I rarely give reviews, please allow me to begin there. I don't give negative reviews, only positive reviews IF I discover a service or product that is so outstanding that I feel compelled to let others know--which brings me back to the reason for this review.
I've used Dreamcatchers extensions for many years. My own hair is (now) as long as the extensions I use, but I love the volume and find them SO easy to style and use (IF they are implemented correctly) that I choose not to give them up! I've had them implemented and adjusted in many great cities and at many great salons--successfully!! Nashville is an awesome city, make no mistake. But I've had a hard time finding a SUPERIOR salon, an AWESOME stylist, an EXCELLENT colorist and a GREAT stylist that can DO extensions properly. It's been a continued struggle--to the point where I've been asking around for recommendations and I never hear the same stylist or salon recommended to me more than once. THE "SEARCH" became nothing but a huge potpourri of "maybes" and a WHOLE lot of "disappointments." And let's remember: it's MY hair, time and money being utilized and often wasted as I try place after place, stylist after stylist....on and on.
And this cycle went on to the point that, sadly, on many occasions, I've flown to other cities to get the job done and done correctly.
But that routine gets old and very quickly.
FINALLY! I have found a superb salon with regard to service: J.bangs in Green Hills. A lovely salon WITH stylists that KNOW what they are doing, which is just the most amazing concept!
I highly recommend this salon and, specifically, with regard to extension implementation, color or cut I highly recommend you save yourself ANY and ALL frustration and see Jen Neu at J.bangs Salon.
I only wish I had found her much, much earlier/sooner! Further, it is my hope that this review will help anyone reading this to avoid a potential hair disaster and allow them to simply get the job done correctly the first time with Jen at J.bangs! And you don't even have to walk in with any fear or trepidation over IF she will do a good job. She will do an awesome job!
You can count on it. I DO.
And it is a relief to have someone you can trust, count on and believe in.
I'm sure many of you can relate to that. The salon is top-notch, as is she, and I AM telling people, as people do ask me, when they ask, about Jen Nue and J.bangs. AND I am sharing this review in the event you are, as I WAS, seeking to get off the merry-go-round (more like The Scrambler!) of poor service, poor knowledge, continual disappointment and also away from the horrible feeling of someone else screwing up and setting you back as you seek to grow and take care of your hair.
