I have attempted to contact the sales manager, Terry Hargrove, and General Manager, Tom Lewis, on multiple occasions, but am consistently left with answer machines and ignored emails. By buying from a dealership, you would expect not to face such issues. However, the lack of care for customers, their profession, and indeed their own reputation, is staggering. I'm now left with a family car that is seriously flawed and no one from McLarty's team seem to care at all.

Mom loves her new 10th gen Civic EX, and after driving it for a couple of days I want one too. You will need to bargain, but that's not a big deal - I negotiated to the truecar.com price listed on the Consumer Reports website (will not be the same as the Truecar website itself), but didn't actually use the truecar service, cutting out the middle man. Not open on Sundays.

Today, I found out that the tech was only able to close the glass portion but they still expected me to pay the same quote even with what was discussed prior. No call to discuss progress. No chance to even get the entire thing fixed while it was open and easily accessible for the tech. Asked to see if I could get a credit to just fix the entire thing and I was quoted the same ($1100) due to the tech needing to open it up again. That would have been upwards of $2000 to this company. Now, Im under the impression this was done intentionally for money. I decided to take my Jeep and will be getting it fixed at a dealership I can trust. Disappointed. Ultimately, I wont be going back to Fletcher nor can I give a recommendation.

The salesperson said the automated response system had confirmed availability without anyone verifying it first. I also provided my contact information twice during the visit, but my phone number was never written down. I did get to test drive the same model, which was helpful, but the vehicle I originally came to see was priced about $12,000 lower, so it wasn't really comparable. I also asked about another vehicle at a different McClarty location. It took about four hours to receive a response, and by that point I had already scheduled an appointment directly with the other dealership. Everyone I spoke with was polite, but the communication and coordination between inventory, sales, and follow-up could definitely be improved.

They went above and beyond to make it right. 2, today I was in for brakes and tires. Thought I needed pads for sure as I have 88k miles and needed rotors turned as they had warped. Now there's many service departments out there that will say you need all kinds of things repaired or replaced, but not Russell...they called to tell me all I needed was the rotors turned and that the pads still had plenty of life left...saving me about a grand. In this day and age finding a service department you can trust is HUGE. Hats off to Russell Chevrolet for getting it right!
