In fact, during my procedure we talked about how long he's been in business and a little about his history in the army. The operation itself went great. He did surgery on me and I felt he handled everything with care. He walked me through everything before the operation, asked if I had any questions, which I did, and he answered all of them. The atmosphere, level of privacy, location, cleanliness, customer service, and the operation, were all a solid 10/10 experience for me personally. I noticed a water fountain and drank some water but could taste a little bit of the chlorine so I asked for a bottled water and they happily gave me one. Staff wished me a happy weekend and easy recovery on my way out and I'm scheduled for a follow up in 2 weeks. If I remember I'll try to update this review but so far so good! 44 yrs, Male

After the appointment, my father was so upset that he came directly to my home to tell me he wanted to change providers and would never return. I immediately transferred his care to another provider, who treated him with the kindness and respect he deserved. When a patient is sharing something as serious as a cancer diagnosis, compassion and empathy are essential. Unfortunately, this was not our experience here, and I would not recommend this provider.

I was called back after a short wait to Pre.Opp. I was met by Marilee, she explained what was next, provided me with a gown took my vitals, inserted my I V (no pain) Marilee made me comfortable. I then met Paige my OR nurse all the staff here are professional lots of teamwork. Paige was Joined by Dr. Scurlock my anesthesiologist, we went over my sedation and recovery. Dr.Schlamblin came in asked if I was ready, marked my my shoulder. There was no rush the entire staff was very accommodating answered all my questions I was ready. 2 hours later, I opened my eyes and met Linda my recovery nurse. He couldn't have been less personable, void of any personality and bedside manner, and appeared to be in a rush to leave (we were waiting days for his consult). He spent about 3 min with us, which would have been about 30seconds if we didn't begin asking him questions, and his advice was "see a doctor after you get discharged'. Really? He never offered a gameplan, he lied on the consult about 'discussing findings' (he didn't discuss anything, he basically just said 'go see a doctor'). He also had misinformation in the consult that we disputed in which the hospitalist agreed with our dispute. There seems to be a trend of him getting things wrong according to the reviews, and he seems to have a bias towards disabled patients. He never offered to schedule us post-discharge and kept trying to pass the buck to find another doctor. Hopefully you aren't as unlucky to get stuck with this guy. We've dealt with many specialists and he was among the absolute worst. Hospitalist helped us get in touch with a new specialist and already have next steps planned for a procedure which he said he recommends we get done, something Dr. Youngstrom didn't even discuss. Dr. Youngstrom, I feel sorry for anyone who gets stuck with your ass. We're lucky as hell we didn't get stuck with you.

His first comment was that an ordinary gyno could have addressed my problem. He agreed to write me a prescription and see me to follow up in a month. He sent the wrong Rx. Then it took a couple of days before his office contacted me and I asked for the correct Rx. I'm still experiencing pain "down there." The doctors in this country need to start acting like human beings and not like they are gods.
