From the moment they took over management, there has been a huge lack of communication and respect by them. They would not care one bit about your tenants. At the beginning of this year, we had a credit of over $7000, that's how much we had overpaid! A rep sent me an email on Dec 17 and 20th. I spoke with her over the phone and adjusted our future payments accordingly so we don't have so much overpayment. We received another email on Dec 22nd with a new reconciliation. I specifically asked her about the amount that I should adjust my future payments to, which she directed me only to the document. Instead of giving a straight answer, we've gotten used to just being directed to documents. I had specifically asked for the amount to avoid misreading the document to ensure correct payments are scheduled. I emailed her back with the exact amounts I had scheduled for March, April, and recurring payments and asked her to let us know if there are any discrepancies in the amounts, but she did not respond back. Her lack of communication resulted in our payment for one month being short. After our March payment had gone through, we received another email from the same rep on March 10th with the amount due. Because we had already verified with her earlier the amount for March, we were under the impression she had wanted us to adjust the April payment due to a possible credit also, I immediately scheduled it on March 11th and emailed her back too so we skipped the April payment thinking we paid it already ahead of time to make the account's credit even. The then slapped us with a late fee without ever reaching out saying what happened to the April payment. All the error because their rep failed to confirm the amount with us back in January! The management is refusing to take ownership of their mistake and still want us paying for the penalty caused by their negligence!

Due to the interaction, I felt it was necessary to contact the landlord directly and have a third party involved to help complete the process. I was surprised by the difference in communication style, as previous interactions in other settings had been more composed and professional. I understand move-out situations can involve differing expectations and interests.
