When my sons car was broken into on Boxing Day evening he needed a replacement drivers door window…read moreand trim. Unbelievably, the dealer couldn't get one for about 2 weeks so I decided to call some scrapyards. A-16 was the first I called and Nabil, the owner, told me immediately that he had the parts I needed and he would call me back when they were ready. True to his word he called within an hour and about an hour later I had the spare window, which was $75, less than the $220 the dealership quoted. A-16 are an awesome business. They have used parts, gently-used parts, reconditioned parts, refurbished parts and can get you new parts as well. I had a small crack in my rear light unit that was going to cost me around $400 through the dealership to get the part. Nabil got me a replacement after-market, new part for $115. If you have any need for parts for your car, and are ok with gently used, then please give A-16 a call. If they don't have it they can get the part for you at way less than the dealerships.

Over I really like Princess Auto. Definitely favorite especially because of their no-hassle return…read morepolicy. This review is related to their own product review on their website. I always wondered why there are so few reviews for such a popular retailer. I discovered recently it's because they don't allow any critical or negative reviews - even the slightest ones on their website. I wrote one review for a product that was moderately critical and it never showed up on their website. I recently submitted a 3 star review for a mini excavator I paid $10,000 for. The purpose was to provide them and their customers an honest opinion of what I liked and disliked about it so prospective purchasers could make an informed buying decision. After a couple of days, I got this email from them: " Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" So what's the point of sharing if honest reviews aren't allowed??? I rely on reviews to make informed purchases. I would have expected more from Princess Auto.

When I emailed him back, he stated that is "nothing he could do", as the store has a no return policy. He suggested that I modify the front and rear axle of my car by putting spacers which I declined. I will note that they still list the same wheels as being compatible with my car, even though they are not. The stores advertise excellent customer service - until something goes wrong that is - and claim to be "experts" - clearly not. Buy at your own risk, just know that in the small chance that something goes wrong, they will not take any responsibilty and leaving you paying for their mistake.

The rims never did show up and I have repeatedly contacted the company for the past two years, attempting to get a refund. Any response has been "we will look into it."
