We had a wonderful experience here. The order was right, the premise is clean, and the food delicious. Our eight year-old daughter, who is the pickiest eater in the world gobbled down her meal. Our introvert teenager enjoyed the minimal social interactions. The warning signs about wet floors and multiple exit signs kept us safe. We enjoyed the lovely artwork on display and the view when you looked out the window. There were multiple soda options on the soda machine. The best part, we even saw a 100-year-old car parking out front. read more

The food is great for a late night drive thru meal. BUT... Why is my order wrong 30% of the time? I'm a native English speaker. So there's something going wrong on their side. For one they can fix their drive thru display and customers can see if their order is inputting correctly. 2nd maybe train their employee to repeat and confirm the order. I ask for a double jack, I get a jumbo jack. I ask for bacon ultimate cheeseburger with two tacos, I get a bacon double smashed jack and no tacos. Seriously? Carl's Jr across the street has never gotten my order wrong. read more

I went through the drive-thru an hour ago and ordered a nugget combo and a separate hamburger with *only* ketchup; when I got home, the burger had mustard on it instead. My son is allergic to mustard and pickles. I do not recommend this place at all; this is the third time I've gone, and they always get my order wrong--plus, I had to wait in line for 15 minutes. read more

Hit or miss Today I dealt with THE most disrespectful rude and unprofessional worker. I placed a mobile order for pickup and when I get to window I simply request a cup for water, when she hands it to me she says "next time tell me on speaker so you make it easier on me" as If im a burden or it's an reasonable request. I've worked in plenty of fast food to know that you don't say that when water is requested/// I've never had this when asking at window. So I simply asked her "is there a problem with me asking for a cup of water?" She then rudely repeats the same thing about making it easier on her. Awww so sorry sweetheart that you have to do your job and get me water so sorry it's such a burden to you, anyhow I tell her then- "I've worked in fast food and it's not an unreasonable request ." Then as I drive away she goes "what the hell?" As if I was unreasonable. So rude so unprofessional so childish. read more

We stopped there for a quick bite and it was very tasty. The food was hot and fresh and the restaurant was nice and clean.

I came here after work to get a late snack, it was only 2 snack wraps, and when I told them I had a mobile order, they gave me the wrong one, and a lady there told me to park up front so they can get my order ready since they said they didn't receive it, yet I was there for an hour, and everyone else was getting their food, and I just left disappointed, after that hour, I went to the Carl's Jr across the street, at least they got my food on time read more

You can't expect much from fast food restaurants. They have just ab okay spicy chicken sandwich but I do like their curly fries and jalapeño poppers. They do a better job on their sides vs the actual sandwiches. The service is good. I've only been through their drive-thur and it moves quickly. read more

This is soo disappointing and so annoying and I can't believe I trust enough to keep coming here and giving them chances to take orders correctly, I order 1 #22 and 2 hash browns with 1 small lemonade with an extra small sprite and I he charged my card with 2 #22 combos with large sprites with an extra large sprite and when I tried to give it back right away telling him this was not my order he said I couldn't get my money back and that I could just give out the extra and food drinks to people it's currently 12:56am this is so unbelievable never coming here again. read more

Jesus, this store needs alot of work. Been sitting at drive thru for 25+ mins on at Sunday 1am. Like how ??? People in the back were honking and yelling what's the hold up. The worker here was being so slow and takes their sweet time to prepare order. Seeing them talking on the side, not even doing their job is embarrassing. The manager and general manager needs to fix this asap and fire these people. I'm just going to go to another fast food place at late night and they can earn my money. It's a jack in the box what can I say. It was a quick stop for a little something to hold me over until dinner.

I was excited to try the new Ribeye Bacon All American. Well I'm still wondering what it tastes like. As soon as I got home and opened the box I knew it wasn't the right one. No lettuce or tomato like the picture. Turns out it was the ultimate cheese burger? Gross. My fries were cold. Service was mediocre. All chatty to each other and annoyed when i asked for a sauce. Well I did it need it because my cold fries went in the trash. I'll save my money next time and eat at home. Thanks for reminding me what I'm not missing. read more

Great spot for picking up food late at night. Service was just okay, they messed up on the order and didn't go back since it was late and drive thru only. Appreciate them being open, but it's typical fast food joint with better options in my opinion. read more

This is the Jack in the Box people in ESSJ go to when In-N-Out lines are too long and you need food late at night. Jack in the Box always serves. It's late night drunk food that hits the spot. With the pandemic, it's a welcome presence when you find yourself at odd hours and need yourself some quick no contact fuel. Order on the app, hit the button for them to prepare your order, and it'll be ready when you're in the drive thru. Admittedly, sometimes I do this and they're not ready and I have to go "park in the front" and I don't even know where the front is and we play this game where they have to find me. Just a mild inconvenience. Get the app for deals. TIP: Jack in the Box is always solid at 1am or later. read more

Very poor experience today, they don't want to give you any time to look at the menu I guess you should memorize it ? Then they couldn't understand the order and had to retake it at the window. Deceitful staff. I ordered a #6 combo. The woman taking my order asked if I wanted a medium. I responded that I would like whatever size was listed on the board (priced at $10.79). She responded that this was a medium. After I paid I was given a fairly sizable cup and when I reviewed the receipt i saw that the price for the #6 I paid for was $11.28. The woman noticed that I had a concern but left me without asking what was wrong. I had to flag down someone else to ask about why there was a price discrepancy on my receipt and on the board. He said he had to get a manager - which turned out to be the same woman that took my order! She came back to register and did not even ask me about my concern - she refunded me the difference. There were no questions, no surprise, she didn't even look at my receipt or up at the board to do a quick evaluation of what was wrong. I expected some kind of exchange that would tell me this was an honest error. She couldn't even look me in the eye. She knew what she did was purposefully misleading. Check your receipts if you come to this establishment folks. If the manager on duty will do this to a patron, you can bet this is systemic in the whole staff. read more

The business is usually terrible and they do not take care of their customers. My mom and I went here yesterday to have lunch. I have never had a problem with Jack in the box and is one of the few fast food restaurants I still eat at. Well what happened yesterday I don't think I will be going back to any Jack in the box at all! My mom and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combo. Both our sandwiches tasted horrible and rancid like the chicken had been left out. Luckily we both only took a bite and realized it was bad. Thankfully the manager gave my mom a Jumbo Jack for replacement. He offered me a replacement meal as well, but I don't eat red meat and I had lost my appetite so we left. They always forget food and drinks for their orders, and rush you out of the drive through. When you are ordering in the drive through and the person can't understand you, they obviously show how frustrated they are... even when you say it loud and clear. Poor service. I have to give one star based upon yelps rating system. After the service tonight I will not be returning to this business. It's unfortunate that Jack in the Box can't seem to hire solid employees. While relaying our order, the team leader this evening, Delores, couldn't hear us so we spoke up... She must have misinterpreted our voice level as being rude and immediately jumped to the conclusion we were being rude. After that she was inappropriately making comments to the other employees about us, at which point the other employees specifically Tyler, began to join in on the bashing without even understanding the situation. I understand you may deal with a lot of drunk patrons and rude customers at 3am on a Friday/Saturday but when there are two sober ones who just got off work trying to simply get a bite to eat its really uncalled for. The sad part about this review is it won't change anything about this situation other than losing two customers, the good part is it might help us stick to our meal plan. When I was completely taken back about the situation I asked to speak to a manager which happened to be the team leader Delores, which I was completely blown away that a manager would be acting like this towards "valued" customers, and the asst. was Tyler, wow, two managers treating customers like they were the issue. So, when all was finished, I parked and entered the establishment to see if I could clear up the misconception and was greeted with the same attitude as we had gotten at the drive thru window, still no change in outlook other than the conclusion that maybe there had been a miscommunication, hence the reason for my longest yelp review to date. Thanks but no thanks. read more
