Here is my two cents on Jack in the box... Thet were arrived in a timely manner by GrubHub.. I ordered a two monster tacos, a churros and an and the ultimate breakfast sandwich.. they all arrived in a timely manner still hot!! The only thing that was disappointed was the ultimate breakfast sandwich. The meat had got slight thinner and it was smaller than I recall as compared to 15 years ago.,... the monster tacos were filled much better as compared to the regular taco tasty but greasy the way they should be!!!.. I suggest you give them a try and they were still reasonably priced considering the times... taco taco .. Churros were sweet with cinnamon....... I didn't know the food here would be this good. The Tiny Tacos were the best ones. They were so crispy and tender, with the creamy avocado ranch sauce is even better. The onion rings were the best ones too. They were crunchy and tender. It also is well seasoned. The clutch sandwich wasn't really that good. it was dry, but still good. I did a mobile order, and I asked the cashier how to do the mobile order, so I did. The cashiers were pretty nice, but not really nice though. I had to wait like 20-25 minutes. The ambiance was just an original kind of Jack in the Box, but the walls were pretty colorful. This is how I rate it, but other people have other opinions than me, so if you guys don't like this place and disagree with me, that's good. read more

I wish I could say we ordered this at a busy hour or during their ultra late time but, alas, we were the only people in the drive thru and it was an empty dining room. Had 2 mobile orders with a friend today, my friend and I were at the drive thru told the man we had a mobile order and he told the man his name. I had to get in the drive thru which wasn't even that long of a line. But it's moving so slow that I had time to contemplate opening up Yelp and writing this review before even getting to the front. What's the point of ordering ahead if I have to wait behind other people that are ordering in real time, while my food gets cold and stale? Very very terrible customer service at this place. I usually ordered burgers at Jack in the Box at Monterey Hwy, the services are very good and speak very clear english. Tonight 02/21/2024 at 7pm, first time I came to this place at Tully Rd, the Mexican guy took my orders, his english was not good and uncleared. Therefore, I tried listening to his questions and still confusing; that's why I tried to ask him many times without attitude. Finally, I got my food. After that, I asked him to open the restroom door for me. He said "person in the restroom." At that time, just few people in the restaurant but I thought maybe just only one room inside and I waited around 30 minutes, the restroom still closed. I asked another service, she told me to come at the restroom door, she opened the door for me. When I came inside, I saw 2 restrooms and no one in there. Out of all Jack in the Box restaurants in the south bay, I prefered this location on Tully Rd., people there are very friendly, specially Mirella Guerrero, I've seen her accomodated the customers when the cash register was downed to keep the services smooth. At one time, I ordered Crispy Fried Chicken but I got Chicken Nuggets , I accepted the Chicken Nuggets anyway, while eating, Mirella Guerrero brought out the 4 pieces Crispy Fried Chicken, but I didn't accept its because I already full. (With a side of ranch and lots of hot sauce please?!) We placed our order via the drive thru. It didn't take too long at all which is all I ask from a fast food establishment. This was the Jack in the Box i grew up with. Every so often when I was younger my dad would treat me to breakfast here. When they tore this place down (years ago) I went into shock as I had no idea why at the time it closed down. Months later once they started rebuilding, came to find out they were replacing it with another Jack in the Box (thank goodness) and built completely brand new from the ground up. Since then business had been booming once more. New modernized fast food joint that serves good food. I prefer Jack over McD's, BK.. any of them.. anytime. For a location that was renovated not too long ago, it's disappointing to see that this place is not well maintained. After ordering our food, I went to the drink station to see that there were spills all over the countertop that were not wiped up. There were stray napkins that people had left and not bothered to put into the trash receptacle. When I went to fill up on ranch and ketchup, I felt my feet slipping on the tile floor. When I looked down, I noticed that someone had spilled some ranch dressing and it was smeared all over. If someone didn't know any better they could have easily slipped and face-planted on the floor. It wasn't until I walked over to the cashier to let them know about the spill that they came over to clean it up. When we sat at our table, I noticed that all around the edges, it was sticky! Looking at it closer up, I instantly saw the old food that was stuck between the grooves. It was as if the tables were just carelessly wiped on top without any attention to the edges. Gross. Luckily the bathrooms were fairly clean but if the management doesn't try to enforce a better cleaning policy with the employees here, this place will definitely be going downhill. read more

Some days the line is ridiculous and you're in the mindset of either stay and wait or go find an alternative fast food joint with shorter lines. Curly fries and two tacos is what I had ordered. We went an ordered 20 tacos and the cashier somehow heard 13 tiny tacos?! We ended up paying for both a lost of money.

When I visited this restaurant on 9/20/22 I received very rude and horrible service. A worker that worked the drive thru was very rude to me and disrespectful. I had politely told her that she forgot one drink she gave me 4 drinks when I ordered 5 when I let her know that I was missing one she rolled her eyes and told me to wait while slamming the drive thru window. After I had asked her to speak to her manager she again proceeded to slam the window and called me a bitch. When she went to get her manager. I was highly upset and let her manager know how rude her employee was and how disrespectful it is to treat people this way . Especially the fact I had 3 of my daughters in the car with me. This is not how you treat people. Especially since I am there spending money at this location. This needs to be dealt with on a higher level. This is not except able and not only is rude but gives this location a bad name. I will not be going to this location ever again . It's a shame considering I live 5 minutes from there however I would rather drive 5 miles to the next location and be treated with more respect than to take that kind of abuse from an employee that works there. I used to go here very early in the morning like 2 or 3 am. How do you give someone cold tacos when they are the second car in line at 3am? I went as far as two miles on the freeway heading home take the next exit go back, give them the cold food back. Another time I orderd some egg rolls.... and left I was really hungry you see. They looked like they were cooked but in fact they were medium warm and full of deep fryer oil like the fryer was working at a lower temp, even the container looked like it had an oil slick inside??? Surprisingly really good fast food. I'd rate it up there close behind Wendy's I got the Bacon Burger, and the quality of the beef is actually excellent. The meat is cooked and seasoned really well. Bacon is facon, but whatever. The burger also had lots of sauce: ketchup and mayo and other stuff, so much that it would ooze out when i ate it. Good bun as well. Another thing i like is their sauce selection and their new soda machine. They have the touchscreen soda machine with mello yello, and they have 4 kinds of condiments: ketchup, RANCH, bbq sauce, and TACO SAUCE. Good stuff JIB. Food is cheap and tasty.
