Great Atmosphere and multiple type seating arrangements , fits all ! Beer was great and food was not bad , could be better / hot / exotic . Tried the grilled chicken tacos and crab tip with nacho s . Speciality Craft beers could be highlighted better on menu ! Also service delivery needs to be better ! But overall A ++

Went here Sunday early evening The restaurant had quite a few tables and we were seated in a booth The server was warm and helpful Told is about the beers and food Ordered some beer with appetizers Ordered the crab dip which came with bread and nachos and Tasted quite good Then ordered Chicken quesadillas which were ok not as expected and too small in size Like mini quesadillas though Tasted fine I've had better quesadillas These ones were just average tasting They have huge TVs so this is a great place for watching a game with some interesting drinks and food An great place with good food and excellent service Would love to go there again to try out some more interesting stuff from their menu

This location is very close to my work, so sometimes we go here after work just to chill and relax. The staff is mostly friendly here. The atmosphere of this location is always electrifying and they offer large variety of drinks and food. When I am hungry I always order the chicken club sandwich with Caesar salad or Parmesan fries. Its always feels amazing to have good food with company great friends and chitchat.

Jack astors has been my go to place lately. Many of my friends and I have been playing catch up these few months and I always suggest coming to this Jack Astors. The main reason for always coming here is surprisingly because of their steak. I know, it sounds crazy, but for a chain restaurant they have GREAT steaks. Now I've only ever tried The Classic, so I can't really say much for the other steaks on the menu. Jack Astors has once again changed their menu for the 100th time but luckily for me, it's in my favour! Up until a few weeks ago The Classic would make you choose between a 7oz steak and 11oz (I believe). Then you'd have the option to add veggies for an extra $3 something. NOW, for the same price of $22 something, The Classic offers you a 7oz steak, garlic mash (which I prefer more than the loaded mash) AND veggies. Score for me! Let me tell you, they always cook my steak to my exact liking (medium) and 4/5 times, the steak has not been chewy. You know, chain restaurants can tend to have low quality chewy steaks, but not here. Kudos Jack Astors. If you're on a budget but craving a good quality steak, this is your place. On my most recent visit I also decided to get the brownie baked inside of a cookie for dessert. Because I am a fatty, I HAD to add ice cream to this. How can you have a warm cookie and brownie without ice cream? Preposterous! It was only an extra dollar to add ice cream. YOLO. I ended up only eating the middle part of the cookie aka where the brownie was. The edges were slightly over cooked and hardened a little too fast. I'm not a fan of hard crunchy cookies. Anyways, the soft parts I ate were delicious and with the ice cream it was perfection. It sucks I had to waste half the cookie though. Like I mentioned before they've changed up their menu so if you weren't a fan before, there might be something now to your liking. Although I find their menu pretty diverse already. And of course, try the steak!

There were no major games happening nor was there any good deal attracting guests to come. But still it took forever to be seated. And another life time before seeing our server taking our order. There had a lot or staff when I asked they said I had to talk to my server. My water came in this chipped cup. Since the place is so poorly lit, I didn't see it and drank out and cut my lips on it. I told this to OUR server and asked for a straw, she could not have cared less and I did not see this straw until the next time I saw her, which is when the bill came at the end of our meal ( 30 mins later). I will not be coming to this jack Astor's ever again. But if you are brave and still want to go, save your lips. Get straws!! And last tip, just don't go here.

I had four enrolment seminars to conduct in Brampton today. I had headed out for lunch about 11:30am and went to Jack Astor's, which was a five minute drive away. The hostess who greeted me was very friendly. After she seated me, she asked me if I wanted a newspaper. I had my book but thanked her. A server came over right away and asked me what I wanted to drink ... I ordered a Diet Pepsi. She said that Rachelle would be my server. Rachelle was very friendly and chatty. I ordered what I usually order when I'm at Jack Astor's ... Chicken Parmigiana (fresh chicken breast, lightly breaded and topped with smoked Mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce; served with bowtie pasta, tossed in a creamy cheese sauce). I don't like parm cheese so asked that none be sprinkled on my pasta or the plate. When my meal arrived, there is was. But it was quickly fixed. My meal was delicious! Given the season, the restaurant was busy with what seemed to be holiday luncheons. I'd go back the next time I'm in the area.

This was my first time back to a regular favourite of mine, since their renovation a few weeks ago. This trip was definitely bitter-sweet. We ordered our usual quesadilla app, however not only was it smaller in size, there was no chicken in it. Odd, but ok, so then the mains come. I had an old favourite that was making its (sadly only seasonal) return - the Montreal Smoked Meat Poutine. It was great. My wife however got the Pad Thai and it was bland! I tried it myself and you couldn't taste nearly any park of it - even the chicken was flavourless. That's a first for Jack's. The dessert however almost made up for it. We decided to share the new deep fried Nanaimo Cheesecake Rolls and they were great! The server was decent, he seemed like a newer person in the industry, but he faked it well enough. He also forgot to bring my beer - that's disappointing as well. The new design is more open, modern and allows for more seating - which is great - but the parking is still an issue. The place was very busy and for some reason the staff didn't seem their usual, friendly selves. The visit definitely felt rushed. Looking forward to visiting again, but overall it was one of the weaker experiences I've had here sadly.

The food was average the service was good. Pan bread was delicious as usual. Chicken fingers were good coleslaw was okay. Pad Thai was not the traditional tasted too sweet.

Menu has decent variety for a chain bar/restaurant. Staff attentive, particularly Dan the bartender. Can get pretty noisy.

I had eaten here before and it was a wonderful experience and very reasonably priced to boot so I decided to go back and get some lunch ...they have a very extensive menu of wings , sandwiches, steaks and ribs and even pasta a really nice selection on thier menu. Today I ordered thier Philly  Chesse Steak Sandwich with fries. Food 5/5  First i have to say that thier reasonable prices on thier menu items and for the large portion sizes , kudos to them! ...The cheese steak sandwich is just Devinely good   thin sliced steak super juicy fatty greasy witch is what makes it melt in your mouth and dilicious.  Its really well seasoned and drenched in that beef ju that just gets absorbed by the bread , really amazing ..then the triple cheese melted into the steak is wonderful and topped off with sauted onions and jalapeno peppers is just the perfect steak sandwich ...The bread is soft really nice and perfect for this sandwich . The fries are also unique and very nice they must be dipped in some batter that has a hint of heat ,then fried as they have a really nice crispy coating on them and taste amazing . Service..5/5  I got takeout this time but I have been here before and have had expextional service from waite staff ...very friendly and accommodating . Fast service and always checking in with you to see if need anything and asking if your enjoying your food , the way waite staff should be. If your in the area stop in and support this bar as they have great food and you can watch the sports game also.

I've been to the Hoops downtown Toronto many times, but only because its closest place to get a beer during Fan Expo. The food was average at best so I didnt have high hopes for this location. We wandered in on a Friday night, and boy has it changed since The Smoke was there. There are tv's EVERYWHERE, which is pretty awesome. The place is pretty ugly though. Yeesh. Talk about drab. The staff are all very young and inexperienced, but very nice and accommodating, and got our orders perfectly. This place just opened so I'm sure it wont take long for them to feel more natural and at ease. The bar was impressive and has a great selection of liquors. This place will be perfect for anyone coming just to watch and game and have a drink. Cuz the food is not great. I ordered the special of the day, steak fajitas. They were awful. Steak was overcooked and bitter. Hard to bite through. The veggies were slimy. Yuck. My wife's chilli nachos were pretty good! Fyi there is no kid's menu, so we got our kid chicken fingers and fries. The fries were decent. The chicken fingers were bland but were cooked well and had an awesome crisp to them. But yeah bland chicken fingers. It was also drafty in there. Chilly. Not cozy. They did have a DJ there playing who was good, music gave a good vibe to the place for a Friday night. In the end this place feels like a pub from 15 years ago, when this kind of food was expected from a pub, before all the chain pubs stepped up their food game. Stick to the booze and enjoy the game, and you'll like this place. And hey the fries are good.
