I guess no Dr Pepper, something funky hanging from nozzle! If the manager would take his workers one at a time to Chick-fil-A or In-N-Out, and they put just half as much effort into their work. Just maybe, Jacks would be back. Until then the Jack Head must fall! read more

Jack in the Box - What the Funk?! - Fast Food Near Me - New Braunfels, Texas

The worst Jack in the Box that I have ever been to. The inside is disgusting all the tables were dirty and they only had like three tables. The restrooms looked like they haven't been cleaned in years. The service was slow waited like 40 minutes for my app order. They also put my dine in order in bags and didn't even have the munchie meal boxes. The soda machine put out hot soda and they had no ice. I know the Jack in the Box owner operator whatever is going to say contact us via heyjack.com and then they won't do anything to help the situation. Wasted $60 on some nasty food. Will never return. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! read more

Food quality is good, but drive thru service is poor. I went thru their drive thru twice this week and both times they messed up the order. First I ordered a jumbo jack without cheese. Repeating twice NO cheese. And the still gave me one with cheese that I gave back to them. Second time I asked for Yellow mustard with my egg-rolls and the gave me Sweet-n-sour sauce packet instead. Had to go in and ask for mustard packets. read more

No apparent A/C for workers or inside. They have one large fan. Waited in drive through for 5min didn't move no one got their order taken. Decided to walk in. There were only 2 workers and one litteraly looked at me and still was peeling cheese. Waited a few min for someone to come to the register but that never happened. There was another customer that was waiting for his pick up and it was done/bagged up and no one helped him. He got it and left. I don't blame him no one was coming to help. My husband and I left with no food and were extremely disappointed with this location. Great place to go if you want to waste your time. read more

Still terrible... 10 minutes by myself after being told they will be with me waiting at the register in an empty store.... No one was ever gonna come lol the amount of people they lose because of service is laughable read more

Wait 15 minutes for a simple burger, 10 minutes later sitting down to eat and they got the order wrong. Last straw with this location.

Waited in line for 40 minutes at the drive thru, whoever it training these workers needs to do a better job because this is ridiculous. Nothing fast about this fast food chain read more

I wanted to recognize Ace working at Jack in the Box today. He was running the entire restaurant by himself, taking orders, making the food, and helping customers, all while staying calm and made sure my order was correct. He deserves recognition for his hard work and dedication. Hopefully management gives him the support he needs because employees like him are why I want to keep coming here Thank you for the excellent service! read more

I spent $50 through uber and it took over 40 minutes to arrive. When it arrived it was 4 egg rolls, a completely different persons order. I call them and I have to drive to pick it up, I get the food and go home. Come to find out they forgot 4 tacos and gave the wrong drinks. The only thing special about this place is the extra chromosome workers they picked up on a short bus. Food industry can be rough I know, but come on. read more

They took down my funny review that was still five stars, but whatever. Jack in the Box is still one of my favorite fast food joints. It is a bit annoying that the Jack in the Boxes in Texas and Texas only aren't 24 hours. But this location does Jack in the box like you would expect Jack in the box to do. Never had a problem with incorrect orders, or stale fries or anything like that. I just wish they were open 24 hours because I'm a night owl. read more

amazing service. even though it does take a little long for our food to come, the food and ambience is still great.

Absolute worst customer service. A bunch of young kids who don't know anything about service to industry. Their disrespectful and don't give a shit about your order, They take forever and then when you ask them questions, they just hang up on you. Completely disrespectful. read more

Service is terrible, waited 15 minutes inside for someone to even speak to me (was picking up online order) waited another 25 minutes for the food. Would not suggest to anyone read more

always horrible customer service. takes forever to answer while using drive thru. Food is okay.

Did a pick up order. Instead of handing me my order at the front doors that were locked at 12pm on a Tuesday they told me to go through the drive through with had a ton of cars in line. Terrible employees at this location. 2/11/25 12:30pm read more

Employees all high, sitting outside, taking our order and laughing stating that every item we order is "out of stock." Dont waste our time pretending to be open read more

Thankful for the reopening. Food was made perfect. Hot, fresh and Jack in the Box literally better than before !

First off they didn't have the tiny tacos, so I said okay I'll take some orders of the regular tacos & some curly fries. THEY ARE BOTH COLD, not even luke warm but COLD. I call back to complain & no one is answering my phone call. What kind of food service is this! If you don't have tiny tacos at least have some good if not decent regular tacos. For y'all being the only location in new braunfels how are y'all gonna suck so bad!? Is that just acceptable for y'all? The fact that I can't even reach someone to provide my feedback is ridiculous! read more

i just ordered a Bacon Ultimate cheese burger with no mayo and no mustard. They gave me a burger without the bacon and WITH mayo!! That's ridiculous. I also ordered a LARGE caramel iced coffee and they gave me a REGULAR size. who gives someone a Bacon Ultimate Cheese Burger with NO BACON?? when i say No mayo, no mustard, that doesn't just mean no mustard. that means no mayo too. and when i ask for a LARGE caramel iced coffee, multiple times, that means i want a large caramel coffee, not a regular. How many times do i have to repeat my order for y'all to get it right?? read more

This restaurant is horrible. It's fast food. Fast is a key part of the requirements. 15+ minutes to get four burgers and fries at 10:30 pm. Insane. read more

So, I don't typically expect superb service at fast food restaurants as I understand that it can be a busy and overwhelming work environment. However, I visited this place and there was only one car in line with us. When we reached the window, the cashier asked us if we would be okay not receiving change as they "only had a few pennies in the drawer." We offered 14 cents so we could round up to get a dollar back to make it easy. He kept saying "no it's okay, you're good" and proceeded to short us 86 cents. Now I know what you're thinking "really? Over 86 cents?" But it's the principle, we offered change to make a simple round up to receive a dollar back. Which seems like they could have used it due to the previous statement of "only having pennies." It just leaves me to wonder if this is something they do regularly. If you go, just use a card. read more

Food was great service was stupendous and a very tidy and clean store. Definitely a great place if your hankering for a good fry and burger.

First time going to a Jack in the box. Staff was super friendly and polite. We got our food quickly and it was great. The eating area was clean as well. I was concerned seeing only 2/5 stars but they've stepped up their game. read more

i ordered a sourdough breakfast sandwich add sausage, they charged me extra for sausage. (which was fine) i get the sandwich and no sausage so i go back and tell them. they get me a new sandwich and said "you had the breakfast sandwich with sausage" i said yes, then they hand me my sandwich. i leave again and check my sandwich still no sausage and not only that but now it's not even on sourdough bread. i'm not one to complain but i ordered a simple thing, and they couldn't get it right not even the second time around. read more

Jack Tacos? More like Crack Tacos. They are, inexplicably, the best drive-thru tacos in the world. Jack knows what it does and it does it well. This is high calorie, high fat grub. It wouldn't take a lot to eat a 10,000 cal meal here. If you're going to eat unhealthy food, at least get the most bang (and taste) out of it. read more

12-28-22. Whataburger has always been my go to until recently. I'm a big Dairy Queen fan too but I just got the Jumbo Jack with cheese at our New Braunfels location on Seguin st....that was just about the best burger I've had. At least it's the best in a long time. The patty was cooked to where it was hot, a little crisp on the edges, and perfect in the middle. It melted the cheese just right and the lettuce and tomatoes where cut perfect. the lettuce had a crisp to the bite too. 5 stars guys! read more

I almost didn't go to this location because of all the bad reviews. I ordered on the app and it was a large order for multiple people. They got everything right; nothing was missing, plenty of napkins, and the guy at the window was super friendly. read more

Every time we go there is something or another out or not working, but today at 5:00 in the afternoon we pull up to the drive thru and a girl comes out from the back door saying "we're closed" when I tried asking why she spoke over me repeating "we're closed, we're closed, not taking ANY orders" . Horrible costumer service and sad excuse for a business. read more

"Wow" is all I can say. Grant it that my visit was around 2am on New Year's Day, but this whole experience seemed like some sort of unbelievable Hunter S. Thompson heroine/cocaine fueled experience. I ... just .... couldn't .... believe how crazy it all was! The whole restaurant was ran by a total of THREE employees being led by a 23 year old tattooed white dude (no offense of course). Although this little guy was very concerned about the guests inside the restaurant, he seemed fixated on getting everyone out of the drive thru for some reason. He was very apologetic to everyone but kept explaining there were only three of them. The most interesting thing was that he LITERALLY kept jumping behind the counter - really, jumping! It was sooo weird that it was entertaining! The service was terrible, the restaurant was filthy, but for a Jack in the Box it wasn't too bad. I just hope this isn't what we are starting to settle for in our Jack in the Box restaurants. read more

Like all other JITB. Tacos that are very bad for you but necessary when you are out with friends and you are tipsy and need food. Ultimate cheeseburgers. Curly fries. They have one of those soda machines that you can make all kinds of fancy drinks with. Always ask for secret sauce! I don't come here often but when I do, it is taco time. read more

This location rocks. Never had a problem with order-- always correct. Staff very nice, helpful, above and beyond. I only use drive through. Wish it was 24/7 only complaint as I am a night owl and New Braunfels appears to shut down at 10:00pm. Food is always up to Jack standards. read more

So today I thought I'd go get a burger combo at Jack in the Box. Wasn't sure which one I wanted. I arrived and saw a poster on the window. It was a Double Bonus Jack combo for $5.99. Seemed like a good deal. I've had a Bonus Jack before. It's supposed to be like a Big Mac. At first the lady rung up a Double Jack combo for by like $12. I corrected her as I had clearly stated I wanted a Double Bonus Jack combo. After about 5 minutes she brought the tray out. Fries were thin and cold. Fine. I started eating the burger and noticed it had like hot sauce on the bottom bun and little special sauce if any. I wasn't sure what was supposed to be on it so I ate like half and tossed out the rest. Poster clearly shows special sauce. When I got home I looked at the Jack in the Box website to check ingredients for the Bonus Jack. Just as I thought NO HOT SAUCE, and lots of special sauce. I don't know if they don't know what goes on a Bonus Jack or someone was playing a joke. Now my stomach hurts. Never again. Stupid people work here. read more

Went here for a "quick" lunch. There were only 2 couples besides us in there. But we waited almost 10-15min? For a burger and fries.. we didn't get the extra fries which was fine since it was free so we didn't bother. It just amazes me how slow they were considering how little customers they had. They were out of tea which was fine but we noticed that their soda machine were out of ALLOT of drinks too.. Before we left we wanted to get some water instead from the machine but noticed that the water was yellowish?? Allot of tables weren't cleaned, and the ladies restroom was a mess. (Like worse than one at a bad tank station) *All in all that place is a mess. And maybe food inspection should visit that place. read more

I can deal with them not having some things, I get it can sell out. But when I ask for a small burger and they say they are out of small patties & I ask if I can have that same burger made in a big burger and they say no they can't, I'm so confused? It's just a cheese burger but in a big patty. The guy was very rude with saying. "What? Huh? What?" Every time I would say something. Very unprofessional & ghetto! Looks like they don't want to make any sales. These people need more training, along the managers, I can hear them in the back "what happened? What do they want? Tell them no" lol this place along the employees are trash. read more

Drive thru took forever, they didn't know they had one of their own unlisted combo meals, they forgot to give me my drink and I noticed after I drove off. Wow. Don't even waste your time coming to this location. My family and I waited in their drive-thru lane for 26 minutes only to have half of our order missing. My husband went inside to get this resolved only to be blown off by the staff which was mostly made up of confused, poorly trained teenagers. He waited for TEN minutes before the shift manager helped him-only to be accused of trying to get free food. Seriously?!!! It was a nightmare. read more
