The quality and freshness are stellar, my wife and I brought macarons home that we purchased Friday morning, they weren't sampled until approx 36 hours later surviving the trip from Cannes to NJ. My daughter whom we bought them for was ecstatic. I noticed many locals purchasing treats and bread so I believe my wife and I chose the right store. The service was great and the gentleman serving us was very helpful.

Completely agree with May G's review-- the employees working here were kind of "off". When I asked…read morefor help, the gal behind the counter sighed like she couldn't be bothered. The two gals working there seemed more interested in keeping the store empty than in helping anyone as I watched them essentially run off a Japanese couple who was having trouble ordering. For a city like Cannes the staff should really be more comfortable with international customers. However-- the macarons at La Maison are absolutely delicious. I had the quito (dark chocolate), romeo (cafe) and the sylvia (caramel) and loved each one! The ganache center puts these macarons in a class above regular macarons. I've visited their location in NYC and the quality is consistently amazing! Wish I could rate higher as I would totally give their macarons 5 stars... but too bad their service stinks.

Her son makes all of them and the mother runs the store. Oh my word. Some of the most equatorial chocolates you will ever see. No joke. They have things that look real and like toys, it's crazy! They can be expensive but get some of the cheap ones just to sample. Even though I gave then 5 stars they do have a downside. They only ship to far away Nice. It's 1 hour away lol. So you must stop in when you're in Cannes next!!

Prices varying according to the weight of candies and rather expensively, (2EUR for 100g). Fit of bad temper concerning the saleswomen who downright treated me of swindler because they believed that I ate candies while in no way, I indeed carried something in my mouth but it was nothing else than my chain which I had around the neck (all right it is a bad habit) but however they saw me of back carrying something in my mouth and believed that it was candies, I thus bought myself the remark: " if you continue like that you go to have caries. " I appreciated in no way the used tone and told myself, next time I will really eat a candy in front of her!
