Fear not, Sweets by Kash to the rescue!!! I called Lindsey up about 3.5 months out from our wedding date and explained everything. She did say that was not her specialty, but man she hit it out of the park! We were having a small wedding and wanted to have cheesecake as our "cake". We already had a sweets table and wanted to beef up the options for guests, as well as pay homage to our first date. Our first date was at the Cheesecake Factory and we thought it would be perfect for us. It was easy to set up a tasting. We chose to pick up the cheesecake from Lindsey and have a little date night at home and test it all out. The packaging was super cute and the decorations on top were beautiful. But the flavors, WOW! I think cheesecake is so underrated. It's rich and creamy and is such a great dessert. We devoured the tasting cheesecake in a few days LOL. Honestly, with how simple everything was to set up and get answers to our questions immediately, I knew we had someone good. But the flavors, MMMMMMMMM!!! We didn't even finish an entire piece and I knew Lindsey was the baker for us. We love to support local businesses as well, so in the end everything worked out. So we booked Sweets by Kash and had her deliver to our venue and set up the cheesecake for us. They were all so beautiful and we got so many compliments on the taste. We ordered chocolate chip cheesecake and Oreo, as well as a gluten free chocolate chip cheesecake. Our GF guests really appreciated being able to eat a dessert in its entirety and said it was outstanding. We opted to save the top so we could enjoy that deliciousness all weekend, but someone walked away with it sadly. I will absolutely placing an order so we can celebrate our wedding anniversary with our special cheesecake (and no, I will not be waiting an entire year, because that cheesecake is too dang good to wait!). The employee, Tim, told me they had 6 vanilla and 6 chocolate vegan cupcakes available. I requested 4 chocolate cupcakes, and he said I would need to prepay and that they would be ready in 15 minutes. I was surprised they could be prepared that quickly, but went along with it. We picked them up about 30 minutes later and brought them home. That evening, my son tried one and it was extremely hard, with grainy frosting. Overall, the cupcake tasted terrible. We didn't eat the remaining three and left them in the box. The next day, I returned to the shop to share my concerns and was told Tim would call me back. He did call and said they had tried a cupcake and felt it tasted fine. He also told me that I may not know what vegan cupcakes taste like. I didn't argue, but I've had plenty of vegan desserts before, and they've never been this inedible. He then explained that the batter used was leftover from a cake made a week earlier and that it's common practice for them to freeze batter and make cupcakes later. I was surprised to hear this. More disappointing was that there was no attempt to make things right or offer any solution--only to explain why they wouldn't provide a refund. I told him that was fine, but that I wouldn't be returning or recommending their shop and would be sharing my experience. If you're looking for vegan options or any dessert options and decent customer service, there are plenty of other places in the area. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

The new location is in a brand-new building, and their coffee selection has expanded as well. Their butter cookies are the best I've ever had, and it's difficult to leave without a box. Sometimes I even buy two boxes--one to eat on the way home and another to share with my wife when I get there. They have delicious, fresh donuts every day, and I especially love the donut holes they sell on Fridays. I also love that they carry Ideal Bakery's kolaczki and some of their other products. They offer fresh bread that they can slice for you when you order, or you can take it home unsliced. The staff is extremely friendly and patient while taking your order, and they never make you feel rushed, even when there's a line of customers. I ordered a cake and a dessert table from them for a party, and they did an amazing job. Salma was incredibly helpful throughout the process, offering recommendations and assisting us with our order.
