I stopped here to pick up something to eat around 2:30pm because I hadn't eaten since 8am All I wanted was a burger with no sides (fries and drink). I was surprised to see an employee at the speaker box because the line wasn't long. But maybe the speaker box was inoperable. In any case I told the young man that I wanted an ultimate bacon cheeseburger with no mayo. He said, ultimate cheeseburger, no mayo. I repeated myself with ultimate bacon cheeseburger, no mayo' But I guess I didn't realize he still didn't get it right and called in an ultimate cheeseburger, no mayo. So at the window, I guess I assumed the young lady got it right (but why would she) when she handed me an ultimate cheeseburger,no mayo and took my card. I drove away and while waiting for the red light to change, I took out my hamburger and took two bites. It was then that I realized there was no bacon in my ultimate bacon cheeseburger. So I returned to Jack in the Box and went through the drive-through line again for the young man was still standing. I gave him the hamburger and told him I had ordered an ultimate bacon cheeseburger. He proceeded to tell me that he repeated back to me, Ultimate cheeseburger, and that I agreed. So he told me to wait a minute while he called and talked to the young lady at the window and then told me to go ahead and drive through to the window, which I did. I handed the young lady my hamburger she told me it would be $1.09 more and I gave her my hamburger and $1.09. She gave me back my hamburger with my two bites out of it and bacon strips in it I drove away. So now I'm wondering, was this really my fault or was it theirs? I have to admit my mind was preoccupied with the passing of my beloved dog yesterday and maybe that's why I didn't hear the young man repeat to me incorrectly. The order that I gave him multiple times. Maybe it's my fault that I didn't hear the young lady tell me the incorrect sandwich. Maybe I was just too preoccupied morning the loss of my beloved dog. So I took the hamburger home and didn't eat it. When I go back to this Jack in the Box again? Probably not. I felt that I was wrongly treated because they accuse me of not paying attention to them when they repeated the order back to me when in fact, they were the ones that did not pay attention when I told them exactly what I wanted not once but twice maybe three times that I wanted an ultimate bacon cheeseburger with no mayo. How can you get something so wrong? In case you want to know where this Jack in the Box is, it's on Sanderson in the city of San Jacinto right across the street from the Dollar Tree. read more

The grandkids and I were heading over to Indio for several days to meet up others for a family weekend vacation. On our way, we took a break, had a bite to eat at this location. There were several people inside the dining area, place look modern, somewhat clean. Trash cans were full and it was around 1pm. Staff were friendly and polite. Our order was taken in no time and our order didn't take long. Busy kitchen. Food was good. Clean counter, clean bathroom, clean outdoor. Lots of parking read more

This location was expensive plus the food wasn't good enough to eat the burgers were old and dry I gave it to my dog he even questioned it It's sad now days 36 bucks down the drain shit I could of put the in my grand kids. FRIENDLY Late Night Service! Stopped for a quick bite after not eating dinner earlier and the Loaded Breakfast Sandwich hit the spot. The hash browns at Jack in the Box are also a guilty pleasure of mine. Everything tasted good! I went after 10pm so there wasn't a line in the drive-thru. The Jack is pretty lonely so I wouldn't recommend eating in your car as some creeps may walk around it, who knows? The guy at the window was patient and polite, the staff vibes were good. My only complaint is that we had to park up front and wait for our food even though we were the only customer. Not sure how that happened but it did, our order wasn't large. I'll be returning as this is a tried and true location! read more

Okay this place has some workers that seem to be fed up with working and with life. Every time I order fries I ask for a fresh order with light salt. This is what I get all the time. So when I go inside to have them replace it they get mad. They always say it's fresh and it's clearly not. Avoid this location. read more

The food was good. But it was so loud in here. The drive-thru order is just blaring. The music is all high shrill female voices really loud. I just found it very unpleasant. I know restaurants do that to keep the homeless out but I don't see any homeless around here so turn the music down and turn your speakers down for the drive-thru read more

I'd give a negative 3 if I could. The staff is incredibly rude. Stood there in like waiting and all the employees behind the counter were just goof off. Acted like they didn't see me, even though they did. Stood in line for about 10min, and walked out. How to improve? Hire staff that know how to treat costumers and not treat the place like it's a playground. read more

Don't come here they don't care about quality or service and it starts from up top. The manger here is a lady with glasses is very disrespectful and rude. I was retuning the food that I just ordered because of the lack of care and quality of the food. My burger patty was literally folded in half. Please choose how you spend your money as the consumer we have a right to receive what we paid for nothing less and nothing more. That's all I'm saying and this jack in the box is here to take your money and give you substandard food and service. I'm sure this is not to the standards of Jack in the box. I was a life long customer but I'm done. I'll be spending my money at the other competitors for now on. Also if Jack in the box brings back the big cheeseburger I might come back. I realized I was missing food when I got home. I went back to ask for my burger . They said they had it and wanted to give me my food cold . Not good. After ordering then pull up to window, oh sorry no onion rings, didn't SHE tell you no onion rings? (Pointed out it was him that I placed the order with) He says, didn't I ask you if your order was correct on the screen? (No, you said pull forward and you'll have my total). Oh, well, no onion rings. (Ok, I'll have a large fry). Oh we are out of the large container for fries,( guess giving me a med and a small and charging me for a Large would have really confused this genius). Also, as I was pulling to the window to pick up I saw the poster for cheesecake so I add on a cheesecake to which young man says sorry no cheesecake how about a churro? No thank you. Kid was polite enough but little frazzled. I didn't complain, things happen. Then I get home and the tacos aren't cooked well enough. Come on owner manager whoever, your review stars are pretty low. Might be reasons why. Do better. I'm afraid to come back to this location, what next time? No jack sauce? read more

I always go to Jack in the box on Ramona, but the wait is always TOO LONG! I came to the one in Esplanade about 12:30 am on my break and man were they quick, and I got the freshest crispiest wings! I even made it back to work on time, I know where I'll be coming now. read more

If you try to use the 25% off your first order from downloading the Jack App you'll be told this location doesn't accept corporate coupons and you'll pay full price. Ordered one of their new Padillos (subs) today. I asked if it was hot, was told "yes". It was served ice cold, rubbery bread and bacon, and bone dry. The nastiest Sandwich I've ever had. When I got home and called to complain about it, the manager told me that the bread is "toasted", I told her it was cold and rubbery, she insisted it was "toasted", This went on stupidly Back and forth, until I had to threaten to drive down there and show her how it REALLY was. She was stubborn to the point of being stupid. Does the pic below look TOASTED? Does it have mayo or any kind of dressing? Yes, because I put some on when I got home, then fed it to the dogs. Guess I won't be going there again. They couldn't care less. Like throwing money out of the car window. My advice, don't order anything from this store. It won't come as they describe, anyway. This was at around 1pm on Tuesday. read more

This is the second time I've been to this location at the drive thru and they forgot to give my card back. What's even worse is this time they used my card for a second transaction. The shadiest part of all is when I went back to ask for my card they apparently couldn't find it, that is until I told them I'm pretty sure I never got it back because I got charged for another item. When I said that, my card was found immediately, luckily I got my card back and a refund but I feel like if I never checked I would've had a lot more charges on it. read more

After a ridiculously rude manager at the KFC down the street on Florida ticked me off, I ended up going to Jack-in-the-box on Sanderson/Esplanade instead. The drive through window clerk was friendly and everything seemed pleasant: however, when I got back to the house, I realized I didn't get the taco sauce I had asked for. So, I called on my way back to get the sauce. The manager, Jennifer I think, said they'd just make me four new ones, since they were probably cold. When I got there, they made them and she even gave me a large soda cup to get a soda for my trouble. She even remembered me from the last time because I was wearing a Veterans Suicide Prevention t-shirt the previous time and she had asked if I was in the military and I remembered her son is also in the Air Force.. Overall, it was a really good experience and I will be back. It's always busy here, but that's a sign of good food. Such a big difference in customer service. And this is not the first time I have had a bad experience at that same KFC. read more

Terrible service and thief's. Never gave my wife her debit card back when we went to the drive thru. When she called to see if they had it they confirmed they had it but the manager was rude and said it wasn't her issue and not her fault when we didn't even blame her. When my wife went inside manager was rude and even cussing at my wife. Need to fire this person read more

For several months, this place has been a bit off key. Used to be superb in service and mistakes were bare to none maybe, 2 years ago and beyond. But now it's pretty bad. Self awareness is the big issue. Don't be surprised if you pay cash, and they forget to give you change back, this Ive caught 6 times this year alone. Also, they WILL NOT read orders correctly that well. Menu says big box on an item, they'll little it without thought, like that Popcorn Chicken. Will also forget your drink alot. Like I said, Self Awareness is a huge Problem here. Definitely miss one old manager cause she made sure things were done right. Investigating every bag before letting anyone take it to the customers. read more

I live right around the corner from this Jack in the box and I love the way the staff treats me here. My order has lately just been tiny tacos, but they are always hot and given to me with a smile. This was a decent jacks but we see new people working there now. Young lazy kids. . We walk in young family not treated with any greeting. We order. Card reader doesn't work. No coffee. We sit down food comes out way too fast. Breakfast jacks are burnt. We over hear girl saying just to take the ham out of an already made sandwich and put the sausage in. Coffee is to be made fresh and never comes out. Food has an after taste as if it's been out for maybe 10 hours. Hard old disgusting food. My babies wouldn't eat it. My two year wouldn't eat it. As a true foodie I can't give fast food places a 5-star rating but this place is trying really hard!! I cannot believe how amazing our experience was from start to finish! First off the restaurant is so clean inside and completely remodeled! It's the nicest JITB I have ever seen! When we came in we were immediately greeted by the cashier and welcomed! That was great! We haven't been to JITB for a while so we asked for suggestions and she ran down some of the new popular items as well as some of her personal faves! I think her name was Brittney (sorry if I spelled it wrong). She was outstanding! Very nice and patient while we picked through the menu! Our food was fresh and yummy! It's of course cheap fast food, but it was presented on trays and brought out to our table! However I will say that they have much better buns than they used to and there was care put in to the presentation of the food! We complimented the cashier on our way out and made sure to let them know what a great job they are doing! I'm sure they don't get that much, as people never seem to let you know when you're doing something right....only when you screw up and they try to tear you down! Keep up the good work ladies!! read more

every time I get a burger from this location it's never fresh, the prices go up but the quality doesn't, you pay almost $6 to receive a burger that's been sitting on shelf for who knows how long, because it's to much of an inconvenience to make fresh, I worked fast food and after so long food should be disposed. .. read more

(Only about this location and management) as someone who knows this place very well I can tell you for a fact that most workers are great but due to the mistreatment they are subjected day in and day out from management they just lose their smiles their motivation from getting yelled at to being forced to stay late and not even being given all of their breaks and forced to sign a paperwork that says they get all their breaks. Being forced to work when you're sick even though you're puking and when you ask to go home they yell at you and say no just go on a break and when you refuse to do that they'll write you up even though you beg them to ask a manager to go home because you are sick. When their managers are on vacation if you so much as even try to call off you'll get suspended no matter what. When a family member dies, well it isn't their fault and you can't inconvenience them by having even a day off to grieve. They allow team leaders to harass the workers and they don't correct their behavior at best they change the workers schedule to stop hearing the complaints. I really hope they have gotten things in a better place since I quit but talking to former coworkers I highly doubt it. They would go as far as they could to make a dollar even when we legally should have closes, for example having no hot water or the water getting turned off and on when it was being worked on. Good luck to the current workers. I hope you are actually being treated like humans. read more
