We had discussed extensions a few times because I wanted more volume, but after having a really bad experience with tape-in extensions (not this salon) I was nervous to try extensions again, but Alyssa answered every question I had and made me feel completely comfortable giving it another shot. Here we are a year later and my hair is still healthy and thriving, which is a HUGE deal to me. She didn't just reassure me my hair could handle it, she proved it. Beyond being incredibly talented, Alyssa is genuinely so fun to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, and makes every appointment feel like such a great experience. The salon itself is also amazing. They communicate appointments well, everyone is welcoming the second you walk in, and they always offer tea, water, or other fun drinks. However, I was able to book an appointment without paying the $50 deposit. Later, I received text messages stating that I could not schedule any future appointments until I paid the deposit because I had allegedly missed an appointment, but not thinking that it was actually booked until I paid it! This creates unnecessary confusion and miscommunication about whether the deposit is actually required. If the deposit is mandatory, the booking system should consistently enforce that policy, and not allow you to book without payment! I also do not appreciate being contacted through personal text messages regarding an alleged balance. If the business believes I owe a fee, I would expect a formal invoice or written documentation through the appropriate business channels. Repeated text messages requesting payment are not a professional way to handle billing matters. Definitely will take my 450.00 elsewhere!

This is the worse hair experience I've had. I wanted to deep dark brunette color, and I already had medium/dark brown hair. The stylist asked me how I felt about a little red in my color and I said why not. It has been one week and ALL of the red dye and brown dye washed out of my hair. Each time I washed it with my expensive color care products more and more dye came out. The dye is all over my towels. Now I have brassy light brown hair. I'm devastated.
