Josh came out promptly to look at my project. He had an estimate over to me quickly and I excepted the work as shown on his estimate. I was asked for a Docusign and I signed. Date was scheduled for installation. 2 days prior to installation, I sent a message asking what was expected in the way of prep from me and didn't get a response. I emailed that night before, late enough that I didn't expect a response that night. I took off of work, which directly effects my paycheck, and waited around all morning for him to show up which he never did. I called several times and only was greeted by his voicemail. I left 2 voicemails and later left for work. I went back to the Facebook adds and made a new post looking for a contractor. Shortly after (I assume he saw my add as this is how we were connected originally) I received an email stating that there was a miscommunication. He explained that the door wasn't ordered as the job needed payment prior to any service or receiving of product. He had us convinced that he was capable and willing to complete the project but his decision to not answer texts, emails and phone calls told a different story. Why wouldn't you call your customer back? Why send an email after no-showing? I have another contractor scheduled for install. read more
