Haircuts and personal grooming usually come in two varieties: Fast or Precise. I choose precise, it's a personal decision. When I choose to pay someone for a service I can also do at home, I think it's reasonable to expect a certain level of professionalism, attention to detail, and get Precisely what you were looking for (or close to it) that your hard-earned money paid for.
So when you walk in and the barber-in-charge says "lemme cut you real quick", then gets bothered that you have the audacity to ask for him to take his time, and not rush a haircut, for the sake of the time you're taking away from Him being on His Phone... It's a personal decision to find somewhere else to go.
The place is nice, & if you're looking for a quick, rushed, haircut with unpleasant customer service, maybe it's not so bad.. just remember, you get what you paid for.
