The food is usually a standard fast food quality but I had to say something about this seasonal drink. It's called the Noggy or Nice Sweet Cream Iced Coffee. I had a horrible experience at the drive-through at this location a few Sundays ago. The punk who took my order had zero customer service skills. In fact his attitude was a bit nasty. At the order microphone I asked him, "What's your name?" He replied, "John," although my receipt showed the name "Craig." I understand that since, this location has closed. If other restaurant managers see my comments, I would not recommend hiring any ex-Jack in the Box employees. The unit in Prescott Valley was staffed mainly by "high school drop-out" types, and given that Arizona is ranked #46 in public education nationally, these are not the types of "boys" you'd want your daughter marrying. May this location be replaced by a restaurant that takes pride in itself and has a good grasp on service. read more

Bear (name tag) was an amazing associate at this location! I came in for the lunch rush and ordered a breakfast jack combo. Minus the wimpy egg that came on my sandwich, everything else was amazing about my experience. Like for real- when was the last time you had a pleasant experience at jack in the box!? Bear was amazing! Took orders fast at register, was communicating with back of the kitchen, walked out my order to my table and even picked up my tray when I was done to throw it away for me! I know this place is closed now, but seeing all the one star reviews I wanted to give them a five star one because of my experience with this Jack in the Box. I've lived in Prescott Valley for a long time and occasionally go to get food (well, went, they're shut down now) here. I always got two Jumbo Jacks, "no onions", and that was all. My standard order. I'm not a french fry, soda kinda guy, burgers only. And I say the burgers were always good AND they never had onions on them! They never got that wrong, not even once! So kudos to them. I am sorry they closed. I always used the drive thru, and I never had trouble with the staff. They always seemed at least courteous to me. I just recently (August 2025) had a couple of the Tacos because I hadn't had them in many, many years. They were awesome! They brought back memories, those Taco's! They're not for everyone, but I like 'em. So, I just wanted to say I always had good service and good food here, and I'm sorry for all of the people who didn't like the place or staff. I told the girl at the counter and she said they were tiny tacos and that is what I ordered. Never heard of them. Ginger said that is what I ordered and she read it back to me?? In the last two visits to Jack in the Box, the kids failed to add tomatoes to my DBL JJ. As it was a drive-thru I found this out when I got home and had to add my own. The value for this was more than the price of the burger in the first place. I called the number on the receipt on the second failure and the response was lack luster as best. I've always liked JIB a little more than most other similar FF chains. This has nothing to do with the corporate marketing targeted towards stoner culture's munchie compulsions. It's all about the Jumbo Jack (with cheese, heavy onion and mayo please) and those tasty little deep-fried faux tacos. If this were still the 70's it would be all about the tastiest burger anywhere, the now defunct Bonus Jack. But that's neither here nor there... This location is locally owned and operated. The staff has always been friendly and seem to want to give good customer service. Unfortunately, I've had some problems with orders being incorrectly prepared. To the credit of management and staff they are always willing to fix the problem and make sure you're satisfied. Which is about all one should expect from FF restaurants. The other issue I have is that they could do better with keeping the dining area cleaner. That's not an easy task, but it can be done. JIB gets a full "extra" STAR for doing a great job with lettuce-wrapped, no-bun burgers and the Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain machine with a few dozen sugar-free and caffeine-free flavors. I came up to the window to pay and when she handed me the large drink, she didn't make sure I had a grip on it and it slipped. I have given this Jack in the box a few chances, but they seem to always get worse. Many times we are missing food - other times, it looks like we have everything and when we get home, the order is wrong and the upgrade (loaded tacos) aren't there. We paid for nothing. Last night was the straw that broke the camels back. I did a mobile order to be picked up in store. I chose to do it inside over the drive through so I could check everything without being pressured. I walked in, and I saw my order on the screen. There is a timer on that screen that counts up. I watched as that timer went from 4 minutes to 16 minutes before anyone even spoke to me. I was the only person inside. They saw me there. I waited 12 minutes for someone to say something. I was very furious. My leg shaking because of how annoyed I was. That was unacceptable. read more

The food was good, no complaints. The customer service is awful. We sat in the drive thru for at least ten minutes trying to get the attention of the store employee who was too busy dancing behind the counter to notice. When he did come back we asked if we could add on a small fries that we had forgotten to order. He then gave us our bag of food and said we had to drive around and come through the drive thru again to purchase fries. If I didn't have two hungry kids, I would have made him return it all and gone somewhere else. So the rest of my order gets cold while we order a small fries. This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard of. This store runs out of everything so its gambling to see what you get to eat that night for dinner. We also pulled up six minutes til close and they refused to take our order and said they were closed sorry. The store manager needs to be replaced at the very least. My husband, granddaughter and I stopped in to get breakfast meals, I was going to get the big breakfast meal, but before we placed our order, Cody told us we were not allowed to sit at the tables because there were only 3 employees working at the time, and that we had to leave to eat, I wasn't going to order but decided we would order anyway. It was too hot to sit in the car and eat, so we had to sit on the curb that was in the shade to eat. I have never been told we was not allowed in to sit and eat, because they didn't have time to clean up after us. While I understand this is fast food, until recent years, it was my favorite fast food. I just do not understand what has happened to the Box(es) in this area. It use to be good cheap food, but that was another time. My final visit was Friday May 18th. I am moving to an area that will not have this place and I wanted a fix before leaving... First off, I stood at the register a few minutes before the talkative staff even acknowledged a customer was waiting for service out front. Once the woman on the register came from behind the scenes to wait on me, she exuded a perturbed air and was very unfriendly while I placed my order, never thanking me nor really even talking to me, just stood there with a hand on her hip and walked away after she gave me my change. I found it interesting that the dining area had customers, dirty tables, over-flowing trash bins while the employees were gossiping(?) behind the counter. As to the food, the two greasy tacos were hot and unexplainingly nastily as wonderful as I remember (either one likes them or one doesn't). I like them. However, the jumbo jack beef patty was cold, far from juicy, and tasteless, hockey puck came to mind. Then I pulled a tomato out of my sandwich which I ordered without and verified my receipt stated no tomato. The fries, while hot, were way too salty, tasted of Umh... old oil leaving a taste in my mouth I needed to rinse out. Oops, damn, no drink cup, I had to get up from my table and wait, wait, wait, till unfriendly woman showed at the register so I could get a drink cup that should have came with my order. She never said a word and looked as if she could speak English. Maybe my thinking she could speak English is my fault, but she appeared to be caucasion. I got my drink, sat back at the table, looked at the awful meal, ate the hamburger patty cold and decided to just dump everything else in the trash rather than complain. After-all I did like the tacos, and as the employees had no interest in serving their customers in any way, shape or form, why bother? I went to Jack in the Box this evening. After ordering 12 tacos my daughter and I headed home. When I arrived home we realized we were short two tacos. I took the order and returned to Jack in the Box and told them what had happened. I asked for 12 tacos. The girl who had filled our order apologized but another employee, a small blonde headed female, acted like I had insulted her. She seemed really put out that I wanted 12 fresh tacos.
