This maybe a long read but it's 100% non-solicited review of a fantastic contractor. I recently was introduced to Big Johnson's Concrete and Pumping through my pool contractor. We needed to get our driveway replaced. Kevin came in and bid the job and provided a very reasonable and respectable quote which included the driveway approach/apron. In my city, public works scrutinizes the contractors for approach work thankfully. The other competing contractors on my job would not take not the approach work for either not possessing the proper bond or expertise. Kevin worked with the city and our HOA to get on board. The work came out so well the Public Works department provides Big Johnson's as a referral for other residents looking to pull an approach permit/plan. The driveway worked out so well I contacted Kevin two months later to tackle the hardscape work for my front yard landscape/hardscape project. He just finished up a fantastic wash finish expanded front porch and walkways. I couldn't be happier. His crew is fast and work well together. The guys putting down the forms know what they're doing getting proper grades and pitches set for water sheeting. The finishers are top notch and have a great attention to detail. All led by Kevin who is in the trenches with his team getting dirty. He leaves your property clean even picking up every nail he pulls from forms when breaking down. He always answers the phone when I've called with questions or asking for clarification and asked me to reach out now after the job anytime should I need help or questions about his work. Trust me, if you need a honest and hardworking team for any size concrete job; Kevin is the perfect choice.

This was the biggest project I've taken on to date, and Hugo made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. When he first came out to bid the job, we spent over half an hour walking through details, options, and considerations -- that initial conversation set the tone for the entire experience. Communication stayed excellent from start to finish. Every time an inspection passed, Hugo immediately sent me a photo of the approved inspection card so I always knew exactly where things stood. Overall, a great experience -- quality work, clear communication, and a contractor who genuinely cares about doing things the right way.

Within a span of a week or two of meeting Marco (Jr.) for a consultation, we were already so impressed by his knowledge and ability to carefully explain the cement process thoroughly, that we decided to hire M&M for our backyard cement project without hesitation. We were able to get scheduled relatively quickly and it took approximately a day and a half from start to finish for excavation, drainage installation, cement poured with beautiful diamond finishes + a small area with high quality CA fescue turf (my pup loves it!). The final results most definitely exceeded our expectations and we were also so pleased with the quality of the cement after it cured. Marco's extremely professional, knowledgeable and most of all, incredibly patient. The amount of back and forth I put him through for different quotes and renderings would've seemed bothersome and annoying to others, but Marco handled each request with so much patience, flexibility, understanding and poise. Both he and his dad (Marco Sr.) were awesome to work with and it's apparent how much of an expert his dad is based on his thoughtful recommendations and final outcome of the project. Their whole crew was also very efficient, swift yet careful and meticulous. M&M genuinely turned our vision into reality - they executed it and the backyard transformation is so amazing. I'll always recommend M&M to anyone and everyone in need of cement and turf, they're easily one of the best in the game. I'm beyond obsessed with my new backyard. Thank you very much M&M!!

Marco was easy to work with and made this process seamless and quite literally stress free. He kept me informed throughout the phases of construction. Marco also has his family in the business, Marco Jr and Leslie, who were very much involved and supported throughout the project. I admire how Marco Jr and Leslie work with their father and the business. Marco's children are young adults but don't let their looks fool you; M&N concrete is as professional as they come. As for the project: I spent 5 figures, so you better believe that I expected high quality craftsmanship. M&N Concrete delivered ten-fold. They happily answered all my questions and concerns in-depth and accommodated all my requests. They provided recommendations for my project and allowed me the space and time to make a decision.
