i dont use yelp to look for products, but definitely do for services. i had an issue with an employee at the apartment complex i live at and was hoping for immediate help. laura got back to me i think within 10-15min, i received an invoice quickly and paid. and it was just good timing this employee was working the day i inquired and well j&l rushed out someone and helped me i think within 1-2hrs it was absolutely amazing. this was the royal flush of service, friendly, professional and timely. the rates are more than fair, i would have 100% tipped the person that came had i been available. i truly wish i had an image to post with the review, but i dont want yelp to moderate genuine feedback. i 110% recommend this company, if you are reading this i encourage you not search any longer and wait for this company to get back to you! ty again laura for all the help and updates! read more

Before contacting J&L my knowledge of process servers came from the movie Pineapple Express, and when I was faced with actually having someone served, I wanted that guy! Thankfully I didn't find that exact person, instead I found someone better, J&L... Being in the position of having to serve someone papers is never good. Instant trust. Laura was professional and warm at the same time. She's probably seen it all so let it all out and let her work her skills. As other reviews confirm, Laura is extremely quick as she knows the clock is ticking on court cases while time is of the essence. She doesn't seem to work your typical 9-5 day, in fact it's obvious Laura will work with what she's given and adapt to finish the job ahead of schedule. Laura deserves ten stars. I was in town for the weekend and needed a process server to serve a restraining order to someone who lives in NV. No company was open on Saturdays to take calls except for Laura. The communications process was beyond smooth, and Laura made things EXTREMELY easy. She was kind, patient, and very responsive whenever I had questions. She genuinely cares for her clients and she will always stay in touch to provide updates. Within ONE DAY, she served the papers and told me she will send the form that I need to me the next day. Without me even asking, she sent me a scanned copy of the document. She went above and beyond with answering my calls/texts and making me feel better since this situation with the person being served is really frustrating. I contacted Laura regarding serving a small claims complaint to the defendant. She was extremely helpful over the phone, and kept in constant contact with me during the process. I sent her the documents late Thursday afternoon, and she attempted the service the very next day. The defendant was not at the premises, so Laura told me she would attempt to serve again the following business day (which would have been Monday), but then I received an email from her that the defendant was served with the documents on Saturday! This was definitely good news, and Laura was amazing in making sure this got done in a timely manner. I would definitely use J&L again in the future. read more
