Coffe at a restaurant? Oh well- it's the only place open at seven

A surprisingly good b-fast sandwich! Fast service /friendly as well. Expensive airport food- but in this case it was a really good product. Kudos on the perfect scrapple and cooper cheese twist. Winner winner chicken dinner!

We have a long flight to Lisbon and decided to stop in and get a bite to eat before we boarded. Big mistake stopping at this place. My friend ordered a turkey burger and some fries and I ordered some chicken tenders and some fries. Just trying to play it safe because it was a restaurant in the airport terminal. With that being said, my chicken tenders were as hard as a rock and the inside was so overdone and stringy that it was hard to bite through and it was so bland. I didn't know you could mess chicken tenders up, but apparently this place cracked the code.

There are two areas to the pub. We opted to sit in the area near the windows where it was quieter. Service was prompt since it wasn't busy. Of course, when in Philly we must try the Philly Cheese Steak with provolone cheese. The fries were well cooked and the cheese steak was huge. I'm glad we only ordered one to split. This side of the pub doesn't have draft beer so only cans are available. Also, water and other fountain drinks are only available bottled. Since we had a long layover we hung around to watch college football. Unfortunately they were unable to switch the channel. In fact, what ended up on the TV was Philly baseball. Oh well.

This was an excellent place to watch an Eagles playoff game, and make friends at the same time. I sat at the bar, and looked on with envy as people around me ordered very good looking chicken cheese steaks, complete with chopped up peppers and onions. SNIFFFFF! I had my first Yards beer (not bad!) and a couple glasses of Jameson in the rocks, a long with some other guys who clinked and sang with me for touchdowns! Fun! Prices were reasonable, and the place was standard faux Irish pub, but the bartender gave it a really friendly vibe.

Philly Cheese Steak. Not much meat or cheese on it. The fries we just ok.

I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries and a gin and tonic. The gin and tonic was good. The sandwich lacked enough meat and chees to make it any good. The fries were just ok. Nothing special. The service was just ok, too. Music was a bit loud.

Stopped in before my flight and Connor was my bartender. He strongly recommended the wings when I asked and he was right! They were perfectly crispy and fresh. I had a couple of margaritas too which were tasty! I will definitely return again if my flight is leaving from nearby this terminal.

The second soup of the day is Maryland Crab Soup. Epic failure ! Tried the chili blahhh

This review is based upon the food. Service was provided but not friendly. This is in terminal A. Good luck

    Philly / Fries

I honestly loved the Philly!! It was simple but packed with lots of flavored. The French fries were crispy and soft inside. The reason for my 2 stars it's because the menu has a price listed and they charged me a different price. When asked she " will idk that seems wired " and walked away after grabbing my card. I would just keep an eye out for that other then that the Beer was Ice Cold and Highly recommended the Philly!! In my photos you can see the menu price $17.50 and what I was charged $19.00 . When I asked I had fries not fried onions . She said " that's how they ring it in " I honestly had to run to my gate on the other side. Or I would have stayed to keep asking why the price difference and have them fix it.

When you are in Philly, you need to get the cheesesteak. I got mine with the Whiz. It was good. Max got a beer and I had an Old Fashioned. Service was fast because they knew we needed to catch a plane. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to take my drink on the plane so I had to chug it down. It wasn't crowded when we arrived, but I can see standing room only when the airport is full of travelers.

    Philly Cheesesteak
    Roshan R.

The Philly cheesesteak was alright. I would give it 3/5. I expected it to be better than that as I was actually in Philly. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. Insanely crowded place and quite dirty. Sticky chairs and tables. The bartender was so busy that she got my order wrong twice and all I asked was for vodka with club soda. Also, I hate it when a place has full bar and no drinks menu.

Great airport pub. The food was good, service was awesome. Drinks were cold and hit the spot. A hidden gem.

Our waitress was very friendly and ended up leaving a pitcher of water once she saw we were parched. The salad bar wasn't huge, but there were some cold dishes along with salad fixings, which is part of the vintage charm. The bread (not complementary) was also a huge round loaf great for sharing. The decor's medieval vibe is very charming and it's nice looking around the room. The kitchen is open to the dining room with big brick ovens. I had the prime rib which was big and juicy (the baked potato was fine but the Yorkshire puff was bland and barely editable soaked in juice - may just be I don't like this food). The steak came with a giant onion ring which was delightful, and it was cooked perfectly tender. This place thrives in your meat and potato staples, so not a lot of side options except what's at the salad bar. For dessert, we had to try the peach melba delight, which was a giant goblet of vanilla ice cream, peaches in juice, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Deceptively simple but extremely tasty and great to share There's a large bar area and the bathrooms are nice. This place is great for larger groups that include older people. The food is good and the atmosphere did feel like it was from another time, but we had a good time, and it's nice to see a place like this still around.

As a vegetarian, I can't recommend their seitan cheese steak highly enough - it was savory comfort food wrapped in a perfectly balanced amount of delicate hoagie bun. Since the bar seats were full, we had the choice to head all the way to the 2nd rear bar. The bartender informed us that we could not sit at the table unless we were ordering food. At this point we ended our pub crawl and left defeated scratching our heads. This was far from a classy place without a line out the door during the week which made it even more alarming. Interesting experience as our last taste of Philly.

We asked for the toppings on the side because, you know, kids, but WOW. The vodka sauce was delicious, and the pickled tomato concoction that came with them? I could've bathed in it. The calamari was perfectly crisp and came with the unexpected bonus of onion rings, which were ever-so-lightly battered and perfectly crunchy. And once again, the sauces were superb. The boys shared a cheese pizza, half pepperoni, and really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the burger, and yes, I stole a bite--and yes, to no one's surprise, it was amazing. We also ordered the charred broccoli after seeing everyone rave about it online. They were NOT wrong. Creamy, smoky, charred perfection. And finally... drumroll please... the 10 oz. smoked Duroc pork chop! OH. EM. GEEE. Perfectly charred on the outside and incredibly juicy inside, sitting in the most delicious smoky morita-apricot glaze and topped with a bright cucumber-melon salad with mint and blue basil. The contrast was perfection! The rich, smoky pork, the sweet and slightly spicy glaze, and that cool, fresh salad on top. Every bite had the perfect combination of flavors and textures. Easily one of the best pork chops I've ever had. As wonderful as the food was, the service somehow made the experience even better. From the minute we arrived, we were treated like family coming home for the holidays. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. What an absolute joy of a restaurant. It was still good, just not as "lobster ravioli" as Im used to. The pizza is a very thin crust but they did a wonderful job of not burning the crust despite this. There was a lao a really nice distribution of pepperoni throughout the pizza and it never really gave that "greasy" feeling that can happen.
