They are a…read morebusy shop but I was given a timeline to get the repairs done on my Honda Shadow 750 and Frank not only got the work done on time but gave me updates as he progressed in the repair. The repair was more extensive then i had hoped but I let my bike sit for several years, so that's on me. I saw a few bikes that came into their shop that had been previously worked on by others, one in particular had missing screws, bolts, and the wiring needed to be resorted. I Called the shop and asked how much to get a muffler welded onto my Engine [estimate 45.00 + shop…read morelabor] Then when I brought my **Bicycle** into the shop to have them Weld on a YZ80 muffler onto a Header to be mounted on the 2 stroke motor. The estimate went up to $120.00 *Including shop labor*. But His welder was out sick, So they had someone else work on it. It sat at their shop for 2 weeks waiting on the welder to get better. by the time the 3rd week rolled around Monday morning I was on the phone and the gentleman on the other end of the phone said he had another mechanic that new how to weld. Would I be all right with him doing the work, I said yes. 3 days later I was told I could pick it up. The Mechanic that worked on my Ride, He's such a Idiot! The welds are blobs and balls & pitted. Worst welding I have ever seen from a Newbie Welder! I had spent 20+ hours getting that Muffler to a Mirror finish and 3 separate coats of High Temp Gloss Black Baked in the oven at 300 degrees for 2 hours and wet sanded after each time before the next coat. It looked like a Black Mirror I loved it! The Welder decided on his own to re-paint my Muffler to it's original flat black using HTP and charged me 2x times the price of A can of High Temp Paint. The Mechanic was using the paint to cover up his poor job of welding. On top of this I was charged 157.29 for him to weld my Muffler & Paint my Muffler. Yes I took a Bicycle to a Motorcycle Mechanic to get a Motorcycle Muffler welded onto a 2 stroke motor for me. I've got over $2,000.00 into this ride. I was shocked at what he did to my ride and the price I was charged, I'll never send anyone to them.

I feel bad for leaving a negative review, Gary seemed nice and it looks like the shop has a pretty good rep but this was my experience. I should add that this was done before I was about to take a trip - so time was a factor. Took my Harley in to get it serviced and have him take a look at a leak. Got it back - it appears in trying to stop the leak he over torqued my transmission plug and stripped it entirely. Dude ghosted me when I tried to call him multiple times, didn't return the calls and the business hours don't mean that he will be there. I thought my primary gasket was no good, I showed him the concern and he replaced it. Told me afterwards it wasn't even broken, but he replaced it anyways. So now my bike leaks more than it did when I took it in, I have a new gasket that I'm not entirely sure that I needed and I'm out 500 bucks. Lesson learned. Ended up getting irritated and just fixing the thing myself.

Well they were defective. So not only did I waste his time I jeopardized my whole trip. Shane was able to order the proper tires and install them in time. Excellent Mechanic and a Gentleman at that, Very Knowledgeable Mechanic, Very Helpful…read more I brought my tires to Shane's old Shop and had him change the front and rear tires and spin balance on my 2007 Honda VTX1300R I was plagued after new tires were installed with Customers 45 degree metal Valve stem with Rubber base. My rims are thick but flat they block easy access to the valve stems so the stems come out at a 45 degree angle. I was just trying to reinforce that curved part of the stem for long term use, (preventive maintenance) I noticed after a few days the tire would look low so I would check and the have to use the rechargeable tire pump to bring it back to desire pressure. I thought I had a rim leak, I was busy using my new tires breaking them in before winter. I had spoken to Shane over the phone and he told me to spray the rim and look for bubbles, I didn't see any, I sprayed the capped valve stem and didn't see any. Even after riding 100 miles in the first day it took about a week for the tire pressure to be low enough that I would notice it, After most of my running around was done in the span of about 3 months some days it would be slightly low other days it was fine, I Asked Shane for some help I was trying not to bother him since his old shop was packed with Harley's and it was near Christmas I didn't want to be a bother to him. He didn't have any issues he told me when a good time to come by the shop and he's have a look at it and get her solved. I brought the tire in off the bike to cut my costs and Shane sprayed down the rim No leak he then removed the valve stem cap and sprayed down the valve stem and it bubbled profusely. He pulled the Inner valve and deflated the tire and pulled the leaking Valve stem and unmounted the tire to get to replacing the stem and used one of his angled stems, He remounted the tire and filled it up and sprayed the stem and it too was leaking. So He re-pulled the stem and tried another until it didn't leak. He remounted the tire re-balanced the tire, and didn't charge me a thing. I gained some experience and a New Mechanic to go to. Redding Harley Davidson, now Shasta Harley Davidson was getting so expensive and they were always trying to push a new sale on you wether it be a new bike with all the "extras" or extra repairs on my bike. I decided to look for another mechanic and I found an absolute gem in BRAVEHEART Motorcycles. Cody who owns the shop and his mechanics will diagnose and fix the problem for a very fair price without all the up charging that the dealers do. If I think I need something fixed Cody and his crew will diagnose the issue and tell me if it actually needs fixing and if not saved me money. If I had taken it to the dealer they wouldn't think twice about working on my bike whether it needed it or not and then charging me accordingly. Also BRAVEHEART has pickup and delivery if needed for a very reasonable charge, and it was a Lifesaver for me when I had a dead bike. March, 2012 I went…read moreto visit Rick at his property for the "ride-in" service. Rick took time to see how I'm positioned on the motorcycle. He also took my size into consideration to ensure I had the best seat for my riding style. (BMW GS 1200 Adventure) The ride up to his place from the Bay Area was painful as the stock seat was extremely uncomfortable. The ride home was great! All the pressure was taken off the tail bone because of the style of the new seat. Less chafing, and you more like you're one with your motorcycle. About 3 months later, I rode the motorcycle from San Jose to New York City in 4 1/2 days, riding over 700 miles a day consecutively--the seat was so comfortable.
