They sent out an electrician who replaced the upstream GFCI outlet, a quick job at a fair price ($140). Two other companies wanted me to pay ~$60 just for an "electrical safety inspection" (where they go around your house and look for old electrical to replace) before providing a quote. I just wanted someone to fix the outlets. I would highly recommend Carroll's if you want an actual electrician to come and fix your problem rather than a sales person.

We called and had them come out to see the raw space and give us an estimate on what we were looking for. Once we decided to go with them, they were very good about scheduling to come and install the wires at the right time before the full landscaping was laid down and they installed a switch into our garage to so that we could hook it up to our home automation. I was impressed with every step of the job, especially how they built the stand for the string lights and made sure they were professionally installed in a way that looks like it'll last a long time! Overall, we are thrilled with the results (see pic) and will definitely have them back for some outdoor fans and other electrical needs. Super impressed!

One said they would have to cut drywall from floor to ceiling and we would have to patch it. Reuben quoted much better rates and he only cut what he needed to cut to install new panel. Although we had a surge protector on our meter, they installed a lightning suppressor to our panel. They also advised that we have surge protectors on every outlet with devices or electronics plugged in. Due to lightning we had to replace so many outlets. They verified that our house was well-grounded on all sides, since we seem to be a magnet for lightning strikes. If all other precautions fail, they suggested a lightning rod.
