My go to, the classic, forever my favorite: Jack spicy chicken. I tried their new spicy chicken sandwich, or whatever it's called, and I wasn't the biggest fan. I love sticking to the classics. The tacos here will forever be good and cheap, even though they've been gradually increasing the price over the years. Boo. A little trick I've been doing since I was a kid: order jalapeño poppers and put them inside of the Jack spicy chicken sandwich, add catch-up so it all sticks together. BOOM! Genius idea. read more

Family and I were craving fast food- decided on Jack in the Box. First time at this location- we decided on drive thru. We were asked to park on the side and someone would deliver the food to us. I dislike giving bad reviews. I would like everyone to be aware and be mindful when ordering. Please check your food order. The kids found hair in their burgers. I wish I remembered to take a photo, but we were all disgusted. We didn't want to drive back 30 mins to the restaurant. Everything is so expensive these days and spent over $70 for trashy food. Lesson learned. We will just continue cooking food at home. Thank you Jack in Box Hayward for the reminder - cook at home. Extremely disappointed. read more

I ordered the $5 meal deal. They said it does not come with 2 sides like it is supposed to! They said I would have to pay for the second side! They asked everyone working and nobody knows what they have on the menu. No wonder they have a 2.8 star rating. It should be lower! 0 stars read more

If I could give zero starts I will. I work overnight so for my lunch I wanted to order pickup. Placed it on DoorDash for 10:05. Came at 10:05 and the doors were locked. Okay understandable since the place closes at 10. Come though the drive through and no one is even taking orders through there. There was this car parked there as if it's been there for a while. It's 10:15 at this point and I have only 15 minutes of my lunch left. I'm frustrated picking up the order because it's COLD. As if it's been sitting there for an hour. I ask the lady at the front if they just made this and she lied to my face and said yes. I used to work at drive thrus so I don't understand why you have people who are slow and lazy. Tried to call the store for a refund but no one picked up. I don't mean to be rude but I am very upset considering I wasted all of my lunch waiting here. No line too btw. read more

I ordered two tacos and politely asked the employee to make my tacos cooked to order and specified I wanted them straight out the fryer. I asked to please not have any that were already made and told her I did not mind waiting a few minutes. She said ok and said she would make them fresh. After receiving my order I noticed immediately that they were not fresh out the fryer or cooked to order fresh as requested. She blatantly lied a for no good reason as it wouldn't have taken long to fry them. I already made a complaint online at the website read more

hi, I just got my bad experience at this location just went to get some food around 10:40pm on friday 20 and the person that took my order was horrible wasn't giving me time to see what else i wanted. I asked for ranch and taco sauce mind you i got 2 order or tacos plus she only gave us 3 sauces and yeah she didn't give us no ranch and when i asked for more taco sauce she gave us a bad attitude and a bad face like if we were doing something wrong. this is wrong you can't treat people bad like this, i felt like i was getting fully attended, especially when you are working for customer's service you need to be nice. I was trying to talk to the manager but it was closed inside plus there was cars behind us. These is just horrible experience. need to hire better people here these lady doesn't like her jod need to get fired asap. read more

Always something about this location I was at the screen for 5 minutes and nobody answered so I went to the window and dude was saying I needed to order through the screen and wanted me to pull all the way back around just giving me a hard time. Then I pull up at 4:17am after I got off from work and they said machines were booting back up and they wont take orders until 4:30. This was already the second it happened to me so I asked are you guys pretty much closed from 4-4:30am and they confirmed yes which doesn't make sense if they are open 24hrs. read more

Rude staff. I ordered 2 large meals with 2 large fries. And they only were able to give me 2 sauces. They wanted to charge me extra for more sauces. I can eat like 6 ranch sauces with my meal. Yooo I don't know what this location is like on most days but this morning, I'm already having a bad day and the lady working is RUDE AS HELL!!! First of all she don't listen whatsoever! I repeated my order slowly and politely 3 effin' times!!!! When she hands over the food it's not all there and then she gets an attitude when I tell her we don't have all we order. She goin say "I didn't charge you for that!" Seriously, I'm a mild mannered person but the nonchalant and blatant rudeness of this B**** almost took me there. Some dishonest employees working at this restaurant. On Sunday, February 27, 2022, I stopped by to this restaurant to get me some dinner food. Absolutely disgusting. I mean, i'm pretty disgusted with myself in general for reaching for a munchie meal, but who seriously serves molded croissants to customers? This really is making me reconsider fast food as a whole, and just how long these employees have been storing everything they house. As a matter of fact, i'm reconsidering my life choices and just how much rotten trash goes in and out of minimum wage fast food joints. From the time of writing this review, i've been going full blown exorcist on the porcelain throne. The 4th visit so far. God help me. read more

Worst Jack in the box ever lmfao. I worked food service for 4 years and I have NEVER seen workers this bad fr. They ask everyone to park in front after they take your order just so they can get their times down. They also asked me 3 times in the span of like 3 mins if I've as ready to order after I told them that I'd let them know if I was ready... I get if there were cars behind me that you'd want to rush but bruh there was no one there . Are ppl not allowed to figure out what they want to get where the menu is??? Like what about the people who have never been there before. They also charge for every single sauce you get, not even one for free. When I tried to ask for sauce at the window they also just closed the door on me. At the very least, do the bare minimum when it comes to customer service. These workers can't even do that. My favorite Jack in the Bay so far! Most fresh food and communication is clear through drive thru speaker! NEW mini tacos are worth the $3 but i will substitute it for my combo meal next time now that I know how mini they really are. They are just like the regular tacos but without the cheese and lettuce. Accidents happen (I once spilled hot tea on my crotch while checking out a sexy server), but I've never had any here, and so I don't know why I bring it up. Anyway (hehehe), my wife and I bought dinner here on Saturday (we took our food to go). We placed our order right away. Our cashier was competent and cute (I thought that our cashier was going to be this guy, but I think he was just filling in for a second). She also didn't ask too many questions (when you order an item, some Jack in the Box cashiers are anal about whether you want the "combo or just the sandwich," but she really only asked once- most customers will make it clear when they're ordering a combo). I'm impressed by the new layout (the restaurant looks radically different now than it did just a few years ago). They're a little dark and drab, but the tiles are otherwise great (the eating area used to be carpeted). There are only a few booths now. All along the back is a counter (I counted 14 chairs), and there are a lot of tables. In short, the restaurant looks more spacious now even though the seating capacity has increased (it used to be over 50, but is now over 70). There are now 2 TV's inside (they're nice and somewhat big). A Spanish sitcom was on one of them (I don't know the name of it, but the characters are all silly, and it features grown women dressed as schoolgirls), and an English talk show was on the other (it features boring segments). The restaurant is always kept clean, and the restrooms are fine. We received our order in about 5 minutes (the time went by fast). The drive-thru was busy, but it was just us and a Mexican family inside. Note: All prices include tax. Sourdough Jack ($4.99): 8.25/10. They're good, but overpriced (they used to be under $4). My friend Winnie likes them more, but I'm also a big Sourdough Jack fan. The one I had on Saturday could have been better, though (it just wasn't as tasty as the ones I've had in the past). Still, my patty was cooked well, and my slices of bacon didn't have much fat. My bun (grilled sourdough bread), as usual, was off the hook. I'm also pleased that I received my Sourdough Jack plain (I have no complaints regarding the service we received- our cashier even gave us a fair number of ketchup packets). Meaty Breakfast Burrito ($3.90): 8.75/10. They're more expensive now too (they used to be under $3), but they're as good and filling as ever. I joyfully ate my burrito. Breakfast Platter w/Sausage ($3.25): 8.5/10. A great deal (you receive a lot of food). Order the Platter with Sausage, not Bacon. The buttery spread and syrup are good, but my wife didn't want hers (that's fine with me- I put some of the spread on the English muffin I had last night, and will try to use the syrup later). Hearty Breakfast Bowl ($3.90): 8.5/10. They're very good and filling. My wife's only complaint had to do with the sauce. I mentioned it to her before we ordered, but only hinted that she should order her Bowl without it (my dad likes the sauce, but it's a bit hot and overpowering). Seasoned Curly Fries (Medium- $2.82): 8.5/10. I received a decent amount of fries and didn't really have to add any salt. In general, the fries here are consistently good. I enjoyed my food, but it wasn't entirely filling. I should have ordered another item (I'm just a big eater). Although some of our items were overpriced, we ate well for $18.65. This is still my favorite Jack in the Box location. Go Jack!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_Ic1NL4avs read more

Jack or whoever took my order wasn't paying close attenton. asked what kind of soda i wanted.. i distinctly ordered a sandwich. eats: fish sandwich (2.69) -soft bun, hard crust on fried fish patty covered with tartar sauce, lettuce scheds -fish ok but sammie wasn't right. 2.5 stars. read more

This is our usual spot for decent fast food since the food is made when ordered. It takes a little longer to wait for your order but I don't mind. No one really eats inside the restaurant do it's rarely dirty. Mainly, you will see people use the drive-thru. I have been going here for years as I live close by. They have not messed up my order so far. They are open 24 hours and convenient for those midnight snack. I like it here compared to other fast food chain plus it's close to home. Love their Oreo cookie shakes, to sourdough sandwich or spicy chicken sandwich, egg rolls and their dollar two tacos. There are more sandwiches I have tried but these are my favorite ones. The rest are ok. The new jalapeño burger was ok too but seemed a lot of mayo or sauce. I know it's not traditional tacos they offer and is deep fried but so good for a cheap good bite. ;-) read more

Inedible. Even when drunk. We were drunk and decided to get some monster tacos, curly fries, and chicken tenders. Everything was soaked in oil and not edible. The oil was old and clearly hasn't been changed and the food tasted burnt and stale. It was as if they tried to warm up week-old leftover food in the fryer. Waste of $18 for midnight munchies. No wonder there was literally no line for the drive thru on a Saturday night. Wendy's and McDs nearby had at least 10 cars in line. Should have taken that as a hint. The people of Hayward know where to go and where NOT to go. Pitiful. read more
