I am a design build specialty contractor as well as a consummate perfectionist. After grilling other drywall contractors to ferret-out who we would retain on our personal residence, Jerod Ketchum (owner of JK Drywall) was the only player willing to work as part of a design/build team on our very challenging re-model. There was a lot of custom structure and fabrication work requiring drywall. There was no text book for what was to be done so everything custom had to be improvised along the way. I found him to be very flexible and eager to work as a team player. It is extremely difficult to find contractors with this type of demeanor and aptitude. He's an expert at matching textures. Part of the scope of work involved full replacement a large ceiling with a Level 5 finish, the most challenging drywall installation of them all which involves no texture, but a smooth as silk finish. The end result of this work was total perfection. The ceiling has a satin like eggshell paint finish in a room that has lots of big windows facing the noon sun/lots of light. No flaws are visible anywhere. Mr. Ketchum babysat this project beginning to end even helping coordinate paint contractors to ensure the job was completed perfectly. I drove Mr. Ketchum harder that any other contractor would have endured. He responded by researching, and executing brilliantly. Every other contractor had told me that what I wanted wasn't possible.
