on your jumbo jack?" and i said "yes please." - if you are reading this review PLEASE make sure to check your food and make sure it was correctly made before you leave the location. - my order was made very quickly and i didnt even think about checking my food to make sure everything was correct. i trusted these employees to make my order correctly, unfortunately. once i arrived home, i was looking forward to my meal. i opened the bag that my jumbo jack was wrapped in and noticed there was NOOO CHEESE!!!!!!! why ask me if i would like cheese on my burger IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PUT IT? its like these employees do whatever they want to the order and not actually paying attention what the customer requested. my burger was very sloppy made. at least the fries were good, i guess. i got really frustrated reason why i am writing this review. - one good thing about jack in box is that they dont charge for extra sauce like other fast food joints. - my review is simply to help other customers not make the same mistakes i did. lesson learned. read more

During mornings, the food can take up to 4 minutes to get done. During afternoons, it can take up to 5 minutes. During late nights, it takes up to 5 minutes to get orders out, even longer when it's a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. It's called fast food, not slow food. By the time the food comes out, it's not even fresh. The cashiers are either polite or impolite. If you're rude, you will be refused service. Don't come back because they don't need your money. Alexandra and Jason were AWESOME!!! Alexandra greeted me and took my order in the drive thru and I just got off at work at 330am. I ordered a Jumbo Jack and customized it: no cheese, no onions, extra tomatos, extra sauce of catchup and mayonnaise, and add an extra beef patty and that was it. Asked for my military discount at the window. I parked down the street on Sunland and my Jumbo Jack was AWESOME and everything I requested was in my burger and I was very satisfied!!! I did the survey on the receipt and added my reward points and saw an Oreo milk shake for free with $1 order, so I ordered online for a pick-up in the drive thru 2 tacos and my Oreo milk shake.
