Pulled up into the drive through line and told the worker I had a mobile order. Checked me in and got in line. Very easy process. When I arrived home, I GORGED on the food I had received with buffalo, bbq, honey mustard and the best sauce honey roasted bbq (feel free to debate me on best sauces if you please.) We did a mobile order and literally received a different person's food. I called the customer service line and they stated that it would take 2 to 3 days to hear back from a manager. I decided to drive to the store to resolve the situation from Hillcrest. Upon arriving and talking to a manager, they offered to give me a be our guest card which is essentially a free sandwich. I then had to ask for additional compensation which I'm more than deserve after my wife not being able to have her sandwich and us not being able to enjoy our breakfast together. The manager then decided to refund a single sandwich instead of the entire meal just to make up for the wrong doing. I would highly recommend against this location and I'm not surprised that the rating is as low as it is. read more

Spent the week in San Diego for work, and yes, I probably should've gone to get tacos or something (which I did one night), but it was late and I was craving my trusty and favorite Chick-Fil-A dinner. First timer at this location. The parking lot was packed at lunch time. No big surprise there lol. The drive through line unorganized until someone came out to direct traffic. I was happy to see him come out because many customers just pick a line and sit there without looking at all available lanes. They had three lanes for ordering and then it turns into one for pickup. It didn't take longer than 5 minutes to get my food once ordered. The line was moving. My order came out correct and hot. No complaints on food! Star removed because parking lot and drive through speed before guy came to help. I wish the franchise owners could choose locations with more space and a better planned drive through. read more

CHICK FIL A @ Mission Center One way only to get into this CFA, so be sure to have your maps opened up! Drive through is a long line and can even be as long from the main road, i'd recommend parking and walking in to order. I've always ordered online and scan my table number to dine in. So, I waited for my chicken sandwich for over 10 minutes, after it said that a team member will be giving my food shortly, I watched a staff member walk with a bag (hoping it was mine) he walked EVERYWHERE, I mean inside and outside looking for the table to give the food too. I didn't assume much because it could be someone else's, until he scrambled 3 times to find the table number. After seeing this man walk back and forth, I go up and ask if my food was ready since it had said a couple minutes ago it was. Look and behold, the same guy who had my food gave it to me and said that the table number was 28. I then show him my phone that clearly said the table was 38 and even the receipt on the bag that said 38, he just didn't care enough to read. Anyways I got my food, pretty annoyed that the service here SUCKED, atleast from that worker. I got a spicy chicken sandwich, it was on the soggy side (since the guy literally just held it EVERYWHERE in the store besides to my table), still overall great flavor and I wanted to get out of there. I haven't had Chick-fil-A in a long while and since Friday was National French Fry Day, I thought I'd have some of their waffle fries. After watching Superman at the local theater, i figured it would work to order some dinner from this location. I was originally going to go through the drive-thru, but seeing their weird system of ordering from three separate "lines" that were blocked off from the east side entrance, I decided to go inside and order instead. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, something I had not had before from this place. It was recently named one of fast food's healthiest items so I figured that would do fine. Then on top of those two items, I figured I would try out the chicken strips too. The sandwich was fine. Adding honey mustard BBQ sauce to it does make it tastier. This location has gone downhill tremendously. The order takers are painfully slow now--what used to be faster than In-N-Out has somehow become slower than In-N-Out, which says a lot. Sitting in a drive-thru line where a single order takes 10 minutes is ridiculous. On top of that, the traffic flow is a complete mess. Cars are constantly cutting in from the backside because Chick-fil-A refuses to block off the left side of the lane. It's been going on for years and they still haven't fixed it. I waited 25 minutes in line, only to watch someone cut in, get a faster order taker, and leave with their food in under 10 minutes--before me. This is straight up B.S for a company that built its name on efficiency and service. Came in with no orders on the shelf and they only finally called my order cause the shelf was full as well as 3 other peoples orders who were also waiting patiently while being ignored. Food and service are consistently excellent and I especially like their drive-thru system. One busy night, four employees walked out of the sliding door pick-up area to hand out prepared orders to the four leading vehicles and off we all went at the same time. Smooth and quick operation. It moves the line along efficiently. The only other drive thru I know of with a similar method is Dutch Bros Coffee. Now, if they can have a line solely for mobile order pick-up, that would be awesome. Such a bummer when I end up behind a vehicle placing multiple separate orders in-person. The service here is always super efficient by having 3-4 lanes during prime busy hours. Chick fila definitely have the drive thru service down. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and brought it home to turn it into a quick and easy salad ! With the holidays being centered around with so many sweets and carbs, this was definitely refreshing but have nice juicy crunchy touch to the salad. While waiting through the drive-thru, you get to go through a tunnel of Christmas lights which had a nice, cozy vibes to help pass the time. After spending $35 in breakfast food I opened a chocolate milk for my daughter and passed it back to her after a few sips she tells me that something is gross and she has a dime size amount of mold on her finger from inside the chocolate milk. I am disgusted that my kid drank this. I took the milk away after finding it I smelled the milk and it smelled horrible. Chick-fil-a used to be my FAVORITE food. The past at Least 10 times I have gone there, they have gotten my order wrong. I said "every time babe. they mess up EVERY. TIME." If you like going to this food chain (ANY LOCATION!!!!!) do NOT I repeat, DO NOT give them ANY modifications to your order. They cannot or will not read the ticket properly, or ring up the order properly. Keep your order SIMPLE. They do NOT CARE about allergies. They DO NOT CARE if you dislike an ingredient and don't want it in your food. Keep your order as basic as possible or it will be wrong. Even then, don't count on it being correct. I have worked in fast food. I know what it's like. It's not hard to read a ticket and make what they ask for. I have never in my life had a place mess up my food EVERY time I've been there. If you want a light or healthier option, they also have Fruit Cups or Greek Yogurt Parfait. For lunch and dinner, I like their Market Place Salad with Apple Vinaigrette, nuggets, or their Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The Waffle Fries are a delicious addition too! They are always cooked and seasoned to perfection. They have the standard soda choices, but I usually get their lemonade. It always tastes so refreshing! The food here tastes fresh and high quality, but that is probably one of the reasons it is a bit pricey here compared to other places. The service is good consistently... the employees are polite and friendly. The only knock on this location is the seating and parking is limited. There are probably about 6-8 tables inside and some seating outside. As far as parking, they have designated a good number of parking spaces for pickup customers, and then blocked off a fair portion of the parking lot for drive thru orders. It can get difficult to find seating or parking during peak hours. I'm still a fan of this location and have been frequenting this location since they opened. Sooo Chik-fil-A is one of my fast food guilty pleasures. Can't deny that their food is so delicious! I always order on the app and hop into the drive-thru line to pick-up. This Mission Valley location is very efficient with their drive-thru, with 4 individual ordering lines that filter into the main pickup line. For food, I always get the Spicy Deluxe combo! This is a very yummy chicken sandwich! Comes with their waffle fries and a drink. Love their Sunjoy (I get diet lemonade and plain iced tea). I've also tried the kale crunch side, which is basically a kale salad w almonds, pretty yummy if you are craving some greens. Also a fan of their chicken noodle soup! It is surprisingly thick for a fast food soup, and I like their noodles. Now I find myself getting the CFA dupes from the frozen section and buying a bottle of CFA sauce to keep in my fridge. It's just as good if not better than this location. The area the restaurant that is located by the close location near by the San Diego Trolley Center near the Hazard Center and the Mission Valley Center stations. With the many sports events that will be coming up is that the Chicken Fil A restaurant is one place that will be the busiest one with the many great dishes and the chicken they will be one of the most widely used places that many people that will be coming to. With great tasting chicken and the many great side dishes they serve at the restaurant with the many areas around the restaurant makes one of the best locations yet to have one place where you can get food and still have a great time. In closing I have found that the restaurant of the Chick Fil A eateries has shown all the many achievements and the many great dishes which are some of the best from the Burger King and the many Jack N Box restaurants which don't meet the standards and the quality below normal.
