I had an interview with Bonnie Herrings for the property inspector position. At first she seemed very nice. Then she offered me a second interview with Robert Herrings the next day. Now she did mention a question to me, asking me what I thought about women getting together in a work place, meaning drama and or gossip. It was odd to me. Then she mentioned that this position is usually a man's job. Asked me if I am licensed to carry? Wth lady? Then she told me I can't look professional at the interview, not lady/girly like, or I would not have a chance to get the job. Also she advised me to dress more like a man, khakis white buttoned up shirt, loafers or something like it. Put my hair in a pony tail. Mentioning that Robert Herrings would not think a woman can do the job of inspector. I felt like I was in a time warp, where sexist ways were permitted and the women working in this office accepted the position/role given to them. This was the oddest most sexist interview ever. I never been asked to look more masculine. I never been asked if I had a gun License. Wth? Weird weird weird. Is Trump bringing back old bigoted and discriminatory ways or what?
