I randomly came across this spot in Chinatown on Christmas Day- as it was the only salon open. It's a small salon that prefers a cash only policy but takes card too. A biogel manicure costs 50$, a regular manicure is 30$. I have come here 3 times- where Eva has done my nails twice. The first two times were great but the last time was disappointing. She charged me an extra 10$ for painting stripes on one of my nails and messed up the shape of my nails because she claimed they looked odd. Now I look like a cardiac patient with clubbed nails. To make matters worse as if a 104$ manicure and pedi should get me better service. Without consent she decides to cut off my baby nail because it looked unhealthy, and added a fake nail that broke off in 2 days. I was very disappointed. The end product - check the picture. If you are someone that loves doing your nails - this is an overpriced spot for solid colour nails but not anything beyond that.

It's going great over here ;-)

Excellent place, we found this place driving around looking for a place open after hours on Sunday, they made an exception and took us in at 7:30, and we went on and even got a pedicure, we ended up leaving at 9:30pm... AMAZING UNCOMPROMISING SERVICE

I've been to a lot of nails salons around Montreal and this one is the best so far they use the real shellac gel not the powder regardless the professionalism of the lady it's just awesome. I recommend it to any women want to get her nails done , long fake nails with shellac gel .. they are the best in it.

I used to come here a lot, but found a place that made my shellac nails last much longer so I've been frequenting that spot instead for a few months. Fast forward to now and only when I arrive there for my appointment I realize that it is now being run by a different management. Long story short, I was charged $86 for shellac mani-pedi which took over 2 hours because the girl did not know how to do them. She had to file down a bunch of times to reapply a bunch of coats. My nail shapes are all independent of each other. She hurt me while cutting my cuticles. The lines are messy and I swear I have more polish on my cuticles than when I paint my own nails. End result: patchy, uneven nails with ridges, bubbles, and discolouration. I felt bad for the girl since she looked so tired. I tipped a minimum amount but with them charging so high for such a shit service I could not get myself to tip more. The picture shows my nails AFTER I intensely filed down shellac off my cuticles and hands. My usual spot does shellac mani pedi for $55, takes an hour tops, lasts 3 full weeks, and doesn't cheap out on coats. Avoid this place at ALL costs. You will be better off painting your own nails and I'm not exaggerating.

Spa Humaniti is located on floor 9 of the Humaniti Hotel. It is a small spa with 5 treatment rooms,…read more2 foot massage stations, and 2 nail stations. It serves guests of the hotel, the Humaniti rental apartments, and Humaniti condominium owners. Prices are typical (at least compared to Toronto prices). For example, a 1-hour Deep Tissue massage is $120. They also have Swedish ($110) and Therapeutic ($120) massages. Deep Tissue requires an RMT to have higher qualifications; this spa location has 2 such qualified RMTs. The spa also has facial & body care, nail care, and hair removal. All treatments and prices are on their website. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. I was surprised to hear about a Vegan manicure and pedicure (never heard of it before). They used Bkind vegan products. This is good for those who get a manicure every 2 weeks. They even have Vegan nail polish! The entire spa is scented by a plugin aroma dispenser. There is a lounge resting area which has water and tea; unfortunately there are no cookies or fruit. Booking must be done with a credit card since they have 24-hour and 48-hour cancelation policies. There are seasonal promotions. Those who live in the Humaniti condos and apartments have 20% off massage treatments. The foot massage stations have electrical and USB plugs. There is free WiFi provided by the hotel. The spa is wheelchair accessible. There are washrooms which are also wheelchair accessible. There is paid street parking or valet parking for $12. I had the opportunity to speak to the manager, Lisa. She knows her spa well. She is also in charge of the pool and gym; she gave me a tour of them. However, only hotel guests can use the pool and gym. Review 2022-035 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

I went to this spa earlier this year while I was staying at the Humanitii…read more I received a facial and a massage, and the services were very good. The massage therapist gave me some great tips for long term back pain and I felt extremely relaxed during the service. The esthetician was also fantastic and gave me lots of details about what she was doing, what each step was for which I learned a lot from. I have one piece of critical feedback, which has nothing to do with the staff or services. The robes are way too small. These are also the robes in the hotel rooms if I recall correctly. I'm a US16 and these didn't close on my body. Everyone should be able to enjoy a spa day, including but not limited to people with larger bodies. Because of this I really couldn't wear the robes in the spa area and had to just keep my clothes on until I got into the treatment room. This also meant I couldn't enjoy the common area in the same way. Overall this is a really lovely spa and a beautiful space but I would encourage the owners to expand the robe sizes they offer in order to make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable in a spa which should be all about comfort.

I was accompanying 2 other female guests, and as a guy, I felt quite awkward entering the salon but thought I would just look around to enable me to write about this new business. Awkward is probably an understatement. May be I just did not want to be caught in a pedicure chair. Is this a guy thing or what? Never felt so welcome and they utterly convinced me that I should have a pedicure which I graciously accepted. "I am embarrassed and should have cut my toe nails" I said. "Oh don't worry " was the reply. "in fact, it's better that you don't, as we will get your nails clipped, shaped and polished the professional way." Feeling awkward being a guy going in for a pedicure? Let me tell you that I was so wrong! So very wrong. Their motto is "we've got the highest hygiene standards in the beauty biz." Just a note that we have worked for a hygiene business for over 20 years and I can assure you that they take hygiene very seriously. Pedicure is about having healthy feet. It's a pleasure that everyone should experience. Life is meant to be fun. If you fancy indulgence then let your subconscious guide you, and The Ten Spot will have your feet scrubbed until they are soft. Any gunk hiding between your toe nails and skin will get painless removed. Your feet will be scoured with special soap and scrubbing salt until they reach a level of softness that you didn't know existed. The gentle foot massage improves circulation in your feet and stimulates the blood circulation and rejuvenates your entire body. Finally, the lotion on the feet, ankles and heals just buffs away the dead and dry peely skin. The place is ultra clean, bright and inviting. This is indeed a business that focuses on customer satisfaction, and leaving you feeling totally pampered. Guys, go for it. Your feet will thank you.

Second time getting my nails done ever! This place was…read morehighly recommended by coworkers. I went in for a refill (they tidy up your nails with powder (I call it nail cocaine) and a new polish colour) and it cost me 40$ with tax and tip. Not cheap and I'm not sure they did a much better job than the last place I went to. The place is hard to find unless you know your way around the Montreal downtown underground. It's in the tunnel that connects PVM and Centre Eaton. They close at 7pm on Mondays and I finish work at 6pm. When I got there there were already 3 people finishing up so I really thought they weren't going to have time to fit me in but it wasn't a problem. The removal of my old polish was really fast. The man had all sorts of gadgets and tools. Then he cut my fake nail tips, applied the nail powder (cocaine), and finished up with nail filling (I originally thought you file the nail and then apply the powder). The guy who shaped my nails was a pro! He was filling it every direction making sure every inch of my nails were cut evenly and smoothly. It was great! The part that turned it into just an ok visit was the application of the colour which was done by a lady. The colour I wanted was mislabeled and so they didn't have it in stock anymore. I had to choose another colour on the spot so I'm not completely in love with it. And also, the lady who painted my nails painted one of them crooked. You can't see it when my fingers are together but you can totally tell once the finger is alone. For 40$, I don't think that should happen. Maybe my nail is misshapen but shouldn't they fix that then? Instead of using gel polish that is just polish, she used the kind you put in the little cooker thingy. I don't think I like that method because, even though it's faster, I don't think it feels or looks as good. In the grand scheme of things, it's small. They still did an ok job and it is a very convenient location. They were also very friendly. Verdict is still out on wether I'll return.

Great customer service! Very nice people and 2 weeks later our nails still look perfect!read more
