I am compelled to give this review after my experience with Cecille Waller as my realtor agent to let others know who are thinking of using her services. My experience with Cecille Waller has got to be the worst I have ever experienced with a realtor agent EVER! My first mistake was signing with her without doing the background check. After signing her as my realtor, it was all downhill. These are just a few of the issues I had with her; -very difficult to get a hold of -doesn't answer her calls -doesn't follow-up -always out of town -not very thorough or detailed -doesn't take the time to explain documents -gets defensive when you tell her she made a mistake and blames others After talking to other people who have dealt with her, I realized that I wasn't the only one who have gone through a hellish experience with this realtor. STAY FAR AWAY from this realtor agent! DO NOT make the same mistake I made. read more

If you need a real estate team that will go the extra mile for you, then Greg and Lisa Gardner with Intero are the team for you. Greg and Lisa had the task of finding us a new home. That does not sound that hard, yet we were living 2.5-3 hours away, depending on how many potty stops we had to make with our 5 year old twin boys. Greg would send us pictures and video as well of a potential home so we could preview it before making the drive down to Gilroy. We always had a list of questions and Lisa and Greg answered them all. If they did not have the answer at the moment, they were happy to research the answer and got right back to us. They also provided a personal touch. On one trip down, Greg gave our boys each a set of Hot Wheels cars, just for being so patient with all the house hunting and long rides in the van. My wife and I do not make a big purchases on a whim. We research, research and do more research. Never would I have thought we would purchase a home without touching the walls first and walking through the front door. I had Martha Lizarraga help me sell my home and it was a great experience. She was always one step ahead of everything making it a great experience. She also helped me buy my new home and I have to give her a lot of credit because she went through hoops to get us to close on time. I used Intero to help sell my South Bay Area house recently. This was a part of a relocation and needed to be handled in very specific ways to meet the criteria of the relocation company. I was told by the Manager that they were familiar with this particular relocation company. I came to find (through the relocation company) that this was not the case. The Intero Manager assigned Katelyn Hayes and assured me that she was the right person and had a lot of experience with this type of sale. I was shocked to find out just how inept she is at her job. While at my house, she had to ask the Manager how to fill out one of the forms. Yep, lots of experience. That was just the beginning of my ridiculous journey with Katelyn. The relo company set the price of the house and gave very specific limits as to the high and low limits we could list the house at. She wanted to list it below the minimum price set by the relo company. I had to tell her that we could not do that. She responded by showing me comparable sales in the area. She looked baffled when I pointed out that they were many months old and for houses that did not even come close to the size or quality of my home. Wow, I can actually read!! News flash Katelyn, not everyone needs shorts skirts and F me heels to get through life. Katelyn set up an open house for my home on a weekend. There were multiple open houses in my neighborhood that day and they had their signs at all of the major streets heading towards the area. Katelyn in all of her brilliance, brought 2 open house signs. She put those 2 signs on small residential streets that would be used only by people that live there. My girlfriend and I had to go get her signs and move them to the biggest intersections leading to my house. I went to some of the other open houses and talked to the selling agents to find out how many and where they placed their signs. They ranged from 8 to 14 signs each, all of which were used to lead people to their open houses. They were placed up to a couple miles away. Another rookie fail Katelyn. After having the house on the market for only a couple weeks, Katelyn told me she wanted to drop the listing price. I again had to remind her that we can't do that. Guess what happened a few days later? I got a solid offer at the asking price. Good job looking after your clients Katelyn!!! People don't want to make less money when selling their homes. Then the lies began. The biggest lie was so blatant, that even after all of Katelyn's shortcomings, it still shocked me. While I was driving back to my house (which is a 5 hour drive from where I got transferred to), I received a call from Katelyn saying I had an appointment with the building inspector in 3 hours. I knew nothing about this inspection and because I had excepted the buyers offer, I was not expecting anyone to be in my home. I had items out in the open that I did not feel comfortable having unknown people see or possibly take. I told Katelyn that I was out of the state and that she needed to reschedule. She said multiple times that she "just found out about it" and it was too late to reschedule. I was being very insistent on not having people just walk around my house without any notice and she finally confessed that she had in fact received an email two weeks prior but failed to even open it. Yes, another shocking moment that made me shake my head. Katelyn, when the little envelope next to the email is closed, it means you have not read that one yet. Pretty little pictures can't even get through the fog in the space between her ears. She then told me it was just the assessor and would only be taking outside measurements of the exterior of the house and fence line. She would even drive to my house to be with the assessor. She promised me that it would only be the two of them. When she called, I had not told her that I was already on my way back to my house. She assumed I was still in another state. When I was a block away from my house, I called Katelyn to tell her where I was. She was walking down my driveway as I drove up. I saw a ladder leaning against my garage door and it struck me as odd. I asked Katelyn why the assessor would need a ladder to do the work she had described would be done. I clearly saw the panic on her face as she told me it was not the assessor but was actually an inspector doing a full in depth inspection of my house. He would be looking and accessing every part of my house. And oh yea, the buyers were also inside with their teenage child and their realtor!!! She had straight up lied to me. Katelyn Hayes, you are a bold faced liar!! The buyers realtor told me that Katelyn had been a nightmare to work with and she hoped she would never have to deal with her again. This was the most blatant of her lies but was by no means the only lie she told. The relo company had similar issues with her and said they would not be using this real estate office in the future. Where to start!??!! My husband and I began our home search months ago and had an idea what we liked but just really unsure of where to begin, with a 6month old both working full time and my husband in grad school we really needed guidance. Once we found Don and Rob we knew we were in good hands. We were relocating from Willow Glen and being that I work from my home office and often in Santa Cruz and my Husband working in Morgan Hill, Gilroy seemed to be the perfect place to land. With the market being a sellers market and steadily climbing in the South Bay we knew that we needed to move quick and come up with a concrete plan. We really did not need to do any work these guys were quick to share the listing currently on the market that fit our criteria. Don and Rob knew the ins and outs of Gilroy and surrounding areas and were clearly well vested in this industry with many years if experience. Anytime we had a questions Don and Rob were there, always quick to our needs with in a few hours or even minutes! Don and Rob truly looked out for our best interest and genuinely cared about us as their clients. As new residents to Gilroy they went above and beyond sharing all over the very pertinent details about neighborhoods and schools and home specs ( we have a 6 month old so this was crucial to us) but even the little things that are important like surrounding stores to shop, places to eat and gym facilities. Fast forwarding 2 months we are now settled into our beautiful new home in a gorgeous new development... YES I said 2 months!! I only dreamed this day would come so fast and seamless and Don Barns and Rob Ellis made it happen. Persistent, knowledge of the Realistate market and the desire to find US OUR HOME, our dreams have come true! Don and Rob walked through this stressful yet very exciting process all the way to the close date and to this day they still call us to see how everything is going. I can not express enough our gratitude and true appreciation for our dynamite and dynamic agents, Don Barnes and Rob Ellis ARE BEST IN CLASS.
