He has no bedside manner whatsoever--rude, dismissive, and condescending from the moment he walked in. He barely listened to my concerns, talked down to me, and made me feel like I was wasting his time. When I tried to explain the ongoing skin issues I was having, he didn't bother to examine the areas I pointed out. Instead, he brushed it off, said it was "just acne," and handed me a couple of sample products as if that would solve everything. I left the appointment feeling completely unheard and disrespected. It's been over a year since that visit, and there was no improvement from his so-called "treatment." I sought out another dermatologist afterward, who actually listened, ran tests, and provided a real diagnosis--something this doctor never even attempted. If you're looking for a doctor who cares about their patients, look elsewhere. This one seems more interested in rushing people out the door than offering any real help.

I went to Derrick Dermatology first and was not happy. Then back to Duly in Tinley and was not happy. So on the Pinnacle which was recommended by a few friends. This place is OK. They prescribed a variety of corticosteroids and moisturizers with no success. Thankfully, I saw Paige Jonaitis and she immediately did a patch test and I found out what I was allergic to and was prescribed a biologic cream that actually worked for me! Thank you Paige! My hands are healed and I'm able to wear my wedding rings once again!

I have excellent health insurance and have never had a health practitioner demand a credit card to be seen. Terrible policy, rude desk staff and no exceptions to this rule. TMI coming up: I have birthed a child, gotten two tattoos, ran the Chicago Marathon and had a 2nd degree burn on my leg so the thresh hold of physical pain I have experienced is pretty broad :) If you are concerned about injections being painful, don't be. I went in for a simple sinus infection and was given a very invasive nasal endoscopy billed at $549.00 (which is described on my BCBS EOB as a surgery) with absolutely no discussion as to why or the cost prior to having it done. I question the PA and she simply said, it was their routine care, so be warned. Also, please note that as a new patient, I had just had one the previous year ( I agree to) to rule out any polyps for my post nasal drip, which resulted in no polyps or major issues. In my opinion this practice is mostly interested in over billing and increasing their profitability.
