He and Joe have been helping us correct so many errors and blatant bad construction work inflicted on us by Whatcom county contractors as we built our custom new home (granted we had a really bad GC - JT Construction and Design - who probably enabled so many of our construction nightmares). Noah has come to our rescue in redoing our soffits at roof line with a creative sheet metal solution, getting our security cameras installed, installing a wonderful loft ladder, he'll be doing our shower door install, and will be working with Bellingham Plumbing and Heating to try and get our bath tub connected (the bad construction plumbers NW Plumbing put the pipes and drain in the wrong place when the slab was poured, and we bought the bath through them so they should have known the specifications, but they didn't even bother to look at the detailed plans before they did their terrible work). So we are still spending money fixing the problems of bad Whatcom construction contractors. If you're like us and you are not very experienced in construction matters, you try and rely on the honesty and ethics of the contractor. Even though Alex was busy and booked up, he gave me free advice on how to remedy the problem: "If you were to attend Home Depot with the photos, they will be able to advise an appropriate compound to repair the MDF material. It's relatively simple to trowel on with a putty knife and lightly sand after. The trick is to not apply too much compound, being better to do multiple coats that one thick one. Hope this helps." This stood out from a few other e-mails that I received. I have to find someone else to get this particular work done quickly, but I really appreciate the extra time that Alex took to offer a recommendation. Hope to try Better Under in the future. Thanks!
