They always respond quickly enough and are helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed working with their long-standing service guy, Jimmy, but he's since retired. The younger guys working there now are still great, he must have trained them well. We have no plans to work with anyone else as long as we own a home in their service area. They do their best to keep costs manageable while not recommending systems/options that won't last. It's a hassle to deal with AC in the Texas heat, but Brown is good to have around to help survive it without going broke. I'd recommend 'em, for sure.

When the hot tub company came to install they said the wiring was done incorrectly. I called the company immediately, and within a few minutes got a call back from Chris. He was on the phone with my hot tub company trying to explain to them that he had done the job correctly, but my hot tub company wasn't having it. They were refusing to install because "it would void the warranty". They left my hot tub uninstalled until I could sort through the electrical stuff. Chris rushed right out to try to get here before they left, but the company was gone within minutes. Chris arrived and I put him on the phone with the company's "master electrician, and within minutes the hot tub company knew they had made a mistake. They admitted he had done the job properly, and basically knew what he was doing better than they did. Chris didn't have to, but he finished the installation process for them. He saved me from having to wait another two weeks for the hot tub company to come out and finish the job they never even started. I will be using this company for all of my electrical needs, and I highly highly recommend!

Every area that they had to walk on was covered and vacuumed when they left. We had a crew of four and all were excellent. The main point of contact for us is Cory. He does all the tech evaluation, assesses the problem and fixes on site unless it needs equipment that needs to be ordered and replaced. Cory checked in three times today, once in person. I recommend highly and plan on using them going forward. If I could rate 6 stars, I would.

After looking through several websites, I decided to give Texas Discount Air a call first because of their competitive service call price ($29 at the time of this review). I was able to speak to a live person when I called around 8:00am, and we were able to setup an appointment the same afternoon (I didn't even bother calling anyone else since they were able to help me so quickly). The time scheduled was between 1:00 - 2:00, and Todd Hoffman (the owner of the business) showed up at my house at 1:00 on the dot. I explained my issue to him, and he listened then diagnosed my unit. He quickly determined that everything looked in order, but I was low on coolant. He explained that I must have a small leak in the system, and then outlined my options. He was very knowledgeable, directly answered all of my questions, and recommended in my situation that for now I should have him fill the coolant to the correct levels (which was my choice, as well). The entire time he was friendly and informative, which I appreciated, and at no point did he pressure me into doing something that was more than required. He conducted himself in a professional manner the entire service call and performed the work quickly, but never seemed like he was in a hurry to get to the next customer. The cost of the service call was extremely fair based upon previous work I've had done on my AC units, and the $29 service call fee was credited towards the repair cost, as well as a service discount coupon that I found on their website. Based on my experience, I highly recommend using Texas Discount Air for your AC repair needs, and I will happily refer my neighbors and friends to them.

The business states that theyre open today so I'm not sure why Todd can't send someone else to rectify the mistake he made. He took her money, and told her to call someone else. We will. She will be taken care of, but how many others have you taken advantage of and left in a potentially deadly situation like this? Todd's responses to his client is despicable. You're not a business owner Todd, you're a lazy half a** contractor. I don't know how you sleep at night, but karma comes back around.

But, it finally succumbed to its mortality. WTD? Come to you great people of Yelp. The way I see it, if an hvac company is worth it, they've installed a unit in a home the same spec as mine before, so you don't need to send high pressured salespeople or a tech to give me the run around. Act like you are experts, professionals and look my home up on google, redfin, zillow. You should know what fits that home without ever coming out, or you aren't in the right business. Cameron from Team Enoch spoke to me on the phone. I sent him pics from my ladder to the attic where the air handler eeks out a living, and one of the manufacturers placard. I did same with the outside unit. Cameron was familiar with the system I had, mapde a few suggestions of different units they sell. I had a couple other prices from two others, one a family connect, the plug. Cameron even hooked me up with available 0% financing. Didn't use it because Chase Freedom offered 0% with two fitty cash back after spending $1500 first 3 mos. Boom, gottem. I was given a start time, the technicians, Alec and Alex arrived spot on the dime when they said they'd be there. No waiting. They took me through the process, explained everything in detail, then got right to work, no dilly, no dally. I was told how long the service would take, and they finished on time. These guys are as OCD as I am. The install was better than the original installation in 1995, brand new. Every line, crisp, every wire, tied and straight. I was military so everything has to be dressed right dress. It is. You can tell when the people providing a service care to get every detail with a high level of respect for every cent you're spending. Team Enoch even cleans up behind themselves. They respect your home. I just settled my bill, and it was truly my pleasure to pay for this. I honestly know I got more value for my moolah. Thanks to everyone on Yelp as well. A new part, not included in the price that was over $1K, was claimed to be needed. It was added and things were good until just recently. There's now a third event where the unit stopped working all together. We purchased a brand new unit from what is claimed to be a highly rated organization. This is objectively bad. Our family, Including a baby, were in the heat and had to pay out of pocket for embarrassing and loud window units. We do not recommend unless you would like the same experience. The people were nice though.

Brilliant work; very thorough report walk-through with photos. Impressively professional and thorough. The guy George was awesome. There were some good catches that we can get fixed today, and extend the life of the compressor. Heartily recommend. We also joined the membership program to get on the bi-yearly checkups for AC and furnance in preseason times. Incredible turnaround! Well done all!!
