So, when it came time to purchase another home, finding someone thorough, trustworthy, and experienced was extremely important to us. From the beginning, I could tell Kevin had an unmatched attention to detail. As soon as I submitted an inquiry, I received a prompt response and everything quickly got underway. In true military fashion--as any veteran will appreciate--Kevin arrived 15 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment and immediately began readying his gear and equipment. By 0700, he was already at work. There was absolutely zero time wasted. Kevin was incredibly meticulous and methodical as he quite literally worked his way from the shingles to the slab, checking everything along the way. He took the time to address all of our concerns, explain what he was seeing, and ultimately provided us with an extremely thorough report that was organized and incredibly easy to read and understand. We weren't the only ones impressed, either. Our realtor and even the sellers commented on the quality and thoroughness of his work! After what we experienced with our previous home purchase, I cannot overstate the value of having a home inspector who takes his job seriously and genuinely pays attention to the details. I highly recommend Kevin above his peers and competitors. If you need a home inspection, Shingle to Slab is the go-to, premier home inspection company.

He missed several big and obvious things that cost us a lot of money. The 1500.00 we paid him was completely wasted. The first thing, he described a sensor on the garage door as operational, but there wasn't even a sensor on the system, and the spring was on the verge of breaking to the point the movers wanted it propped up before they would move things into the garage. There were also several electrical shorts due to squirrells chewing on the lines, which would have been obvious had he turned on these lights involved, but he obviously didn't. His sloppy and inadequate inspection cost us thousands of dollars, and afterward, wouldn't even return our calls. Completely inadequate and unprofessional. Don't waste your money.
