I got the Breakfast Jack combo $6.45 for a Breakfast Jack, hash brown, and a large coffee, which honestly is a solid deal. The Breakfast Jack is good, always has been. Coffee's good too, can't miss there. The hash brown though super greasy. First bite felt like putting Vaseline on my lips. I was hoping it'd be crispier, but nope same soft, oily vibe I remember. Excellent service from this location, food is always fresh when you order online or in person. I visit this location at-least once a week for early breakfast or late lunch. Sometimes they do get busy; especially during rush hour. To my surprise around 1/2am on the weekends; this location gets super busy at the drive thru because of the club goers and people from the bars. I really like the Jack in the box app for specials and rewards; so easy to earn rewards. Downfall is that there's a few homeless/druggie people hanging around the area; just be careful and always be vigilant. read more

I just got done from teaching this evening. Michelle at the El cajon Blvd. location in city heights took my order tonight on 11.13.2025 and noticed my support animal who is 18 months old. She immediately asked if I wanted a "pup cup" for my hard working animal. I never have experienced someone so in tune and wanted to help me with my order and noticed my support animal. I came here to really just give a review for the new boba milk tea!! It was good! The milk tea was tasty as well as the boba. I don't think I would pay 4.30 though for that size. Actual boba shops give you a lot more boba and more of your drink for almost the same price maybe just a tad more. Also we didn't get that much boba in our drink! I have two complaints. First, whenever you are at the window and you pay, they have you drive around to the front to wait for your food, even though there may not be anyone behind you. My guess is that cars are timed in the drive-thru and they do this to make their numbers look better. It's a first world issue, but it's still annoying. My second complaint is that I believe they overcharge for their chicken salads. They make you pay for a salad without chicken, and then they add a second charge for chicken added. I used the drive through and ordered a sausage breakfast jack combo that's about $7.20. She said that will be $14.40. I asked why so much ? She said that's for 2 combos. They also had several mobile call in orders ahead of me. No harm no foul. They did not have ketchup and napkins on all the tables, this in part separated them from a four star review.
