Rodrigo initially came to my home for a consultation and quote. I did not have to wait long for a quote. I then dealt with Jessy, project manager. She was incredibly patient with me as I changed my mind several times about the project. I did not have to wait too long for the work to begin. The two painters, Gus and Roberto, showed up as scheduled. They were extremely polite and answered all my questions. Their work was top shelf! They completed the project in the time promised, as well. I found the fee for the entire project to be reasonable. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants quality work and professionalism!

Bob, the owner of Suburban Remodelers, will probably never see this review…read more Let this be his greatest weakness, but Bob isn't exactly the most tech-savvy contractor you'll ever meet. He does all his estimates on paper, gets his pricing from a paper catalog, hands out business cards at fairs and trade shows, and engages in many other old fashioned histrionics to make a living. He may never truly understand the concept of an "online reputation," in fact. But none of that really matters... Bob is an extremely nice guy, and the results of his work were impressive. We just needed five new vinyl windows upstairs to match the relatively new existing ones downstairs. Bob identified the downstairs windows (Harvey Slimline), and found all the right materials to make the upstairs match nicely. It was a small job, but it was executed very well, and for a much lower estimate than the handful of other contractors I met with. Bob and his co-worker were done in about four hours, and cleaned up after themselves nicely. Fair price, job well done. Hopefully, Bob won't be too surprised when his next customer tells him, "Well, I saw your good reviews on Yelp." "Son of a gun, what the heck is a Yelp?" he will most likely reply...

My roof was put on July/August of 2018. In Jan 2019 there…read morewas a leak in the kitchen (shown in pictures) due to 1/2 hole being left open in the roof. In May 2019 we are starting to notice water behind our walls on the second floor. Final inspection was never done on the roof because owner of company never called to schedule it. I had it done may 22nd 2019 and it did NOT pass. There is many issues. Sealant was applied to cover up mess ups holes in roof that where never there before roof was even ripped. A ridge vent was applied and never should of been. Very time I came home during the process business owner was never on site. He told me before hand this was not his crew so I expected him to stick around. I came home at least three times a day during this due to having a new puppy at home. Now with everything going on I am noticing other concerns refusal to provide insurance information, he shit his phone off to avoid phone calls from attorney and myself.

When questions come up regarding scope-of-work they took the time to communicate to clarify instead of blowing right through. Prompt e-mail communication and flexible payment arrangements. A tree destroyed a small structure on my property during a March 2018 nor'easter. This company finally got the tree off my property after several delays and a couple of broken appointments, but I allowed a lot of leeway because of widespread damage and heavy demand for tree services. But even at the end of the day on a Friday near the end of July, this guy failed to make an arranged appointment. So, for the third time, he was a no show, no call, no email, no text, no return call to a message on his company phone (a cell phone). I feel it necessary to also add that when he finally did get the fallen tree off my property, his equipment (an old tractor with a fork lift on the front) left deep ruts in my lawn. I didn't require a fix because I had other contractors coming too (who were delayed because of his delays), but be aware of this possibility.

He was able to quote and complete two bathroom remodels in a very tight timeline (between tenants), came exactly when promised, completed the work with quality and on-time, and at the agreed-upon price -- and left everything extremely clean. Earlier on, the ceiling of my spare room had to be repainted due to a stain caused by a defective gutter issue. Pristine paint job. The ceiling looked brand new when finished. I already have a list of upcoming jobs to be done including the removal of "clutter" after a late spring cleaning. The crew couldn't be nicer or more accommodating and ..... the price is always right!

All of this while coming in on budget, with no hidden or extra fees. I've never done anything with a drop ceiling before and mine is a tricky one... a previous installer having used both 2 x 2 sizes and 2 x 4 in the same space and with a ton of oddly shaped split panels. After Tiago came and gave me a quote for a small den, my autistic son insisted that I couldn't change the ceiling in "his" room... which is what necessitated Tiago's returning to remeasure for the different-sized project a second time. He was very patient. Then, I ordered the wrong kind of ceiling planks, which couldn't be mounted in the space, given how high my eaves were up under the drop ceiling. I then direct ordered a special drop ceiling tile that was apparently oddly sized. After he suggested I order from Home Depot or Lowe's, I got one that worked on the third try. His crew even installed my new light fixture and painted my gridwork-- which I hadn't anticipated requesting upfront, but which would have looked awful without his crew's intervention. He offered to come back a fifth time to apply a second coat of paint to the grid work... But I actually like how it looks slightly metallic as is...so the choice was mine to leave it. Regardless, I'm so happy with the end result and it totally changes the feel of the space...which is what I was going for. Throughout, Tiago had great communication and I totally trusted him and his crew...which is everything when doing renovations--good vibes! Tiago and his employees are amazing…read more We have used him multiple times now, for a wide variety of jobs. He has painted rooms, done carpentry, redid our entire bathroom from the studs in, and most recently replaced some damaged tiles. His prices are incredible, his workmanship is great, his attention to you as a customer is something that is otherwise a lost skill with many contractors. He wants things to be right and he is willing to go above and beyond to make sure it is right! I can't recommend him enough.

Absolute disaster…read more Terrible communication from start to finish. No initial walkaround to establish expectations. No final check out before leaving the job site. Contractor canceled the majority of the work due to lack of 'acceptable' supplies, without my knowledge or consent. The contract should not have been proposed if work could not be completed as promised. Major work was left unfinished (installation of smart thermostat) but still charged for the work on the final bill. Repairs promised as not-noticeable upon completion look absolutely terrible (see photos). My son and I had to help install/mount my 77" TV because only one contractor showed up for the entire $2500 job over the course of four days. This project seemed to be a complete afterthought for Girls 'N Tools. Would not recommend (even for small jobs/maintenance) under any circumstances, whatsoever.
