    Best macarons in my life
    Nick D.

Um..hey yelp how do I give this place 6 stars? Because it's THAT good. Incredible creme brule, literally my family had to order a second one because it was THAT freaking good. Wow, we were left speechless, it was chilled, flavorful, and made your palate sizzle. The macarons were obviously also on point. The staff is so friendly and helpful in making crucial dessert decisions!

I had the most amazing macarons here! They had a plate out with samples and after tasting strawberry, vanilla and pistachio I was hooked. I ended up buying 5 macarons: dark chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, Nutella, and the recommend salted caramel (said to be the most popular). When I got back to my hotel I had a bite of each for a snack and before I knew it had eaten all five! They're addictive and amazingly delicious. I paid about €8 for them and wish I had chosen more flavors! They also have tons of other desserts to choose from. I highly recommend stopping here when you're in Cannes!

I never liked macarons back in the US as the meringue was very sugary and it would always get stuck on the teeth. I never understood what the big hype was either. When I walked by this shop full of macarons and chocolate, I figured I might as well try "real" French macarons to see what it's supposed to taste like so I walked in and bought 4 to try. I tried Pistachio, Chocolate, Coffee, and Passionfruit. My husband and I took a bite of each and shared. WOW, those were so good that I wanted to try all the other flavors! Now, I know what "real" macarons taste like! They were soft, not too sweet and the perfect sizes. Nice and small. That's all you really need. Not like the huge Bouchon Bakery ones. I wanted to take some home, but with their packagings, I knew it wouldn't make it back without getting crushed so I decided to just remember them in good memory.

My second favorite bakery in Cannes! The macaroons are almost unparalleled and the price will make you happier. You get a better price than laduree and it's almost as good. They also have more offerings than solely macaroons so you can get many more desserts. From chocolate treats to creamy bites, everything looks and tastes amazing! They have many locations in Cannes and within a few blocks they have multiple so it's great to have the convenience as you walk through everywhere including le suquet. The locations vary slightly where the larger ones have a small seating area. The smaller ones just have the longer counter you walk through that makes you want to pick everything before you get to the cashier. Everything inside this shop is so well made and presented. I find myself thinking "I want that and that and at least two of those."

Very nice place for a quick bite. Very reasonable prices and tasty food. I found this place walking by without looking at any reviews. Lots of people eating there so I took a chance. It is just outside Galleries La Fayette

So unfortunately, this place didn't live up to the expectations for me. To give it the credit it deserves, the display was great, and the chocolates did seem quite amazing. However, we tried their desserts and were underwhelmed. My friend got the creme brulee which was more custardy than expected. I got the coffee chocolate cake which was way too buttery and lacked the expected taste of coffee.

I have a huge sweet tooth so once I decided to accompany J to Cannes for his conference, my first order of business was to search out the best patisseries in town. I kicked off my search with macarons at Jean-Luc Pele. They had the normal flavours I love such as lemon and coconut, as well as a few newcomers (for me at least) such as Speculoos, praline, and mint chocolate. I ordered a variety and threw in a couple chocolate desserts as well. At first bite, I was disappointed. The Speculoos had nice flavour but it was soooo chewy. Next was the chocolate and mint which had slightly better texture but not the best flavour. Luckily, the rest of the box (and no I didn't eat it all in one sitting) was FANTASTIC. The praline macaron was heaven and the lemon, vanilla and coconut came close to the perfection that is Cocoa Atelier in Dublin. My chocolate desserts were filled with a rich mousse and extremely tasty. Highly recommend!

Mister Pelé you make good macaroons! I have to taste ice creams and chocolates. It should not set a lot of time... I tasted pastries and..... I LOVE! Lemon pie, pistachio crème brûlée, big raspberry macaroon... yummy!

This place is an impressive, classic, french patisserie. Well worth a trip by to check it out. The expressos are good also.
