You go to a call center that then dispatches a "technician" - that's actually coming from Tucson. Be aware - anytime you call a so-called locksmith and they don't answer with the name of the place and want your address to have a "technicican" call you back, you've reached one of these kind of disreputable places. They then come with a ridiculously high bill and assume under the pressure of the situation, you will pay. Find a real locksmith firm.

Nathan responded quickly via Yelp Projects request and provided an estimate of $250-300 depending on whether any locks proved to be old/problematic/etc. We transitioned to texting at his request (easier to be responsive) and he was, indeed, very prompt in all of his follow-up. When he arrived (within 48 hours!) I assured him that All 10 locks (the actual door knobs and deadbolts) had just been replaced 12 months earlier and at that time all had been keyed to the same single key. In just under 2-1/2 hours he had all 10 locks rekeyed and provided us with 7 identical brass keys, included. I later tested and all keys worked smoothly in all of the locks. I need to add that Nathan is a terrific guy to boot - husband, father, family man. He describes his journey into locksmithing as poignantly fitting with his spectrum-situated, puzzle-solving personality... one that sometimes didn't mesh with "typical" jobs. I made sure he had no qualms about me mentioning that endearing quality too and he agreed it was an integral part of his backstory in terms of how he got into this business and why he enjoys it so. This is a guy who is both trustworthy and will likely be in this business for years to come.
