**Complaint and Request for $130 Refund**…read more I am requesting the full **$130 refund** I paid Legal Wings for four attempts to serve my husband. Before service began, I provided extensive information to assist with successful service, including **pictures of the defendant and his girlfriend, his vehicle description, license plate number, and the specific timeframe when he was most likely to be located**. I explained that attempting service during that timeframe would provide the best opportunity for success. After payment, I was told that additional fees would be required for reasonable efforts such as checking whether the defendant's vehicle was in the parking lot or attempting service during the timeframe I provided. **These additional charges were not disclosed to me upfront.** When I questioned how I could verify that the attempts were actually being made, I felt the company became defensive rather than providing a satisfactory explanation. I ultimately had to use another process server, who **successfully served the defendant on August 12, 2026, at approximately 6:30 PM**. Legal Wings offered me a refund, and I am requesting the **full $130 I paid**. Based on my experience and the lack of transparency regarding additional charges and service attempts, I **do not recommend this company**. Please confirm in writing when my full $130 refund has been processed.
